Outside entry facing main mall parking.

So happy TJ's moved this location from small, cramped space up the street to this larger store outside the Everett Mall. So easy to navigate aisles and you don't take your life in your hands trying to park or walk into store! Love the great deals and unique food options. The service is always top notch and employees are so friendly!

This beautiful Orchid, $10.99, I believe.

Trader Joe's stop today, I came to get a couple of house plants today. I was pleased by the plant display and the options available. I just discovered that TJ sales orchids, so I bought a couple, and their beautiful! The sizes, and the price is quite a value. I made my way to the check out, and as I approached, Katie, had the warmest smile. I was pleasantly surprised, and knew that this was going to be a perfect experience. Katie, immediately offered to provide a box to transport my new plants home safely. Very kind and sweet, I know they're trained to be uber friendly, but this interaction hit differently, in the best way. I think I'll name the Orchid after her.

Wonderful!!!

This TJ's has expanded lately and, has probably helped keep Everett mall alive! The previous location had the worst parking lot, but so happy they move and got more space! They've always had a wonderful selection of snacks and food! This location gets packed in the evenings and Sundays, so beware! They have a wonderful and fast working staff though! Thanks, for the yummy Valentine's Day treats! Cheers!

Absolutely LOVE this new Everett TJ's location! So much space for parking, and the store feels roomier and has a better layout. As far as the staff, ambiance, products and value...been to one Trader Joe's, you know the deal! Always the friendliest and most helpful staff of any market or grocer, always a clean and stocked store. Great product selection, with increasingly better organic options. Always new and fun snackeronies to try. Great deals on flowers, plants and wines (the essentials...) I'm a TJ girlie through & through! Peep my most recent find, steak meat pies. Made these on a stormy evening, to die for. I love seeing what other finds people have, always something new to try!

Made this beautiful arrangement from 3 orchid plants from TJ's and a pot from HoneGoods. Just beautiful!

I made this beautiful centerpiece from 3 orchid plants from TJ's, and a pot from HomeGoods at $19. Just Beautiful!

Tina is the best!! She deserves ten stars, she's THAT awesome. She has energy, enthusiasm and so much love. You can totally tell she loves her job. And that energy + her laugh = a totally uplifting experience. Now, about TJ's and the shopping experience; I always find funky snacks, treats and spices. So much goodness. I am so happy after each shopping trip, with my grocery bag full of some funky (try the Birds Nest in the frozen food section -- you're welcome) OH yeah, I also so recommend their popcorn with herbs and spices. This stuff really should have a warning label, because it's so addictive! Oh, before I forget, they brought back samples!! Like, a trip to TJ's is already pretty epic, but having samples again adds to the epicocity!! So, in conclusion, stop by Trader Joe's for an amazing shopping experience. And don't forget to say hello to Tina for me!!!

Parking by the entrance.

The first of three stops for my morning adventure Saturday 14 May 2022 was the Everett Trader Joe's. In my experience, different Trader Joe's have different greeting cards, so I decided to travel a little farther to this Trader Joe's to see what they had. The greeting cards were shelved on the wall next to breads/baked goods inside and to the right of the entrance of the store. The offerings were not too numerous, however I managed to find perfect fits for three upcoming occasions. Each card cost 99¢ pre-tax. For the three cards with tax, the total was $3.26. Quite a deal compared to other stores where one individual card can run a bill closer to $5.

This is such I good wine!

The produce section continues to rock, as do the superb meat and seafood sections. The former asian section is mostly mixed in now, and that is fine. It still has a huge variety of top-quality items. Cheese has shrunk a bit since the new restaurant opened, but it's still good. Deli meats are a little less appealing, but still good. This is a wonderful grocer, neck-and-neck with the other local/regional high-end grocer, Metropolitan Market. Of the two, I prefer T&C. Both are great.

We stayed out of the middle aisles, shopping on the edges. The last time we were in, the original sushi people were gone, replaced by some run of the mill contractor with fishy tasting garbage. This time, prices were unbelievable. We all know that Covid affected the supply chain and things got expensive. The supply chain has been fine for awhile, yet everything is ridiculously expensive. I am not poor. I think I have a relatively decent income. When I mentioned that I was likely to stop including this store as a regular option, I was met with death stares. Seriously? We were followed to our car and asked to not come back. Seriously? I actually went back inside and took photos of the staff running away from me. We weren't violent. We didn't cuss. We weren't loud. We just called you out for being a money-hungry conglomerate charging as much as the richest customer will pay. You should be ashamed at how exclusionary your store really is. And obviously your staff isn't trained on anything remotely close to empathy. If they were, there attitude would have been much better. Effen Mill Creek snobs.

Pre-Covid pricing?! Inflation, what inflation? I love you WinCo!…read more This store has the exact layout and signage of older Cub Foods stores in Minnesota and other Midwest states. I worked at Cub for about 10 years in the 90s so I almost fainted when I walked in a few weeks ago. It is an exact replica. I've been in the area for 3 years and have been so disappointed in the grocery stores here. Prices elsewhere (I'm especially looking at you Safeway ) are convenience store levels of ridiculousness. And product selection is usually dire at conventional stores unless it's Walmart (ugh) or Fred Meyer. I get it, conventional grocery stores are pricier because of "service". But let's be honest here. Mainstream grocery stores now offer less than zero service. Shoppers are generally treated like an inconvenience. "Hey Safeway clerk, your 2% milk is empty at 5pm. Can you please bring some out? No? What do you mean you don't have anyone to restock?" Hmm, only self-checkout open? Let me ALSO do your employee's job. Do I get a self-checkout discount? Previous to my recent discovery of WinCo, I bought staples at Costco and only shopped the BOGOs or loss-leaders at QFC/FredMeyer and Safeway with an occasional emergency visit for a needed item or two. But I think I could do 99% of my shopping at WinCo, get everything I need and still save a significant amount of money. Does anyone know of the connection between WinCo and Midwest-based Cub Foods? The similarities are not coincidental because the signage and layout are identical and unique.

While I was entering my cash, an employee named Tara came up, leaned over, and in an accusatory tone asked if I had entered the water, scrutinizing my screen closely and even putting on her glasses to "inspect" it. When I told her I had and asked if she could check her own screen, Tara became offended and escalated the situation, yelling in front of other customers, "You don't have to be rude, I am just doing my job. I can call a manager." This public humiliation was completely unnecessary. After completing the transaction, I spoke to the store manager on duty, only to be met with a generic "I will talk to her," with no meaningful resolution. This incident raises serious concerns about Winco's self checkout procedures. Customers are already forced to perform cashier duties due to understaffing, and now we are subjected to suspicion and harassment for simply doing their job. Checking for unscanned items is part of an employee's job, yet Tara chose to publicly accuse and yell at a paying customer instead. Winco, this behavior is unacceptable. Self checkout should not come with humiliation, intimidation, or yelling from employees. Your staff needs proper training to treat customers with respect while doing their jobs

Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. I ordered ground pork for pickup from this location, and when I got home and opened it, I discovered mold growing on it. After I got back home and checked the new package more closely, I realized the expiration date could easily be rubbed off by hand. This makes me wonder if old meat is being cleaned up and given a new date to look fresh. If that's happening, it's not just unacceptable -- it's dangerous and dishonest.
