I visited the Hadley store today. There were zero lanes with cashiers and the only way to check out was self check. I'm okay with this.... But all lanes had issues going on and needed assistance from the staff. Amanda a worker at the store was on her break and checking herself out, saw that there was so many people needing help. Stopped and helped everyone on her own time. What an amazing worker and she needs to be recognized for her dedication to this company. Wish there were more people that cared like her at any store around. Thank you Amanda for making my already bad day a little better. read more

This target location has been getting worse and worse. Ghram at customer service is terrible and will lie to your face. He does not value people or customers based on my two interactions with him. Plus they say the app is wrong and not to use it but they use it when I ask about an inventory question. The store manager Brie is doing her best. read more

Sat at the drive-up waiting for our order for 20 minutes. We were told that a bag was missing so it would be 5 minutes longer because someone would need to go pick the items again. The Hadley, Massachusetts Target has awesome employees, whether at the register lines, at the customer service counter, or on the floor in each department. They are always cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. The store has a nice layout with a decent selection and inventory, the store maintains a clean environment and the merchandise is displayed neatly on the shelves/ hangars. The sales are definitely an added bonus along with the red card discount. The Target app is easy to use. I enjoy shopping here and am able to find just about everything my family needs. read more

This Target could use a little TLC. Needs a deep cleaning and a few coats of paint. It was otherwise nice though as most Targets are. There's a Starbucks in the front and the restrooms were reasonably clean midday on a Saturday. I'm pretty sure this Target is located where the K-Mart used to be. This Target must be new since it wasn't listed on Yelp and I had to add the business. It's big, clean, and has everything you'd expect from a Target. We were in Hadley, so we stopped by this Target to buy some items (such as paper plates, sandwich bags, bread, etc.). I like this Target. People are friendly and helpful, so I'd definitely shop here again if I were close by. Hide and go seek. I like the place but I have given up. The shelves are empty most of the time. If they have it, it's pushed all the way back on the shelf and you don't see it. I asked for something and an employee said they have been out since before Christmas. 6 weeks? Go to a grocery store, they have it and you don't have to play hide and go seek. read more

This weekend, as we were in a rush looking for some jewelry and clothing, we decided to stop in at this Target location. We are so happy that we made this choice! When we walked in the place was busy, but the store itself was well organized and stocked. The jewelry section had a ton of different items as well, and my partner was able to find the right necklace to pull her outfit together. The other departments in the store were also great. We had fun quickly perusing their dollar section, clothing sections and we stopped in at the food department to stock our pantry. The staff here was really polite and the best part was that we didn't have to wait forever in a line to cash out. Sometimes during the school years the check out lines can be a little more grueling, but since the students are away it was just fine. Overall, great Target location with a ton of merchandise. read more

I had an AWFUL HORRIBLE experience at the Hadley Target . It was just about closing time when I left the store . After I got to my car , i realized I left my car keys inside the store at the cash register. I walked up to the main door.. the 2 employees at the customer service / order pickup desk saw me waving and yelling to them about my keys .. they completely disregarded that they saw me and walked away towards the back of the store . It was freezing and snowing out at the time & I had my 5 month old baby in my arms. I just wanted my keys so I could go home. So... I had to flag down the mall security car that was driving around the parking lot - they called Target a bunch of times (no answer)- so when they saw an employee walk by the door they knocked and asked them to let us in . Target employees also saw them and even ignored the 2 security officers ! They wouldn't even open the door for them !!! We had to call the actual Hadley police dept and have a cruiser come down . The security officer was nice enough to take a spare sweater she had in her car and cover my baby. She let him stay in her security vehicle while we waited to the Hadley police - the officers tried as best as they could to help me and were so caring . Im really grateful for them being there to help me . I can't believe this even happened - How ridiculous. This whole ordeal took about an hour and a half when all they had to do was hand me my keys right there at the cash register . Never will go to this location again read more

Yes, I am a fan. This location is the closest to my university. I love this location because they always have a sale or clearance of some sort that I could benefit from (i.e. frozen pizzas, dog treats, kitchenware, etc). Because it's located in the Hampshire Mall, it makes it convenient to shop here or use the bathroom while you're waiting for your movie to start or you're buying some drinks and snacks to sneak in to the movies. read more

After a rotten experience at an urgent care clinic it was all made water under the bridge by the warmth friendliness and knowledge of this Target's pharmacist! A really nice man, who was working without assistance and made me feel like I was the most important patient of his day. My prescription was ready in less than the ten minutes he promised and he even helped me pick out a nighttime cold and cough syrup like I was his daughter. The rest of the store seemed well stocked though the other staff were younger less interested in helping. Nonetheless, this pharmacy will be my go to one in Nee England! read more

I love target and usually stop weekly for water, cat litter, soap and other household stuff. You can't beat some of their deals. I like this location, because there's allot of other good places nearby like Trader Joes and Maple Farm foods. This target is pretty clean. My only gripe is that they have a habit of leaving old sale signs up, or putting up new sale signs a week prior to when they begin. They seem pretty unapologetic when you mention their sale signage mistakes. They act like "okay, so whatever". I once called about a sale sign mistake. After 10 minutes the girl looked to see if the sign was up. She acknowledged it was up and old, and said "oh yeah, that signs always up". I told her she might want to take it down, and she seemed completely oblivious as to why. read more

I bought a floor lamp that needed to be assembled. The assembly was missing one of its parts. I called the 800 number for Target and spoke with a fellow in Latin America whose English I could hardly understand (my Spanish isn't good enough to communicate in Spanish). He told me there was no way I could get the part and that Target doesn't support this product. All I could do was to return the item to the store for a refund, which I did, having spent an hour assembling the lamp before discovering that the crucial part, to be installed at the end, was missing. This is NOT a complaint about this particular store but and expression of my view that Target should not be selling product with missing parts and then tell buyers, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do about it except give you a refund." I am a fan of this Target because I came here very often for all my necessary college stuff. They have sales very often and has all the things I needed for my essentials and also to decorate my dorm/apartments. I usually took the college bus that went to this mall to stop by here when I didn't have a car. Sometimes when I had absolutely nothing to do on the weekends I come here to walk around and then end up buying some things that I may not necessarily need. I usually love target... I went to go buy a dog bed and things like that for my new puppy and get some new panties. One stop shop right? No, they had 4 dog beds and even less dog bowls. Not a huge deal... fast forward to the "intimates" section.... WHAT A MESS. I'm a small and in all the small sections I found 1 pair of small panties. The rest were thrown in larges and extra larges. Maybe they got confused so I start going to all the sizes looking and there was no organization at all! I was hoping to find something to buy so they could ask me at check out if I found what I was looking for but I was so irritated after a half hour of just looking for the right size (never mind something I like) I walked out. I understand people don't put things back where they're supposed to be but there were 3 different shelves, double sided, with sections to go through. Maybe they were low on inventory and spaced things out to make it seem like they had stuff. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love going to Target. I'm talking 2 or 3 times a week to get basic household supplies, gifts, groceries, just about anything I need! But man, this Target location pissed me off today (while the Holyoke Target came thru!) I pre-reserved the Disney Infinity 3.0 StarWars Starter Pack for my VERY excited 7 year old who has been saving his every cent and counting down the days. He could barely sleep last night there was so much excitement. The Target weekly ad cleary states this game was supposed to be released at 8am on Aug. 30. When I arrived at the Hadley Target at about 9am there was no sign of the product on the floor so I asked the team member in electronics. I believe she is a manager or higher up because I see her in electronics just about everytime I'm there. She had no idea what was up when I showed her my pre-registration card and didn't even look closely at it!! After awhile her and another team member said they were not unpacking and putting the product out until the movie is released (December??) but then he changed his story to them putting the game out on Friday 9/4. I said how Target was advertising the release for today and the team members offered no further help. Unfortunately I didn't have a paper ad to shove in their faces. The ad is pretty clear that this game was to be released today and a bunch of other starwars toys and products being released over the next month. I can't believe how ill informed and not helpful the electronics department was. I called the corporate office and they weren't any more help. 2 different people had 2 different stories about the release date. The Holyoke Target however seemed understand what was going on. They had the games on the shelves just like the target ad said on Sunday morning. Thank you Holyoke Target- I'll be going there from now on. read more

One of the associates said my kids needed some discipline after they ran down one of the toy aisles. He said this in a very rude way. I complained to the manager who never apologised and rolled his eyes at me. It took all my patience not to knock him out. I dropped my eggs on the floor instead. Screw you Target. I do NOT recommend ever shopping at Target in Hadley, MA. One of the employees approached me as I was shopping. The employee made me extremely comfortable when I was checking the expiration dates of the milk in the dairy section. I even felt threatened by the employee. After the aforesaid really horrible experience, I do NOT want to ever have anything to do, again, with both Target and Target.com. And, as a family, we will no longer purchase any of their products. DO NOT EVER BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM TARGET IN HADLEY! We purchased a General Electric microwave Model # JE51145DPWW from Target in Hadley for $84.00 with a one year warranty on 7/31/11. Last week, less than 7 months later the heating stopped working. We took it back to customer service last week, who said since the microwave has since been on sale for $27, they can only refund that amount, or we can get it repaired. They gave us the number for a GE technician to fix the microwave. We called the GE Consumer relations number 1-800-386-1215, gave them the model and serial numbers, and waited over the weekend until the technician could come on Monday. The technician, David Roberts, GE Technician # 263 came and upon examining the microwave informed us that this model of microwave can only be exchanged, not repaired, and that Target is bound legally to give us a replacement microwave. Today (2/15) we went back to Target in Hadley, where customer service refused to exchange the microwave, then proceeded to connect us with a computer repair number, before finally giving us the number for yet another repair company mytargettech. We have now spent over three hours trying to get Target to honor their responsibility to us, with our time being wasted through their mistakes, but with no apology. Target in Hadley does not value its customers except those who are lucky enough not to buy poor quality GE products, and obviously counts on other customers getting fed up and giving up on getting Target to honor its warranties. From now on we will only buy appliances from Home Depot or Loews, and we will tell everyone we know to STAY AWAY FROM HADLEY TARGET! read more
