The only thing really remaining from those days is the movie theater and the JC Penney and they have repurposed the space to be big box stores on the outside that are accessible from the street. I really didn't realize the mall was still contained within but I walked in an entrance and realized I was inside it. The photo shows the food court which you walked through to access the movie theater. Wow, I feel a little Stranger Things. I'm wondering what powers lurk behind or under this mall. It's a little creepy and a little nostalgic all at once. The food court took my breath away. Enjoyed my trip down memory lane.

It had been a while since we had last been here and when we entered the store we were surprised to see how much they had in stock. The store itself had a ton of items but some aisles were a bit disorganized. That being said, we found everything we wanted which was really exciting. The only issue that we have when we come to this particular location is that the checkout aisle are horrendous. Quite often we have to wait forever to check out which can be a pain. Where can you find golden milk! We will be back. Since we were in the Marketplace in Northampton, we discovered the Olive Oil vendor across from the cafe, and decided to do a tasting. We were treated with such hospitality, that what started as a whim, became a purchase. We actually loved the tastings of both the oils and balsamic vinegars, and decided to take advantage of the special so we got a bargain. I opted for the fig balsamic--my fav, and for the tasting, was delighted. It isn't as sweet as the ones I've had before, but it is acceptable. I do think I should try some others. We really enjoyed the shopping, tasting, and European feel of the whole Marketplace environment. It is a treat.

They have a wall full of "Slightly Out of Date" over the counter cold remedies and pain killers, cheap greeting cards, cheap Tee Shirts, cheap baseball caps, cheap school supplies, cheap socks and candy and sunglasses, and more varieties of masking tape than I ever knew existed.
