Popped into this Walmart today while on holiday. The store was clean and organized well. There is a Subway located inside this Walmart at the south end. Went to pharmacy and paid with a $100.00 bill. Didn't give me back the correct change and when I said "you owe me more than that" they argued and said paid with a $50 and refused to give me the rest of my change. I usually don't leave reviews, but my last few trips to this Walmart have been rough. The amount of online-order shopper employees crowding the aisles is out of control. Every time I try to grab something, there's a giant cart parked right in the middle, blocking the entire section like it's reserved seating. Several times I've literally had employees cut right in front of me or push past like customers are just obstacles in their way. I get that they're doing their job, but the store is basically impossible to shop in when half the aisles are clogged with oversized carts and people racing around with scanners. It feels like regular shoppers don't matter anymore. I just want to get my groceries without having to navigate a maze of blue vests and cart barricades. Every time I come to this store by myself, I'm instantly followed. I've never been approached and asked if I needed help, I've always had to find someone, and when I do ask they're reluctant to help me. I don't know if it's because of my skin colour, that I wear all black (because that's required by my job), or because they can't possibly fathom that a person is just short and that has nothing to do with whether or not they will shoplift. Aside from these several things, I was also nearly collided into by an employee while I was leaving after putting merchandise down because I was frustrated that the elderly employees at this location would rather profile me as a thief than ask if I need help. Do not use the vision center, use the eye doctor He's or she are independent but the vision center between all three stores do not want to listen to you. The Arlington manager in the vision department where you can get the glasses at, just kicked me out over the phone before I even came in. What my problem was is I ended up with the manager somehow to fit glasses. Well the first one in Marysville said where do you wear your glasses at I was like Well I wear them down on my nose. But those were readers I said. So typically people wear glasses they wear them up higher but she made the glasses as if I was going to wear them down low on my nose. So my line of vision was up at the top. Well my problem is I got two claps discs in my neck and I have what you call straight neck my my neck is as straight as a 2x4. So when I'm sitting and driving a car I'm sitting with my neck straight up in the air. Which makes my line of vision down towards the middle. So the first set of glasses were making me so nauseous and so sick and she said oh it's just a adjustment period of time adjustment. Well come to find out that she would never admit it but the first set of glasses were made wrong on the left lens. But because they kept playing the game wearing for two weeks so go home wearing for 2 weeks did you wear them for 2 weeks Oh no I didn't because they are making me sick will go back and wear them for 2 weeks so we ended up 6 months out. And then my dad died and so then it was another 6 months. So I finally got back in there and she says well our rule of thumb is to put the line of vision up here at the top inside corner. And I said well I said I'm driving my truck or my car I said I have to tilt my head forward and it hurts to do that and at that time every 3 months I was running back down to California. So she didn't like that I tried to get her to remake them again due to their policy and she says well I'm sorry we're just not going to be able to help you. And so I go to the other store and she does the same thing I even tell her the whole spiel about the lady I ran into and what all she was doing. And then she goes all right we'll bring the vision down and, and she did it So I went back and I said hey I said I'm having to leave my head forward. And she says well she says I'm sorry but our rule of thumb is to put it up here. I said well yeah but look at my neck look how I'm sitting how I'm standing I said this is where I'm looking out right here and she goes well like our rule of thumb is to put them down lower. She says you know I'm sorry we're just probably not going to be able to accommodate you so let me refund your insurance so I had to call up and get that all fixed and because I had stepped on my glasses she was nice enough to let me keep the ones that they gave me. But the moral of the story is is I was asking for line of vision to be more towards the middle of the glasses and they couldn't handle doing that because what their rulebook says is to do it up high. Because people slouch and they put their deck forward a lot. Well standard people do put their neck forward but when you have straight necks you you physically can't do that unless you hold your neck down. So I tried to go to the Arlington one now couple years later and I briefly told him what happened and good girl gave it to the manager and the manager called up and said no our technology can't help you I said well all she got to do is bring the eye vision down to the middle of the glasses. And he wasn't willing to do it he kept using the excuse our technology isn't going to be able to accommodate you. What it is is they won't listen to their customer and they want to believe about over and above and beyond that their other stores were absolutely correct with what they were doing. Even knowing I said the same exact thing about this two stores and that the first set of glasses that they gave me you know that they weren't even the right power. Anyways go to the eye doctors but do not get glasses from them If you have any special problems with your neck or face because they are not willing to accommodate you at all. I was just in this Walmart and the Assistant Manager Brian and his associate team of phone callers helped my mom get tires on her car as my mom had wires showing and he and his associates spent a lot of time calling other stores to get the tires for my moms car that was an odd size and because of it being a safety issue the team was helpful courteous and worked to find my mom her tires and get her car safe to drive in this pandemic so she could go to her job at a grocery store and support her family! Thank you Arlington Walmart for helping my mom when no one else would and gave me piece of mind as her daughter that my mom would be safe heading to work as she drives over 30 miles back and forth!!! Very very unhappy with Walmart, and it's management. I bought a JBL flip three speaker for $53 on sale on December 4th. On December 23rd it stopped working, I haven't dropped it, it just completely quit. I called customer service on December 23rd at 12:30pm to discuss an exchange. The manager (Shaun) told me that they did not have the flip three anymore and that I could exchange it for the flip 5 and he assured me that they would make it right and I would not have to pay the difference. So I drive to Walmart and now am informed that I have to pay the difference if I want to exchange. They offered me a gift card for the 53.00 but I will just contact jbl. I'm Now stuck with a broken speaker and can't get a new one. Apparently Walmart is ok with telling you one thing and doing another. I highly doubt the $25 extra they would have lost in the exchange would effect them at all. My friend also bought an iPhone years ago from them and it was defective but they refused to exchange it!! Totally unethical and I won't ever support Walmart again. I've never returned a single thing and always shopped at Walmart. I was picking up a few items before work with my wife, we paid for our items, and the receipt, didnt fully print out. ( there was an associate that fixed the paper just before we paid, great guy) We went to the front, but without the complete receipt, we were stopped and harassed by several off the walmart staff. I had to go find the young man who helped us last time to attest to our purchase and we were finally allowed to leave. Is this how you run your business Walmart?! I will avoid this and every wal mart in the future, I will pay a little extra to shop at a place where the employees respect and appreciate your business. I was denied buying a case of beer along with 200 dollars worth of groceries for my home and family. I am 21, I had my wife and baby with me, and the cashier (ashley) denied me buying the beer and demanded (rudely) both ID's. The beer is for me, I am paying for the groceries. I was very disappointed in the help I got from the manager (none). If I hadnt worked all day and just spent an hour walking around the store I would have left my cart right there for her to put away. But I was hungry and just wanted to go home. I see someone else has had the same problem. I dont expect much from the uneducated employees of walmart, but you dont need to be very educated to treat your paying customers with respect. Based on statements from previous reviewers claiming that this Walmart is one of the cleanest around, I can't fathom what other Walmart stores must look like? This Walmart is located in the filthiest shopping center in Smokey point/Arlington. Simply take a drive through the Walmart parking lot, which parallels a corn field to the East and take a look for yourself. The amount of garbage lining the driveway and perimeter of the parking lot is nothing short of horrific! The image this sends is loud and clear! Walmart cares about making money, and could care less about its impact on the environment. Now about the employees: the few times I've gone in, there's been a group of employees on break, standing directly near the first set of outer doors smoking and pickin' their noses. I walk in thru the second set of doors and ask the "doorman" where the handheld baskets are located? He doesn't know, so onto doorman 2 who points to the opposite end of the store and says "they're down there". He kindly offers to fetch me one, but never returns. So I meander to the dairy cases in back for my gallon of 2%. They're sold out! How do you sell out of milk? On the way home I'm thinking of how these idiots want the minimum wage increases to $15 an hour! $15? Really? Don't buy tires from this Walmart. They will sell you road hazard and then refuse to honor it. When you appeal to the management and management overrides the tire mechanic decision to refuse to honor the road hazard, then the tire mechanic will harass you by refusing to mount the tire saying the rim is dented. So when you take the rim to the rim straightener ( $ 94.00 ) and he tells you that the degree of warp is minimal and he would have mounted the rim on his own car, the intentional harassment becomes transparent. Then you take the affidavit proving the rim is straight and ask Walmart to mount the tire and rotate at no charge per warranty at 6:00 PM and it is 8:00 pm, and you are sitting in the wait ro listening to the theme of Ghost Busters play over and over and over, you really begin to wonder why? read more

I'm not a huge fan of Walmart, but when I'm up in the Tulalip/Marysville area I usually have some sort of reason to stop at the Walmart Supercenter next to the Casino. That place is a zoo! Extremely long lines, crowded aisles and rude employees. I'm glad I heard that this Arlington Walmart Supercenter opened not long ago and isn't that far from the Tulalip location. I popped into this place during the week of Christmas and to my surprise it was not busy at all. My initial thought when I walked into the place was how nicely organized and clean the place was. Sure, it's new and I'll assume that not many people have shopped there yet, but I was impressed. I got what I needed and did not have to wait in a checkout line. The cashier was also very friendly and struck up a little small talk. Forget Tulalip! This location is a hundred times better! read more

I called the Arlington Walmart to see if they carried a patio conversation set that I had seen online, but was sold out. Brandon quickly checked stock and let me know it was available and said he'd hold it for me for 48 hours. When I arrived to pick it up the next day, I immediately found someone in the garden department to help me. It was the last set in the store and a floor model. And it had my name on it! I realized part of the coffee table was missing and the employee offered me a generous discount because of that. After I paid for my new patio set, there were four employees ready to help my brother load it into my truck. I have never shopped at Walmart before, mostly because there is not a store close to where I live. But I have to say that my brother and I were very impressed with the wonderful customer service we received by every employee that helped us! The Arlington Walmart rocks! read more

I think out of all of the Walmart Supercenters that I have been to this would be one of the cleanliest yet. I have not had to wait a very long time while shopping here as well. This last weekend I went to get some last minute things for a St Patricks Day party and the cauliflower was delicious and a great price! They also just started carrying Atkins low carb frozen dinners, which I am a huge fan of. The bathrooms are clean and smell great. Overall great shopping experience for me. read more

What a waist of time, gas, and energy!
