This is the truly the worst walmart ive been to for produce. The produce section has everything in bins, no bags to even put the fresh produce in, the customer service is not great. The line is always long for the self checkout and there was only one cashier working. I would honestly avoid this walmart at all costs.

I used to live in Florida and frequently would go to the Wal-Mart there. California definitely isn't a place for Wal-Marts, I went just to pick up a small order (1 item) and it's definitely a hit or miss with the employees, some are kind, courteous and professional, others just hate to be there and it shows. I also went on a Friday at 11am, so very low traffic and at the beginning of the work day, and they're already kinda frustrated? lol. Anyways, I try to avoid going here if possible.

Walmart is Walmart. The locations parking lot is dirty and it's always crowded but aren't they all?! I prefer the Rosemead location because this one is not very friendly or clean. But all Walmarts have amazing deals

Leah the super hero!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Leah at the Monrovia Walmart! I came in early yesterday with a ton of questions, and she went above and beyond. She answered every single one with professionalism, kindness, and patience--even while being bombarded nonstop. Leah is truly a superhero! We need more people in the world like her. Walmart, what are you waiting for?! Raise and promotion needed here--come on guys! God bless you, Leah, and thank you for making my experience such a great one.

Ask the Community - Walmart

How is the grocery pickup at this store? Efficient? Accurate? Wait time? I know it can vary depending on staffing, how busy they are, etc. but in general, is it worth it or a pain? Thanks.

It is not the most convenient. Make sure you add extra time to your day.

Is there a fabric department here?

Limited amount of fabric in the arts and crafts section.

The issue wasn't the store policy, it was the way she chose to communicate it. She was condescending, unnecessarily rude, and spoke to me loudly enough that I felt completely embarrassed in front of other customers. A simple, polite explanation would have been more than sufficient, especially considering I was trying to get a large amount of fragile merchandise safely to my car. Management should absolutely speak with Susie about how she communicates with customers. Customer-facing employees should be able to explain store policies respectfully without yelling at or embarrassing people. Based on my interaction with her, she would benefit from additional customer-service training or may be better suited for a position that is not customer-facing. I left what should have been a pleasant shopping experience feeling embarrassed and extremely disappointed by the way I was treated

While I was staying at the hotel across the street, I have noticed this store and always wanted to visit the store. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon just to browse and see what they had. Didn't really have anything in particular on mind. All aisles were nicely organized, stocked according to their items and the store itself was very clean along with the dressing rooms and restrooms. Got a nice welcome from 2 of their employees, security guard, and they were all kind and really wanted to help. They have items from kitchenware, to accessories, stuffed animals, handbags, shoes, clothes for kids, men and women. Also have luggage, outdoor furniture and some indoor furniture. Have swim suits for ladies, kids, juniors, toys, have beautiful decor, art work, beauty supplies and a lot of the items were on sale up to 70%. What more do people want?? Why all the bad, negative reviews?? They had couple of fitting rooms, and gender neutral restrooms. Bought few items: black jacket with thin white stripes, 2 room sprays, a nice art work made of canvas, mustard color jacket, brown Jacket, black and white print, Summer dress, a small saucer/pot, and a short cute Jeans skirt. For all that I only paid $140.00 including tax. Now, I can finally say that I have been to Burlington. It's a lot like Ross, Marshalls, Target, and TJ Max. What surprised me the most is their super long hours. Wow!! Store has been around since 2021 and I heard that this place used to be Toys R Us! Plenty of parking spaces shared with other stores and eateries..

Built in 1990, it was recently (2017) sold to investors, the Gerrity Group for $38.1 M. More than half of the tenants in the plaza have been here since 1995. Prior to Smart & Final Extra moving in, there was a Ralph's supermarket. But business slowed down, they shut their doors and the lot sat empty for what felt like over a year. S&M has then brought more foot traffic and interest back into the place. In the past year, Starbucks has moved from the western corner to the eastern ocation, where the physical store is smaller, but they added in a drive thru. Apparently that's the trend now, people are too lazy to get out of their cars for anything. Other tenants include: Wells Fargo Jamba Juice Starbucks Baklava Land (eastern corner) Flame Broiler Subway Hertz Papa John's Dollar tree UPS Store Sports Clips SCE Credit Union Curves Magic Wok and several other independently owned business, (dentist, pilates, eyebrow threading ..etc) The plaza was strategic in picking the right tenants for the community, mostly businesses with discounted, or off-pricing stores so that these tenants can serve the area and have longevity. Years ago, I held accounts at the SCE credit union, did business w/ Wells Fargo and made frequent visits to Baklava Land. These days, I only do occasional shopping at Smart & Final Extra! Tip: * There are two entry/exit points into the parking lot on Huntington Drive and one on Buena Vista St., near the baklava shop. * During major holidays, the parking lot gets hectic. Smart & Final gets the blame for the chaos.

They were here last year for the month of October, and it seems they've returned for the same time this year. There's plenty of parking in this area, and it's conveniently situated next to the newly opened Dollar Tree. Out of all the Spirit Halloween stores I've visited, this one is definitely one of the nicer ones. It's larger, with more space to move around, cleaner, and much better organized, with fewer crowds compared to other locations. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by impressive Halloween displays and moving animatronics. These are available for purchase but tend to be on the pricier side. The technology behind these displays seems to have evolved, with some animatronics even featuring sensor tracking--so their faces move as if they're watching you. This year, it seems they're going for a carnival theme, with decor like the "Wheel of Fate," "Down the Duck," and "World Famous Side Shows" stage, complete with a ticket booth and a walk-through "Fun House." It's all very inventive and adds to the spooky atmosphere. There's a huge selection of Halloween-related items here, from costumes to accessories. You'll find masks, pumpkin carving kits, and an extensive collection of costumes. They have everything from the classic skeletons and ghosts to themed characters. I was particularly impressed by the Spongebob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Harry Potter sections. However, the costumes are on the expensive side--for example, the Squidward inflatable costume is a hefty $59.99! Some of these costumes, like Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy, could easily be made for cheaper with a bit of DIY effort. Regardless, if you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit, this is a great spot to visit.
