In short Decent-size store. Huge parking lot that's easy to navigate. Nice staff. Otherwise these places are pretty consistent. In long It's never, ever dead here. But we timed a mid-afternoon stop today and found tons of stuff. You know they're always great for snacks at good prices, and some percentage of them might not be total sugar-starch bombs. But we got some bad-for-us stuff as a treat. The frozen food is a hit with my lovely bride, though I avoid that hyper-processed stuff as much as possible. We found good hot sauces and wine at great prices. The checker was totally friendly and one of the floaters helped us a ton with our cart situation (my wife needs to use a scooter these days, hopefully not for much longer). I kinda dread the crowds here but a mid-day visit was super pleasant, and you always find good prices on tasty things at TJ's. read more

Definitely one of the most popular spots in Everett Mall! I wasn't able to find any of the mini tote bags, but I was impressed by how Trader Joe's has its own skincare products and the variety they offer, so I bought some to try. The holiday shopping vibes were clearly present in the store, as I saw people grabbing multiples of the same items to stock up. As usual, the employees were friendly and efficient. Even though the store was crowded, they were able to move the lines very quickly. Overall, I'm still very happy that Trader Joe's is able to keep its prices down in this economy. Parking near Trader Joe's may be difficult, but the mall parking lot is huge, so you can always park a bit farther away and walk. read more

Trader Joe's stop today, I came to get a couple of house plants today. I was pleased by the plant display and the options available. I just discovered that TJ sales orchids, so I bought a couple, and their beautiful! The sizes, and the price is quite a value. I made my way to the check out, and as I approached, Katie, had the warmest smile. I was pleasantly surprised, and knew that this was going to be a perfect experience. Katie, immediately offered to provide a box to transport my new plants home safely. Very kind and sweet, I know they're trained to be uber friendly, but this interaction hit differently, in the best way. I think I'll name the Orchid after her. read more

This TJ's has expanded lately and, has probably helped keep Everett mall alive! The previous location had the worst parking lot, but so happy they move and got more space! They've always had a wonderful selection of snacks and food! This location gets packed in the evenings and Sundays, so beware! They have a wonderful and fast working staff though! Tina is the best!! She deserves ten stars, she's THAT awesome. She has energy, enthusiasm and so much love. You can totally tell she loves her job. And that energy + her laugh = a totally uplifting experience. Now, about TJ's and the shopping experience; I always find funky snacks, treats and spices. So much goodness. I am so happy after each shopping trip, with my grocery bag full of some funky (try the Birds Nest in the frozen food section -- you're welcome) OH yeah, I also so recommend their popcorn with herbs and spices. This stuff really should have a warning label, because it's so addictive! Oh, before I forget, they brought back samples!! This is a quick one-but some of the kindest and friendliest staff ever. I was running to catch a Thanksgiving flight and had to grab a couple of special Trader Joe's-only items to take with me. The first of three stops for my morning adventure Saturday 14 May 2022 was the Everett Trader Joe's. In my experience, different Trader Joe's have different greeting cards, so I decided to travel a little farther to this Trader Joe's to see what they had. The greeting cards were shelved on the wall next to breads/baked goods inside and to the right of the entrance of the store. The offerings were not too numerous, however I managed to find perfect fits for three upcoming occasions. Each card cost 99¢ pre-tax. For the three cards with tax, the total was $3.26. Quite a deal compared to other stores where one individual card can run a bill closer to $5. read more

I absolutely love Trader Joe's. They don't have some of the modern conveniences that the mega-grocery-stores have like curbside pickup. If they did, I'd probably visit 2-3x more often. This one has all the same issues as other TJ's - small parking lot, small aisles, etc... but it's just what you expect and the trade off is worth it. They always have new, interesting stuff - like on my last trip I got Mochi Pancake mix and Brookies (brownie + cookie baked together as one thing). Just... interesting and you can rely on stuff to be tasty. Their cheese section is amazing - and everything's reasonably priced. Their salsa is a major standout for me - definitely a staple in our house. I don't even know how it's so good, but I could practically sit and eat a whole bag of tortilla chips in one sitting with that stuff. The frozen section is a highlight, too - chicken tacos and orange chicken are our staples, but everything is solid. read more

I shop at this Trader Joe's often. It had been a while but this morning I came here because I was perusing local brunch places and saw a $16 avocado toast. I wanted something brunchy, but I refuse to pay $16 for a slice of bread and some guac, so I jumped in the car and found myself making a quick grocery run on a sunny Sunday morning. Like any TJ's this one has a good selection of cute plants and floral arrangements, lots of GF and dairy-free options, and all the tasty prepared and prepackaged snacks and quick meals that make a Whole30 dieter cry in their homemade almond milk. Rather than avocado toast, I purchased ingredients for a hoity toity GF bagel with micro greens, thinly sliced onion, dairy-free Bousin spread, and smoked salmon. I also scored some cheese-flavored potato chips (which the funny and friendly cashier said she'd have to do a quality control check on during her break), and some ridiculously cheap eggplants and spaghetti squash. The only reason I don't come here as often as the Co-op is because I can't resist their packaged foods, and I'm trying to cut back on the sweets. But on days that I can control myself (and deal with how busy this location gets), this is a great option for cheap, quality groceries. Pro tips: visit during off hours, park far away from the front door, and exit through the correct (southern-most) driveway to avoid an accident! read more

We've been cooking A LOT more at home since the pandemic started and Trader Joe's has been one of my main go-to's for groceries. They have great produce! They also have some amazing frozen entrees that are so easy to make and so delicious. A couple of our favorites are the Orange Chicken and Truffle Flatbread. They have a wonderful cheese section that updates with seasonal items regularly. There are SOO many snacks throughout the entire store and you really can't go wrong with any of them. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. If there's an item I've been looking out for, we can ask someone at the front and they'll do their best to give us an ETA or if they won't be getting it. This store is small and it can get very busy at times so bring your patience. The parking lot is also a complete nightmare so again, bring your patience. read more

Cramped parking lot. Rude drivers and customers. Not much I can bring home to the REAL Hawai'i, not the purloined TJ fantasy Hawaii. If you're gonna appropriate the plastic, ticki tacki [sic] version of the culture, the least TJ's can do is open a store in Hawai'i nei. Been here before on other trips to see friends, but August 1, 2022, was rather unpleasant. Left my shopping cart by the registers to grab some TJ shopping bags, the primary acquisition on my list. Returning to use the cart, found some entitled had taken it. Saw her later with the cart, recognizable by the odd way the child seat belt was twisted around the framework. Yeah, talking about you, big blondie. You couldn't bring in a cart with you as I did? Had to go back outside to get another cart, leaving the bags on a shelf near the customer service pulpit. The better to surveil customers? Even more annoying than all that was retracing my steps to see some older male cashier leave his station to stand on the sales floor glaring at me. Why? Did he think I was running off with $4 worth of plastic and cloth bags. Or maybe I wasn't supposed to leave my cart by his register? He could have pointed out that someone was using that cart, but guess not. I glared back. I may be in my 70s, but no clerk is intimidating this military veteran. There is no customer service anymore. Yet it's the one business asset that costs virtually nothing but goes a long way towards customer satisfaction. Instead of one star, rated this two stars for the cashier LJ on Till #3 @ ~ 1500 who eventually wrung up my four items. He was pleasant, while also efficient, in contrast to co-workers and other customers. One thing I learned on active duty was to recognize and reward good behaviors and correct the not-so-good actions. Works. Couldn't get out of there fast enough, only to discover that the fruit I bought was pretty tasteless. There are countless TJs in this area. Some have to be better. read more

Disappointed in this Trader Joe's. It first of all has horrible access and parking. Second of all it is super small. They have very little product. This store has been updated in 20 years. I've been shopping at Trader Joes everywhere more often, I was never a frequent trader joe's person but lately i can't get enough of their tziziki sauce , hummus, and Indian flatbread! I've been trying out new ciders as well and have found some really great options here that all my friends have liked. This was my Trader Joe's. It has been my TJs since I moved to Washington and in that time it's gone from a nice place to shop with fun and friendly staff to a shadow of its former self. Covid is causing havoc everywhere, I get that, but the last couple of times I've been in store, the people have been not only cold and unfriendly but dismissive of my concerns. One incident that comes to mind is when I saw a Karen waking around. I asked her to cover up and she stated daggers at me, so feeling like I had my space invaded I went to the front desk and told them what was going on. This was July and well into their mandatory mask wearing rule. I was told by the staff that they wouldn't enforce it and that there's nothing they can do. This is the store that had two people sick with Covid which resulted in the store being shut down for a deep clean and decontamination and yet the staff/management were absolutely okay with not enforcing government directives and allowing the possibility of the virus spreading. There have been other incidents but this is the one that has stopped me from shopping here. (I shop every two weeks to minimise my time in store as I am unemployed and without healthcare so every time I go out I take a risk which is made worse when staff won't do anything.) My review is two stars because of Steven and Margaret, otherwise it would be one, given the stores response to me in this uncertain time. (Edit: adding the following statement and a tldr. If you don't want to wear a face covering then stay home and get delivery. For those who claim medical issues - 1. The treatment for low oxygen is for people to put a mask on you and 2. You can be asked what's wrong with you as it's not a violation of HIPPA law which applies for employees and not shoppers who, 3. Can be refused service at any time.) TL;DR: staff refusing to enforce the law putting shoppers at risk while dismissing any concerns raised. read more

I am a big fan of Trader Joe's and because there are many Trader Joe's in US, I don't want to be repetitive. Ok I love coming here is because their prices are reasonable and at times I would consider them cheap or at least better prices coming from some places like Vancouver BC. I love getting their organic soup. Especially the Roasted Tomato. Not to mention they have some really good variety on snacks like chips etc. Oh not to forget their ice cream. My chief complaint is the parking lot and how busy it gets. I usually go early if possible to avoid this. Used to love this Trader Joe's but after reading the previous review about the Karen not wearing a face mask and the staff doing 0 things about it makes me feel unsettled. A few weeks ago I was shopping here and I pulled my mask down for literally a second to adjust it because my hair was getting in the way and immediately an employee came up to me stating " face masks need to be on at all times " fair enough. But when I observed him watching other shoppers walking around with their masks hanging from their ears or half way on, it started to feel like he targeted me for my young age and color. He never approached the middle age male with his mask off. If you're going to enforce mask wearing, please make it an equal enforcement & not just the tan woman shopping alone. read more

This is probably the worst TJ's I've been to. I couldn't find anything that I usually get from other location. What makes it worse is the staff. They're too busy chit-chatting with each employee and don't care about customers. They act like they're in a college dorm. Especially the one named Megan. Since I couldn't find the item I was looking for, I asked her where I could find it while she was stocking. She just pointed a nearby spot where she thought it may be saying "I think it's there". I looked there but it wasn't there. She didn't bother look around for other places or ask other staff. If it's other grocery stores (even the Safeway), they'd try to locate the item for me and find out whether it's out of stock or no longer available. But not this store, no. She just went on with her chatting with staff and back to stocking. I will never go to this store. read more

Once in awhile I shop at this location. I eat Atkins/Fatkins/keto (from 30 to 100 grams of carbs per day) and Trader Joe's makes it easy for me including on my once or twice per month cheat days. I am down 11.5 pounds thanks in part to Trader Joe's :) My staples here are the eggs, half-n-half, zucchini, raspberries, romaine lettuce, frozen green beans, rib eye @ $8.99 per pound (Costco rib eye is $10.99 per pound), chicken sausages, and their packaged Greek salad. I also like their organic ketchup. They also have public restrooms which is nice. I love Trader Joe's but one thing I wish they would add is locations for their brother store Aldi which is much cheaper and has a great selection of eggs, vegetables, Greek yogurt, heavy cream, German chocolates (for cheat days), and organic food at a better price than Trader Joe's. Hoping they open locations in Everett, Lynnwood, Kirkland, Seattle, and beyond. Please open up Aldi locations in the Pacific Northwest. read more

I love Trader Joes. I love it here in WA state. I love it in other states I visit. Yes, the place is small and the parking lot is a massive PTSD trigger. But most of the staff are friendly, hard working and always available. The food is reasonably priced and I love that there are always new items. I ESPECIALLY LOVE that they are following the mask mandate and require masks to be worn, and individually clean each cart before giving it to you. It is worth it to drive past the sketchy QFC and make the trip to Trader Joe's because I know I will be getting good food, good service and won't have to bag the stuff myself!! read more

Not super impressed with this location. They had a packaged chicken salad with a hair inside that you could clearly see through the container, we brought it to a staff member and they took it and thanked us. We ended up buying a truffle cheese wedge to eat on our picnic later in the day and before opening it, we saw a bright green mold spore on it. When it was being scanned, the label ripped off so we weren't able to reference the expiration date... but still why was this even out there to buy in the first place? We also bought a bag of limes and when we got home to use them (the same day), most of them were very clearly going bad and I had to throw out some due to half of them being extremely soft and dark brown. There were also packages of mixed fruit (pineapple, grapes, melon, etc.) that looked days old and probably sat there for a while. Quality control is definitely lacking there. read more
