I was looking for Sanrio and Tokidoki merch. It was a limited selection of a few trinkets. However, there were plenty of BTS and LINE friend merchandise. I got cable ties, sticky notes and file folders. This Daiso location caters to more practical items, not so much licensed characters and gifting items. I went two times and the second time I asked for the bathroom they said they don't have bathrooms! They in fact have two bathrooms for customers with changing tables.

There is a lot of knickknacks. There are toys, housewares, beauty products, snacks and candy. There is a little bit of clothes. It looked like the largest size was XXL. There was no checkout aisle with a person. There are only self checkout. It looks like there is a desk where someone might sometimes be for online pickup, but no one was there. When I entered, it looked like there was someone checking receipts but no one checked ours when we left. I see a bunch of jam and broken glass on the floor. I hailed a worker and showed her the mess. I left the shopping cart over the mess so no one else would get near the mess. I see a bunch of reading glasses ( so grab them too ) right n and head to the gal at the register. She grabs the items and starts with her spiel about credit card and 10 percent discount for applying. I tell her NO THANK YOU several times so I interrupt her and say I need to add this bag. ( the ones they sell for $1 ) and this is weird because she is all snarky and rude and literally slammed the jar of olives into the bag, and it almost sounded like the olives were going to break the glass . She tossed in the tin box of tea and the glasses. She then snarled at me again about the card reader and if I want a receipt. She's so rude. She doesn't even explain what I'm to do . I finally put on my reading glasses to read the screen about email or print receipts. I poke the print button while she is rolling her eyes to the back of her head. I almost thought about returning the items right then and there. Im still confused about the attitude there was no reason to be rude. I was so nice. I don't go there very often maybe once a year but I can tell you right now. I won't be back to that store at all. When you think about it, people who shop there or paying her wages being rude to the customer that's not good. You just lost my business.

An email was sent stating these were ready for pickup. I left work early to pick up the items, thinking it would be a great surprise to show up with the gifts. I used my VA card and went into the store to pick up the items. Once inside, an employee acting as the Exchange CEO told me they needed some type of confirmation from a higher up in Virginia before I could pick the items up. They were paid for, switched to ready for pickup, and now told something completely ridiculous. I called the 877 NEX number once I returned to my car. They told me on the phone they have never heard of such a store policy. They called my Mother the next day and said they needed to verify the account, which they had done twice before. At this point, the actions seem targeted, and just like Navy Federal, I have no confidence that this is NOT racially motivated discrimination. Once she verified, they said they would call the store for next steps. I called the store, and they asked what happened with the call, as if no one called them. I told them to immediately cancel the order. No longer interested in ever shopping at this location. As a veteran myself, this was the most unprofessional behavior and attitude I have ever experienced. Completely rude and arrogant people at this location, and definitely biased against certain customers. I did file a complaint with NEX, and will be filing one with BBB. Do not waste your time trying to be nice or plesant with these folks. Save yourself some stress and order and pickup at Ft Lewis, Bangor, or Bremerton.

Having to use the women's fitting room because the men's is closed all the time is inconvenient. A friendly reminder: being friendly to customers always matters!
