Visited Hadley Walmart. I usually shop at Chicopee or Westfield. I was surprised that everything for the most part is clean and organized. I came searching for a portable dvd player & I was able to find what I was looking for at a decent price along with some other things. I seen some mixed reviews but i feel Walmart is a different experience for everyone you love it or hate it. I gave four stars for not being sure about the parts of the store I didn't see. read more

Just got home from Wmart. I shop 3 times a week. Tonight, needed tomatoes. I know, a boring subject. Hear me out. Tomatoes said 92 cts each!..what!!! Called a manager over. .. he was struggling!! He said it should be by the pound. People were paying $1 for every tomato. He quickly changed the sign and wandered off,, . I know I sound petty. For those who care about such things, this is not a full Walmart Supercenter. They have a limited grocery section with no produce, meats or dairy. You can pick up a few bits here but not a full shop. They do have electronics, housewares, sporting goods, toys and such. The restroom was surprisingly clean. This store does not allow overnight parking. There are clear "two hour parking only" signs. Purchased a microwave. Online price--indexed to this store was clear for that day. Drove to store. The price on the shelf was more expensive. Went to the register--the self check person saw what I showed on the website--was willing to match price. The supervisor came over and said the price was for Hartford. I explained the phone wasn't working. Paid more, went to car, got Hadley up w/ the correct price (showing at ALL Walmarts). Customer service lady was rude--despite receipt , she had me bring the unit back in--scans it with her instore scanner--shows me the shelf price. I show her my store showing Hadley---at lower price. Took 15 minutes of arguing--Why would I drive there, based on advertised price for Hadley store and pay more. I tell her I just went through all this at the register. Was told if I showed Hadley I would have had the lower price, now I show Hadley I can't get the price. Person (at 6pm Sunday 4/10/22) at customer service, finally refunds the original. Charges me for the new one at reduced price--then after so much rudeness wishes me a good day. This was not a price match, it was an advertised price for a specific store. read more

It's a Walmart. You won't be surprised. The store is clean. They have what you want 99% of the time. The shelves are messy. (They always have my peanut butter but the shelf is 1/2 full.). BUT they took out most of the checkout registers. Usually only 1 is open. They put in about 6 self service registers. Another store that makes you do their work. Home Depot is just as bad. Target is almost as bad. I go there about once per month to buy the staples. And I stand in line at the 1 register. Everytime you use the self service you are putting someone out of a job. read more

For a Walmart, I think this one has the cleanest restrooms. Which isn't really saying much because every time I'm there and need to change my daughter's diaper, nasty people shove their used ones into the diaper changing station.....when there's a trash RIGHT NEXT TO IT. Gross. Staff is usually friendly here, only one or two cashiers have I ever had to deal with on off days. Good thing they've put in about 5/6 self scanners. This establishment is usually also on the neater side of Walmarts. Most things are organized and relatively where you're expecting to find an item. My sad fact of this one is there is no deli/fried food counter. I looove me some popcorn chicken and wedge fries as I shop. Call me weird but it makes me less hangry, and they're just plain good! When it's back to school season....stay away. PACKED full of kids and their parents. read more

While in Hadley we decided to stop in at Walmart to pick up a few items. The store was well packed with goods, but some of the aisles were disorganized. The staff here is typically pleasant, but what I have noticed is that the experience changes when school is in session. At times the check out aisles are long but that has changed a bit since they put in the self checkout section. Overall, not a bad Walmart, but it could definitely use better organization. Their are other better Walmart locations within driving distance. read more

Walmart is bad, according to a lot of people. Walmart is great according to the remaining people. I like Walmart. I'm a penny-pinching college student, and Walmart helps me live the best life I can as a college student. They have everything of everything, for a great price. I come to this Walmart AT LEAST twice a week, whether it's to buy last minute groceries, toiletries, pet services (bedding, treats, etc) or clothes (socks, socks and more socks). The cool part: There's a subway inside this Walmart that raffles a free $5 voucher once a week. Guess who won one a couple weeks ago? But in all seriousness, Walmart is cost-effective and has really helped my roommate and I out a lot (even though she is against Walmart to the end, and won't even walk into the store with me but will consume products from there that I bring to the house for us). And their photo department is quick, convenient, nice and prints out decent pictures from my digital camera! read more

I understand retail. I mean come on. Of course the store will be messy, during the "back to school" season. Students are slobs. If a store is short staffe don't blame it on the workers... Blame it on the CEO! Duh... Retail workers deserve more respect. Why do you think they always look tired. Retail is stressful, with shit pay. Worse experience at a Walmart in my whole life! So the shelves weren't even stocked correctly and the prices were all wrong for the items. One time I went to return an item and I sat in line for an hour watching an employee play on her phone the whole time. Then when I finally got to the front of the line they said that I could not even return the item. I noticed that the bread that I was buying was expired and when I brought this to an employee's attention they did not even do a thing. Then just recently I went and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. The reality is that the staff don't care, it is unsanitary, and overall a bad experience. There is a Target right across the street. Personally I think I'm done with Walmarts for a while. read more

This Walmart is smaller than many I've been to and not much of a grocery section. This location also did not have any furniture. So, the two things we were looking for on this trip to Walmart, this one didn't have. Too bad for us. We had to go looking elsewhere. read more

This got to be the worst store ever. They have the restrooms that had toilets paper all around the floors of the bathrooms. The toilets were nasty and full of trash. The store floors were very shiny that was only thing I noticed. But every dept was a complete mess and nothing was marked right. Shelves looked like they haven't been stocked in months. This is the worst store to have ever seen visiting....Walmart of Hadley is a store that should close. The Northampton Walmart is the best I have ever seen. Shelves are always bare never has anything you need clothes selection is horrible ... And the place always smells gross idk what's up with that subway but it is nauseating. They don't price anything ... If much rather deL with the crowds in noho or Chicopee who ever does the ordering for this store doesn't have a clue what they are doing! read more

One of the better Walmarts out of the bunch. Much less stress than other stores. Employees are still useless, but wasn't expecting much. Store seemed cleaner and more organized than others. It's still a breeding ground for "people of Walmart photo ops". read more

hi, was there last week had a full carriage of stuff got to the register and there was no one working there. we asked employee why at 815 in the morning why there wasn't a person at the register, response use the self check out, we left the carriage there and went to target , they will real busy and had a least 7 people working the registers, we are seniors and don't do self check out kinda like what read more
