These chips and dip are great

This is the Trader Joe's I frequent when I'm in town visiting family. I get my usuals here but I find that this Trader Joe's is somewhat smaller and doesn't carry what I normally get in Florida. Could be a location thing but I still enjoy this location. The employees are very nice, even more so than where I normally shop. One thing I was happy to find here is the impossible ground "beef" which I quickly used to make burgers and my family didn't even realize it wasn't real beef. I also really enjoy their corn dipper chips and their delicious spanish style pepper dip (see pic) which happens to be vegan friendly. I love their seasonal items especially in the fall when they bring in pumpkin everything. My family really enjoys the pumpkin pancakes, and only 1.99 the box! I think their location is ideal as well. The Hampshire Mall is walking distance, and there's also a Walmart and several other eateries nearby.

I absolutely adore Trader Joe's. And this one has a special place in my heart, because this was the first one I ever set foot in. I used to run a territory out of our West Springfield office, and one day when I was driving to see a claim out near U Mass, I saw the Trader Joe's logo, stopped in and have been a big fan ever since. Today being Super Bowl eve, it was crowded, really crowded. But the people here are oh so chill and laid back. It's like Woodstock. The pushy carriage banging folks at the TJ's in West Hartford can learn a thing or two from their neighbors to the North. Trader Joe's carries a great low fat peanut butter I can only buy here -- so we got two jars. They have good prices on breakfast cereal with excellent nutritional stats. We got two bags of pot stickers, a few packs of smoked salmon, a pack of muffins, and a few jars of salsa. The quality here is always good. The selection is great. The vibe in the store and from the team members is sweet. Trader Joe's is a pleasure to visit, and I am definitely a fan.

Took pic as leaving. Wish I got an inside shot. Store is great.

Trader Joe's is doing it right. Not close to any stores so I stopped in to see what all the fuss is about. Was very impressed by the whole store. Produce was beautiful and affordably priced. Everything was we'll marked. The store layout was different, not good or bad, just different. Saving the best for last...the number one reason to do as much of your shopping as possible at TJ's is the staff. Not only were they super helpful to a newbie, they all looked genuinely happy to work there. We need more businesses like this.

I stopped in yesterday, 3/16/22, and they give me this BS story that all of the registers are down, except 2, but I can still download the app and also save ten dollars. People should seriously contemplate the kind of world we are moving in to, where we are all pawns lying to each other, to further enslave ourselves into the automated digital system. This type of system eliminates jobs, and feeds into the surveillance state, by tracking everything we are buying. Customers should be treated like people, as opposed to a commodity, where everyone's personal data is collected and sold off as a product. Now, if what I'm saying sounds a little crazy, let me ask you a question: In a nice world, do we flagrantly lie to people that registers aren't working, making people wait 30 minutes to check out of the store if they don't embrace your new technology? If this happens to you, and you care about living in a future where we still love each other, and treat people with real dignity and respect, I recommend shopping somewhere else. Don't allow the system to force you into their authoritarian nightmare world. Rather, you force them to be more caring about their employees and customers.

They did. So I came back a THIRD time and ordered it AGAIN, just to see if they can still keep their vegan cheese melted just right on top. It was incredible, AGAIN. Now that I've gotten this out of the way, ask where it is on their new menu as it is under revision--I don't like the tempeh version as much. Onto the rest of the atmosphere of Cushman. One of the most pleasant features of Cushman Market and Cafe is that it is nestled at an important corner in northeast Amherst. You need to travel further west to get to The Mill District and not much opens there early, and there's little else I can recall in the other cardinal directions. It's a pleasant trip, with plenty of parking in front, behind, and in a strip of side road across the street. I've never been in the market, so let me keep talking about the Cafe. The atmosphere of the Cafe is wonderful, with locals, safety officers, and regulars all visiting at each meal hour from breakfast to lunch. Nestled inside what looks like an old barn, complete with doors still hanging, Cushman has memorabilia from decades of music, sports, politics, and news frozen under acrylic, different for many of their tables. The café seems to have at most 20 chairs, and the staff behind the counter will deliver it to your table, call your name, or leave other orders by a stand near the back entrance. Cushman Cafe offers a variety of meals, alongside baked goods and freshly mixed café drinks. While I'm not a fan of the switcherels, I have enjoyed their dirty Chai lattes, iced teas, fresh coffees, and free water if I recall in a pinch. They have gender neutral bathrooms--which is great if you're tired of waiting in line for one of two as they are large but single occupancy. They offer cold panini sandwiches, hot panini, all sorts of eggs, egg sandwiches, and egg breakfasts, vegan and vegetarian options, alongside a seemingly visible carnivorous focus for their new menu's default. If you had a chance to hop on a bus and travel around Amherst, or you were passing through to the highways, Cushman Cafe is worth a quick stop. I've rarely had to wait long for my meals even in busy hours, and this is because of the large and competent kitchen, who--if you'll remember--can get a delicious sandwich right any day of the week. I hope cell service returns there!
