Hi, I sent my husband to get me a forehead thermometer to Target but saw that it was 34.99. He did a little more research and found the thermometer at Walmart for 23.50. He asked the manager Vivienne to price match the item but she denied the price match. She said there wasn't any in stock. When on the website it said there was 6 left and he had it in his hands at the register!!!We could have paid less by buying it online and picking it up tomorrow. Why is this Walmart trying so hard to not accommodate the customers. I'll stick with Target for now or a different Walmart. This Walmart specifically and this Manager (Vivienne) needs to be retrained, you're losing customers and our money. I came to get a George Foreman Grill and they didn't have that. They never have anything here and the employees always say, well u can order online. They told me that and I over heard them telling others. O need to give this one a negative 3 stars!!! They need more employees in the areas. This is an average sized Walmart. The grocery section could be larger- that is my biggest complaint. And fresh fruit is in short supply. Tonight when I visited for a quick grocery trip, there was a huge stand with bananas- but not a single non damaged banana to be found. As Walmart has transitioned to self check out stands, regular check out lines are gettung longer. I did have an experience today that was so positive. We had just arrived to the store from out of town, and I rushed in to use the bathroom- only to find out it was closing for cleaning. The employee cleaning it, 'Jeff' was nice enough to let me run in first before he started cleaning- AND he was so nice about it. I didn't sense the same enthusiasm in any other employee I encountered during this visit. read more

The best encounters we've EVER had at a Walmart! We came in today specifically looking for photo albums. After walking through so many aisles, we finally decided to ask for help. We approached a worker walking by and asked where the photo albums were located and she pointed us in the right direction without a problem. She also notified us of the Walmart app we could download to have handy with our shopping experience After selecting the albums we wanted, we went to check out in the electronic section. There, we met Darrin (store manager), Michelle and Lashaun. We had great conversation and they were super helpful! Honestly the best service we've gotten at a Walmart! There's a reason this Walmart has two stars. They are so rude every single person I encountered pretty much except the door lady on the way out. The electronics department in particular is so unprofessional instead of calling for help. It had to take three people and me asking someone to phone for help and you can tell she ignored me at first and got an attitude and I said you guys are rude as **** then she came to the register, like nothing was wrong, and began to change her attitude. this was honestly the worst experience I've ever had with Walmart. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE ONLINE APP!! They make it so complicated to change the pick up person. I was trying to change the pick up person to my online order on the website but it had no option to do so, so I called the customer service multiple times and no one had answered my call til 45 min later. Once they answered, they gave me a disgusting attitude, were extremely rude and were giggling in the background. Completely unprofessional. They need to fire all those people in the pick-up department and hire professional people. I am very disappointed and those employees need to go back to pre-school and learn some manners. read more

I used Walmart's new "pick up" feature and was given a time slot. Minutes before arrival I received a notification stating my order was picked up which of course was untrue. I spoke with a manager who insisted I hadn't placed an order at there store or it may have been a system error. I was pressed for time and needed to go to work so I left it alone. While at work I'm online checking to see what could have been the issue and I decided to check my emails and I seen they had sent confirmations which meant that I was at the right store. Ive been attempting to get ahold of someone in store which is impossible! The only department who answered was the pharmacy which told me they couldn't transfer me to someone in store. Especially arts and crafts )michaels and Joanne's has some serious competition. and toys? Toysrus wasn't even stocked this well. ... and cleaning supplies- the awesome cleaners I can only find in hardware store.. it's still too crowded. But I'm impressed at the quality and selections. GHETTTOOOOO....... First word that comes to mind when I think about THIS Walmart location. As soon as I walk in, I see some guy driving in with one of those handicap Walmart carts. This is perfectly fine... If you're handicap and you really need it. Then, I realize that this younger middle aged man also had his four year old son standing on the handicap cart(while the father was sitting) ... The man told his son to drive the cart in and control it. He also told his son to honk the horn so people would move. You don't drive a handicap cart when you aren't handicap, yet alone endanger all those around you because you want your four year old son to "drive" the cart. To top it off, the workers here said NOTHING. A few of them actually laughed. Produce selection is terrible. The selection here is about a fourth of what you would find at the Walmart in Baldwin Park, Rosemead, or several others. Parking is OK. But please, do yourself a favor, stay safe, and avoid this Walmart. read more

12/18/18 10:30 AM worst customer service area employees There are two lines to return items. One is regular returns and the other is mobile app express returns. Since I had my phone out a worker told me to wait in the express line. There were about two other people in the regular line. The employees kept taking people from the regular line. What's the point of having an express line.... finally I was called when no one else was in line. The worker looked at my phone and told me to stand back in the regular line. Another customer walked in while this happened. And instead of just helping me with my transaction, she forced me to stand back in line while she took a new customer... She watched me wait for over 10 minutes and made me walk one step over to wait again because I was in the "mobile line" I sincerely do not understand why she didn't simply help me, as she watched the new customer come in... and chose to help her first. Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated. read more

Calling is a complete waste of time. Spent an hour+ over 3 calls only to get left on hold, hung up on transfers and when i finally got to ask my basic question, they informed me they don't check inventory/don't have access to such in their computers anymore. Obviously walmart is where to go for cheap day to day needs, but basically you have to go there...planning in advance is not allowed. Website does not keep inventory records of stores either. Wow! Went on a crowded Sunday evening with a list. Every employee we asked on our scavenger hunt knew exactly what aisle to direct us to locate our items! CONS: 1. The clothes at Walmart will only fit you if you have a terrible sense of fashion or are overweight. 2. It's almost September--almost no cold-weather clothing in sight. 3. None of the workers are happy to be here; that's how it is at any Walmart. The greeter at the door looks so bored/annoyed that you'd feel more welcome if he weren't there. 4. The people shopping here aren't the best company in general. Creepy men check you out as you walk through the store trying to shop in peace. PROS: 1. When I first walked in, I was astounded by how clean and tidy it was! I'm used to verging on panic attacks whenever I spend more than 5 minutes in Walmart--dirty, bright lights, annoying people, boxes thrown everywhere, people swarming all over you as things fall from the shelves....that's the opposite of how it was here. Everything was pretty neat. 2. This is one of the only WalMarts that carry Mintgreen planners--the closest thing I can find to the Greenroom planners Target used to carry. I got what I came here for. 3. Big store, pretty good selection. Not too many people crammed in one space. CONCLUSION: I make it a point to avoid Walmart unless I absolutely have to go there. If it wasn't for their newly installed self check-out lane, I'd totally rate this Walmart 1 star! Here are the list of things I dislike about this Walmart: 1) Insane amount of people day and night. It's hard to get into the parking lot and maneuver, let alone find a parking. D: 2) So I'm a yelp elite during the day, extreme couponer at night. A lot of the Walmart employees here do not know Walmart's coupon policy. Beware couponers, they will argue their way and will not let you use valid coupons! 3) The store is kind of messy and slightly dirty compared to other Walmart locatios I've been to. But here are some pros: 1) Self check-out lane! Yipeee. 2) This walmart location is pretty big so it has a lot of stuff I'm looking for. All in all, I would totally avoid this location if it wasn't for their self check-out lane. I miss the nice manager that used to work at this location. :( read more

I appreciate the self service lines, but not at the detriment of mediocre customer service. My wife and I were in line, and with little guidance a new cashier opened up taking the couple in front of us leading us to believe that we would remain in the line to be served. Only after four other people rushed into the new line did she then come back to us, telling us the line was closed and we needed to move. This caused tension among the customers...... the old cashier should gave announced that she would be closing and would take "up to this customer" and the rest would be serviced in the new line next. We went to Walmart for the convince and late night hours, but if customer service continues to remain mediocre or declined we would have to rethink our shopping..... read more

We were on the check-out register, and the customer checking out in front of us took more than 20 minutes to ring out her items, and the cashier acted like she didn't care there were 7 people waiting in line, and management just let this idly go by - the long lines, turtle- paced check-outs, no, they don't want to open another register. The stupid self help check out machine wouldn't print out our receipt after saying "Approved" just after I swiped my credit card. A few customer service reps were trying to understand the situation, & said that the machine had not charged my credit card because the last receipt it charged was of a different purchase. Overall, the experience at checkout was really frustrating. I was getting so upset that I almost felt like leaving without the things I though I had purchased.
