How many times I went. I never get all the items, , I hate to go this walmart, ,, staff very rude,, never get

This is a review of their Marketplace. I had been warned numerous times by my mother who also had terrible experiences to be wary of shopping online at Walmart, especially for Walmart Marketplace items which you cannot return to store. I came across a top that I loved initially that was a Marketplace item and decided to take the risk, not having had any issues with Walmart returns of any kind personally in the past. The item arrived with not a single tag on it (size tag, care tag, price tag, NOTHING) and in usual Walmart style, not strictly Marketplace, without a order receipt. That I wasn't surprised about since it has been that way since day one of my experience with any online Walmart orders. In trying to return the item as it was very ill-fitting, I try to submit the return request online as it had prompted me to do only to do so with no success. In going to the store, they provided me the company info for Starvnc LLC who the item came from. I reached out to Starvnc LLC via email and was told what an inconvenience it was going to be for them if I returned the item and was offered either to exchange it or receive a 60% refund. Really? When I angrily replied requesting a prepaid return label and my full refund as when I ordered the item it stated I had until November 29th to do so, I got no response. I tried to reach out via phone only to have it go to a voicemail that was not set up! While angrily writing email #2, a call kept coming in from a different number. 5 times they called and I finally answered expecting it to be spam. NOPE! It was the company with a 925 area code versus the 307 one listed for them online at Walmart. The lady returning my call did nothing to help other than take my email down again and say she had to report it to her supervisor AFTER IT HAD CLEARLY ALREADY BEEN DONE WITH MY OTHER PREVIOUS EMAILS! No names, nothing was given throughout any portion of my contact with Starvnc LLC either... quite sketchy if you ask me. The return email I got after this encounter also asked me to confirm that the item itself was indeed from the company. How is one supposed to do that when their are no tags or receipts? Better yet, Starvnc LLC was able to look up my order and see it was with them when given the order number over the phone, so asking me to "prove" it was theirs was quite irrational and unnecessary. I am still fighting with Starvnc LLC on this issue, but be wary with Walmart Marketplace. The companies on it are completely unprofessional, useless, and have no regard for customer service in the slightest. I wouldn't waste your time with any portion of it. Walmart will be getting a notice as well from me because the fact that they let this happen to customers and attach their name to the service is disgraceful as well. read more

Terrible ,Terrible, Terrible ,Terrible ,Terrible. Not just this location ,but corporate market managers for that area.They don't care about the customers. While many of the staff were very helpful and polite, I had an incident in customer service with two particularly mean spirited employees, one named Joyce, who, hung up on my mother in the middle of her sentence. What she didn't know was that I heard the entire exchange as I was speaking to my mother on the land line, while she was on the cell phone. She then proceeded to turn around and talk about her to a different coworker. When I said to her "that was my mother you hung up on" she simply said "I don't care who she was, I didn't have time for her" and walked away, when I asked for her name and her manager she simply ignored me and hid her name tag. The second lady, a short haired older African American lady whose name I didn't catch, while still helpful, was also extremely rude, often cutting me off and not letting me finish voicing to her the issues I was in the store to, and refusing to let me Speak to a manager because she would "tell me The same thing". All in all it was a terrible experience and I felt as if these customer service reps felt they could treat people however they wanted with no repercussions. read more

I do not enjoy going to this walmart. They don't have enough cashiers. I waited like forever to get my things around the busiest time of the day, they only had 2- 3 lanes open. I'm not the type of person who likes to wait in lines. So if you enjoy lines you will love this walmart. read more

Tonight I officially decided to never go back to this Walmart again. Numerous times of disgusting filth and out of stock items. The parking lot... and even inside of the store seem like a hang out for the local riffraff. It seems only logical that the customer service desk would be strict on returning items but when I purchased ink that was sealed in the box that had clearly been replaced with used counterfeit ink it took nearly an hour to convince the manager that I was not the criminal in this situation. I could really never buy anything in this store BUT ESPECIALLY PRINTER INK. When I called customer service the kid on the phone did not seem surprised that the sealed box had faulty ink in it. He even explained to me the process which the thief probably used to replace the ink. He offered to transfer me to a manager where I was then transferred back and fourth around the store. Til I called back and got the rudest person in existence on the phone. Overall, I just can't stand this place anymore. read more

While shopping at this location I lost my Fit bit Flex. I called to see if anyone had turned it in and they said yes it was. Turns out it was some kind of fitness tracker but not my Flex. I walked the entire with my fit bit app open to see if I could locate it, and I did find it on the wrist of a cashier!!!!! He said I didn't know what I was talking about and it was his etc... The manager said they would call me after reviewing the security tapes. I called the police and because both of our phones synced with the flex nothing was done. His phone synced because he added my device to his phone!!! read more

this place continues to disappoint. i go for the value, but leave feeling like i should have gone to target. next time, i will. the items are poorly stocked, it is hard to find an english speaking clerk for help and the cashier i had today, refused to remove his "hoodie" even when the mgr quietly motioned for him to . he made a big deal about how he didn't want to and was so distracted over it, he forgot to give me 2 of my bags. i had to go back and retrieve them. there was no eye contact or even a thank you. bye bye walmart.. read more

Came into this Walmart just to get call of duty and waited for twenty five minutes for them to send someone to open the case and then longer to find a key to the case. Then when buying the game they charged my card twice and then tried to give us a gift card for the money lost. Super rude and also no one speaks any English. Very dirty facilities too. read more

Walmart began with its new "pick -up " program. and I said ok we will try , order something online and the only store that had available my items what a looking was in this , I put it in order my stuff and I got the email telling me that was going to be ready after 7:00 pm which I saw very convenient . Drove 35 minutes since I live in Chicago area and I came to the store and there was a sign and said have notify a employee when you are in the area so they can give to you the items you ordered .. Press the bottom to telling them that I'm in the store . try about 5 times and nobody appears, after 35 minutes trying , I had to go to customer service since no one appeared and a employee said she was going to report that I'm ready , after a bad time, waste my time appear 7 employees of nowhere when generally only I needed one person 35 minutes before . Bad, bad , bad service.. to this kind of place I ever not do my shopping again , bad service and bad experience I had, I would not recommended. read more

I would give 0, if I could. The worst experience trying to get my car oil changed. Rude manager John, told me "We would like it if you wouldn't come here anymore" when I complained the worker almost put the wrong oil in my car. Incompetent worker, Eugene, almost put the wrong oil in my car and gave me attitude afterwards for asking more questions. And Zone manager Gail, totally aloof of the situation. I will take the Manager John's advice and never shop here again. read more

I have been coming here for well over a year now. Every time I go there are pretty much only 2 lanes open with about 7 people waiting to pay and more coming. They always seem to have the cash register lanes understaffed. So it takes forever to pay. Not mention self check-out has a bigger line. I try my best to avoid coming here unless it's necessary. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! The worst of all is the Pharmacy. Rude staff that do not do their job. Constantly lie that they sent the prescription request to the doctor. I've never had any problems with Walgreens, or other Walmart pharmacy's but this one takes the lead in the worst staff and service. Never never never again! read more

I went to purchase a bottle of wine and when I went to check out my card was declined. I realized I had lost my debit card so left the bottle there and let them know that I'd need to figure out alternative arrangements. I did so, returned to the register and paid for the bottle of wine. I was then apprehended by security. There are several simple determinations of whether or not it was purchased. We can look at the camera which he denied doing or check the transaction history. Also denied. He clearly did not like that I was requesting objective evidence, kept suggesting I just admit that I did it (obviously trying to build a case). These are the types of folks who coerce adolescents into incarceration through manipulation. Based on the video game collection in his tiny little office, it likely alleviates his insecurities. Regardless, just terrible customer service. Used to shop there all the time. Won't know. Reflected in their decreasing stocks, which he was also unaware of. read more

I made an account just to leave a review and trust me I don't normally leave a review like this. The worst customer service run by the same idiotic manager/lazy workers and the most unpleasant experience in my entire life. In particular, people working in the auto department were extremely rude, inefficient, and had no concept of even half-decent work ethics or whatsoever. One cold morning in January, I was there early morning to get an oil change. I got there early to avoid waiting in line but the door wasn't even open on time and when there was a lazy, dumb girl inside taking her sweet-ass time after she already got there late. When I finally knocked on the door, without even looking up, she raised her index finger signaling me to hold on although she saw me outside the door when she first got there. So I waited and waited for full ten minutes in the cold outside the door while she continued to ignore my presence. By this time, I was already pissed waiting 10+ minutes in the freezing temperature. When the door was finally open, instead of an apology, I was greeted by a rather angry assistant manager who claimed they were trying to find a key to open the door. So I explained to him that all she had to do was to walk up 10 ft from where she was standing when she first saw me and tell me she didn't have a key to open the door instead of ignoring me and making someone wait in the cold. Instead, they argued that they were busy and it wasn't their fault at all. I still decided to get my oil change but here is the real kicker. The same incompetent assistant manager also told me in a very condescending tone if I was looking to get a discount out of all this and walked away. A $4 off out of $40 service? Furthermore, he intentionally delayed opening the garage door for another 20 minutes by disappearing when there were already workers inside. By this time, I ran out of my patience wasting almost an hour of my precious time when these lazy workers absolutely did nothing but continue to aggravate me on purpose. One guy even threatened me that he didn't want to "hurt" me?!?!?! Things don't usually bother me but I had to report these people to Walmart headquarter. These minimum wage workers certainly don't have a brain how to do their jobs properly, have absolutely zero common sense, and also extremely rude to their customers. How could a big chain store run like this? This isn't the first time I had unpleasant experience at Wal-Mart. They often have no price tags or wrong price scanned in and when you bring this up, instead of an apology, they will get mad and yell at you for holding up a line. This is exactly why retailers like Walmart are losing battles with online retailers like Amazon who value their customers. Will never go back to Wal-Mart again. read more

Awful! A dirty store and rude employees. I walked out and it was raining with an elderly lady and the guy was vacuuming instead of stopping to vacuum and let the 90-year-old woman out he decided to ask us to walk the long way Absolutely horrible no longer be shopping at this Walmart. Instead of letting an elderly Lady walk out in the rain the easy hey for her the route employee asked her and others to go out the other door. All he had to do was turn off the vacuum for one second. Why would anyone be vacuuming at 4 o'clock On a Sunday not allowing people quick access to their car when it was raining. Ridiculous. If it was just me I wouldn't care but that poor lady. Oh and Walmart has definitely raised their prices but not improved the quality of food. You get better service and better quality food for the same price or cheaper now at better grocery stores. Give yourselves a chance and try a new place you'd be surprised by competitor prices. Walmart is no longer the cheapest. read more

Came over to vision center to get a box of contacts, instead i got an uneducated, no english, no spanish speaking person so as their management. One would ask themselves, how many grades of school one needs to complete to even be able to get to minimun wage level?? Anyways they told me they no longer sell contacts over the counter and you have to order them to be delivered to their house!! What kind of business is that? When I asked why, they said it's the governor and if I have a problem with that I can take it up with him. Then I asked if it's just walmart or all Vision businesses are under that law? The responce was that the whole chicagoland is not allowed to sell contact, they need to be mailed!?! After keeping me there for half an hour, I asked to get a trial pair of contacts, they said that they would not give them to me. The reason was that I did not see the doctor that was in their location. So they send me blind without any contacts to get to a different location where my doctor was. Great job guys!! Keep it up and I hope your business does well since with such great people working there you will grow very quickly!! But who knows, may be they have too many customers... . IF it were possible to give ZERO stars, I would 100 times over! Today was the breaking point for me. Not only is this the most un-kempt Walmart in the surrounding area, it employes the RUDEST and UNPROFESSIONAL employee's. My REPEATED issue is with the Pharmacy, after picking up my last prescription today (it is the only one that I have not transfered to Walgreens) I officially decided to never go back to this specific Walmart location again. I called the pharmacy only to be put on hold for over seven minutes and dissconnected! I called again in the later afternoon SIX times, because the 5 times previous the phone was picked up and then hung up. When I finally got ahold of someone he spoke so fast that I could not understand his English, and when I asked if a prescription was ready he said no. When I hung up and called my Dr to follow up - they said to double check with the Pharmacy. Upon my follow up the same man answered telling me "Oh ya, I must have missed that. You didnt ask for the prescription by name so I didnt know you were looking for that one" - I told him that I have complained about the rude customer service in the Pharmacy many times before and he said "Ok, well what do you want me to do about it" I give up. If you are reading this review - DO NOT Go to this Walmart. Overall terrible and never stocked. IN ADDITION BEWARE CREDIT CARD USERS My card always comes up Declined here. But when they RERUN IT it says "Approved" SOMETHING SHADY IS GOING ON HERE! Another location 5 miles away in Lake Zurich ... Good Luck! read more
