Awesome service. Didn't feel uncomfortable asking questions about what I should get, and they provided not just an answer but multiple options. They have enough variety to find things for most occasions, in my case I was looking for a more "fun" suit for weddings, and Will hit the nail on the head. We had it fitted/tailored with the suit tailoring built into the cost of the suit itself which was excellent. The decor is also great; it feels more like it's a humongous closet that I'm free to try things on in and that just allows me to find something that I'm comfortable and confident in. Definitely better than department stores and chain suit stores. Apparently my roommate also gets his suits here and he loves it too. read more

I have an extraordinarily hard time finding pants that fit and look good at the same time. In fact, it's become something of a running joke that I still can't dress myself at the age of 54. Fortunately, Jackson and Connor is close to my home, and at the suggestion of my wife, went there to see if they could put me right. They have an excellent selection of pants, and were very helpful in finding just the right pair for my needs. The prices are naturally more than what I'm used to paying (Kohl's being the destination for most of my shopping needs), but the quality of the clothing and the attention I received were more than worth it. If you are looking for a positive experience don't look any further than J&C. Although I do not do much cloths shopping- I still need decent cloths to add to my wardrobe. Northampton is truly blessed to have this gem of a store located in Thornes Market. Here are the highlights: 1. Service is unsurpassed. The owners are very passionate about fashion and running their business well. Last time I was there Tara managed to sneak in a free tee shirt in my bag when I was checking out. It was a nice surprise that I discovered later on. Where else would you experience this? This is why I prefer to spend my money with locally owned businesses. Bottom line is they care. 2. Selection of clothing is very tasteful and modern. 3. Quality of clothing is very good and worth the price 4. Look and feel of the store is warm and comfortable. The fitting rooms make you feel like you are at home. Very cozy. Do yourself a favor and instead of running over to the mall- give J&C a try. I find that an upscale men's clothing shop where you have a great selection and you can feel completely comfortable in the surroundings is a tough thing to come by. I've always had great experiences at Jackson & Connor and feel completely at ease there. J & C feels like a bit of a throwback in time to when customer service was as important as selection. I love this place. You will not be misled by their fashion sense and since my husband has started buying his clothes there he has never looked better! The staff is super helpful but never pressure you, I've literally seen them help clients for hours. Great tailoring, too. They tailor for male and female bodied people and they know how to make the clothes work for the wearer. Jackson & Connor is an incredible gem located in Thornes Marketplace in Northampton. Having visited only once before, I made an unplanned second stop on 11/8/14 with a friend. After a lot of wonderful conversation and great laughs with Will and Marisa, it didn't take long for me to decide that I wanted to quickly return to make a purchase. Just a few weeks later that's exactly what I did. There are so many things I really enjoy about this store. It has your standards, and your off the beaten path (check out the boutineers and solid cologne!), as well as a number of styles and items that are subtly unique. Things that you can really match to your personality and to an occasion, but that also stand out just a bit from what everyone else is wearing. The high quality of the merchandise is also quite obvious throughout the store. Beyond the products and styles, what sets this store apart from any other - be it a small specialty boutique, a large retailer or something in between - is the impeccable service. Will, Jackson & Connor's owner, is exceptional, and his team are equally fantastic. Whether purchasing, browsing or just quickly passing through you are truly made to feel welcomed in this store. Great place! A little bit more expensive than the department stores, but the attention to detail and personalized approach more than justify the premium. As a woman who doesn't wear dresses, I was so glad I shopped at J&C for a formal wedding I was invited to this fall. Tara and her staff understood the look I was going for, and helped me find the perfect suit that didn't make me look like I was going to work, dressing in drag, or wearing my dad's clothes. This required hunting down a rare size XS jacket and sending the shirt to be tailored twice, but I got the feeling they would spare no effort to help me look and feel like my best self. I went in with my wife to shop for clothes here and fell in love with this store. The service is spot on and the clothing is top of the line. It was nice to be in a store where men's wear was the only priority and not an afterthought. The clothes are expensive, but high quality and worth the extra money.
