I've seen all the celebrities on TV promoting the Skecher Brand but never paid much attention until…read morethe "Slip-Ins" came to the market but still they weren't anything I felt compelled to run out and purchase, but today when I noticed this retail location I decided to stop in and see what all the hype is about. I walked in to an almost completely empty store except for two members of the staff - they both greeted me and directed me towards the Slip-Ins Shoes and made me aware that if I purchased two pair the second pair would be 50% off. They had a pretty good selection and I walked the aisles a few times until I found a few pairs that might work. I was told they were true to size but decided to try a pair on since they are slip-ins and no laces, after walking around in them I'd say they are true to size. I found two pairs that were both priced at $70 each so I walked out of the door with two pair for about $113.00 including sales tax, now after wearing them a few days I'd say that's a bargain...

Bring in your gently used clothes, shoes and accessories and get cash on the spot, or shop around for some like-new looks-- we've got styles and sizes for every body." I was surprised to see their Enfield location had such a low Yelp rating, because I thought the store was pretty good on a lot of features. #1 - The store was very neat and very well organized with plenty of signs indicating the various sizes of clothing. #2 - The store had a TON of clothing -men's women's, accessories, etc. #3 - Pricing seemed pretty nice -I saw a few gorgeous pairs of like-new sneakers (Saukony) for just $15. As far as thrift and consignment stores go, this one was pretty impressive.

Staff act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, and the buying process is a joke. They'll turn down items that are basically brand new while their racks are full of worn-out, questionable pieces. Make it make sense. The whole place feels unorganized, unprofessional, and honestly just unpleasant to be in. Save yourself the time and go literally anywhere else

The first time we went in we were never greeted and when someone did eventually come over to help us it seemed that we were inconveniencing her when asking questions. We left that day with written prices and item numbers. We went back the following week to purchase all six suits. Long story short, since the lady we had previously spoken to was not there at the time we had to deal with another employee. This gentleman quoted us 3 different prices in a matter of 20 minutes. We ended up waiting for the lady, who was the manager, to get in for her shift and when we showed her the paper with the pricing she told us that we were wrong and she never would have quoted us those prices! Unbelievable since we had her written information to prove it. The lack of customer service was atrocious. I sent an email to corporate regarding our experiences...it was that bad. I would give this store zero stars if I could. I hope no one has an awful experience like we did. We ended us buying our suits elsewhere...somewhere that knew what customer service was.

Keeping in mind their normal prices are out of my league I felt I got a good deal. I felt similar when I took advantage of MW's bogo sale. This location has more of a dressy selection of clothes versus MW. I prefer the choices of dress shirts here; the fabric and fit are terrific. The pant/slacks are also excellent quality. They offer free tailoring although they don't advertise it (why?). I don't know that it's free 'lifetime' tailoring like MW, perhaps that's why (they don't advertise it.) JAB salespeople were not as aggressive as MW but also a shade less helpful. In either case I'm not calling those negatives since everyone has different shopping preferences. It's just my observation. If I need more dress clothes and they have a sale I'd come back.
