Pharmacist "Do" could care less. Very poor customer service…read more Another CVS pharmacy transferred two prescriptions. I arrived about 60 minutes after it was called in. When I arrived I waited in a longer than normal line to get service. When it was my turn I was told only one of the 2 prescriptions was filled. They had no record of the second one. The clerk transferred me to the pharmacist who searched further on the computer and found it. He said it was "lost in the system". It needed to be filled. I said ok I'll be patient. Then he said come back in 40 minutes because he was closing the pharmacy for lunch. I said I have perishables inside the car and it's 98 degrees outside. He said "I'm sorry, come back in 40 minutes." Now you would think if this was my fault or I arrived just at lunch time to have a prescription filled I could understand waiting around. But it wasn't my fault. You would think he would have taken 5 minutes to fill the lost prescription rather making me wait 40+ minutes with perishables inside the car. Very poor customer service.

The tech got me checked in, got the meds out of the cooler and notified the Pharmacist, and instructed me to take a seat. While waiting only 2 people approached the counter. At 8:45 I informed the person who had checked me in, an asked how much longer. She spoke with the pharmacist in form it would be about 10 more minutes before he could do my injection. I informed that I would not continue to wait, and would get my vaccination elsewhere. They require an appointment to receive a vaccination, but then expect you to wait indefinitely after arriving early.

I have been bringing my pharmacy business to the Dana location since Target opened…read more I have observed the service level go down and down with long lines and one cash register open, and their closing for lunch policy, in the last couple of years. CVS emailed me a survey, to take of how they did on my last pickup. I answered their questions honestly referencing my complaint listed above. Yesterday I received a call from the manager referencing my negative comments. She said when people leave negative reviews it reflects on the local staff, and that my complaints were not in their control. She said the closing at lunch is a corporate decision to be good to their employees so they call all go to lunch together. I asked her what other businesses do that, and commented that I thought a business is supposed to value their customers, and put the customers convivence first. She told me nothing was going to change, and that it appeared to her that I would never be happy at that location. Funny I was for like 30 years? She suggested that I take my business elsewhere so that is exactly what I put in motion this morning. I'm not going to continue to give my business to a business that does not appreciate if they have you as a customer or not. In summary CVS has no interest in improving their service to their customers. I was told by their management, if you do not like it, take your business someplace else. So I did.

I haven't needed substitutions for my dog food. (They were consistently out of stock at my previous location). So, considering my situation, It was a nice change. On a different note, my in-store experiences were less enjoyable. I tried to buy an inexpensive phone because mine was stolen. I still can't get it activated and it was supposed to be activated at the register. Also, it was my second time around with the same phone, because the first time was incomplete. Although I entered the store with more than 50% battery power, I soon discovered that it was draining quickly because of a malware problem. However, during checkout I was transferred from the phone counter to the front of the store because they were about to close. So, at 4% bp I had to waste the majority of what was left traveling to the front of the store. But once I reached the register, I was advised to turn off the phone while I was being rung up a second time. When I turned it on again, I was unable to get to the wallet on my phone in time to make the purchase and they kicked me out instead of helping me. So, in my opinion, they were part of the problem rather than the solution and didn't meet their responsibility to make it right. I believe It would have been better if the first guy had been more helpful and less concerned about his own issues with time management or whatever. In conclusion, I don't, like some of the employees who are here. But I do like that I am able to feed my doggy. To me that's the highest priority. Pettiness is better left to the less competent crowd.

I guess there was the time we had trouble getting the twins the same med when they were babies and couldn't at first because they have the same birthday. Before and after that, I can report weekly positive experiences. My elderly mother was on several meds and they got it right. Dane for the rest of the family. Problems were usually solved within five minutes and for sticky problems, I got in Yvonne's line. The woman is a magician. If I needed a med for Mom, she made it happen (unless it was in the doctors end but even then she got it done ASAP). You don't many people like her. Of course she often isn't working and the others are good, too. I appreciate that the retail section is best and clean. It's better stocked than many other drugstores and if I see it on their website or app and it's supposed to be at this location, it almost always is. Again, unlike their competitors. At this location I am shears greeted at the door. People are helpful. I wanted a tiny tube of Vaseline for my lips once and an employee walked the store with me, checking five location as well as digging through the inventory in the back. I'm sure issues emerge with about-to-be-fired staff or others having a bad day. People steal items so it's incorrectly listed on the app. Compared to other stores, this CVS is leaps and bounds ahead.

This north Redding location of Raley's Pharmacy is not my usual place I get my prescriptions, but I…read morewas headed up the 5 to Oregon and I need something, so I phoned in the order the day before. I'd really like it if they had an online system to manage my orders, like Walmart has. But Raley's already had this one prescription, so it was just easier than doing a transfer. One thing I don't like about Raley's Pharmacy is the hours. They don't open till 10am and like Walmart opens at 9am and even on Sundays, where Raley's closes on Sunday. No biggie, just deal with it. There was a small line when I arrived, but it went OK. No problem customers with tons of dumb questions that the poor pharmacy tech can't answer, like what your doctor is thinking or some crazy stuff. I get my order no prob and they have all my insurance stuff there, so off I go. I'm lucky this location was easy access off the 5 and back on again. If you need groceries, or like I did, some road snacks, you can get it there, but you need to pay for that stuff at the regular check out.

The doctor informed me he was sending the prescription to Anderson RX. I was on my way to Anderson to pick it up unsure if being so late, it would be filled that night. Not even five minutes later, I received a call from Anderson RX reminding me they were closing soon. When I arrived they were very friendly, even being so close to their closing timeframe I received my prescription. First pharmacy who looked up our insurance information and updated it without us having to provide new cards. Walgreens will not do that! Anderson RX is by far the best! We drive from Redding just to go to there, it's worth the drive for the service.
