Me on hold for 11:06 minutes. I ended up going past 12 minutes before their phone just hung up on me. This was the SECOND time calling!

Anyone have any idea when this store will completely reopen? The floor to ceiling plastic has been covering half the store for almost a year now and none of the employees seem to know anything... Or (surprise, surprise) care to know anything. I've called corporate not once but twice and requested the district/regional manager call me back with news, and he seems too preoccupied to return my call. Always Low Prices. Often Crappy Customer Service. -_-) They should add that last piece to their commercials.

Press for Associate! Really!?!

I've been standing in Cosmetics for 15 minutes waiting for an associate to come and open the glass doors so I can get a couple of products locked in the case! I've posted shed the button several times and not one sales associate has come. Poor customer service! This is why I prefer to shop n Northern Va. It's a day trip but worth it. If Walmart hadn't given 45 so much money perhaps Walmart could afford to train its employees or hire more employees. DO BETTER!

Only 2 lines open
Lakisha V.

They had 2 lines open at 5 pm on a Friday. The register in the second line malfunctioned so those people had to just stand there for about 15 min.

Plushies

Can you guys pls fix the plushie machine ? It doesn't quiet work and I've spend a lot of money on it and haven't gotten any of the plushies and I kinda really like some of the ones y'all have, thank you. Other than that I can't complain, costumer service is alright, haven't had any bad experiences, hot wheels are stocked often so that's nice, not many hello Kitty items though.

Robot scanning stuff

So this is the closest Walmart to my home so I visit fairly frequent. I will say the advantages of this location include surrounding businesses as well as in-stock items. I never seem to have an issue finding what I need. However, I always seem to struggle with finding an employee with a key to the soap lock box or spray paint. Actuallly anytime I need an employee I can always find them but they always tell me "that's not their department" or "they can't help me with this or that" never pointing me in the right direction. The last time I was there I talked to 4 employees before being able to get someone to even look for the soap key. Then when the lady came to unlock the soap she groaned about everyone losing their key and she was going on vacation next week and taking hers with her. Customer service at this location is horrible and morale seems to be low among employees. On that last visit as I walked in the door I saw an employee look at some trash on the floor and kick it under a fixture. When I finally got the the register and asked an employee about the robot, she told me she believed it spied on the employees to see who was stealing or not working. Overall, I come here solely for the convenience.

Walmart - Clinton (CLOSED)
Kay E.

This location is closed with ZERO information on its website saying why & when it might re-open - who DOES that ?!? Shame on you Walmart! Hope you're replaced by a Wegmans or other great quality store - this neighbor deserves better!

I was gearing up to make a cheesecake but also wanted to make a few things as meal prep for the week. It was interesting coming here on a Sunday, especially since there was a man outside the entrance giving a sermon. Made it inside and grabbed myself a cart. I was able to find a lot of what I needed, but I had to deal with people that were just not caring that they were ambling through the store and standing in front of areas where you need to grab an item. Then you have to be mindful of the ones that might mistakenly take your cart as you are grabbing items from the coolers. Then they ask you where Nutella is as if you work there. (I did say to him that I would check near the peanut butter, an aisle over, since I was just there and he ended up going the opposite way) Checking out was fairly simple. I went the self checkout route and prefer this. I was able to get through this part rather quickly. Made my way outside past the sermon again and was on my way.

For awhile there were issues with the carts and one of the entrances being closed but last time I went there was no issues. I use the app but sometimes the deals can be tricky. There's lots of stores nearby. The hours are late and early so that's nice. The area doesn't seem the "nicest" but I've never had an issue.

Ventured here today looking for some fresh fruits and vegetables…read more Was happy with the selection for today. Picked up some yummy fruits and veggies. Was excited to see seeded watermelons and seeded grapes! We also grabbed some jelly's and apple butter. The Apple Butter took me back to Sunday mornings breakfast at Grandmas. The bakery side had a variety of yummy treats from doughnuts, pies, cookies and cakes. Definitely grabbed a few for later. The Apple Pie ice cream my hunnie ordered was delicious. Tasted just like Apple Pie. Looking forward to our next adventure here already.

The woman who checked us out was an absolute delight, warm, funny, and exactly what you hope for at a local farm stand. Unfortunately my experience in the herb section was the opposite. When I asked about strawberry plants and was told they didn't have any, I mentioned I was a first time gardener and asked if she could recommend something beginner friendly. Her response was essentially "just pick something, all you have to do is water them." When I explained again that I was new and looking for guidance, she told me she couldn't help me. As a first time gardener trying to learn, that kind of dismissiveness was discouraging. If it weren't for the lovely woman at checkout, I likely wouldn't return. I ended up going to Ed's Plant World in Brandywine where the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful to a beginner. The difference was night and day. That said, I'm giving 4 stars because the place is really awesome in terms of selection and variety. The woman in the herb section may have just been having a bad day. It's absolutely worth checking out.

Here are some descriptives I've come up with: sloppy; disorganized and lacking in essential items. This Aldi is a prime example of how the same chain can differ greatly depending on the surrounding areas socioeconomic status and general demographic. I hope you all see what I'm getting at. The produce was all over the place. There was no spinach. Boxes everywhere. People basically piling on top of each other just to get frozen fish/ veggies. The prices are marked higher than Aldis' is more "affluent" neighborhoods m, such as Alexandria, where berries and other items are at least $1 which is significant. I get a pineapple guacamole that usually 2.89, it was close to 4 bucks at this location. Odd, since this area has a rather low median house hold income and high rates of public assistance. Regardless of any of the factors mentioned--Aldi's as a company needs do stay on top of their stores. Some stores shouldn't be neglected because of where they are. This is clearly a huge staffing/training issue. I thought I was saving sometime coming here, turns out I wasted more time walking up and down the aisles looking for my normal Aldi finds. If this is the only Aldis' you've been to, my review may confuse you. Try driving out to Arlington or Alexandria and I guarantee it will all make sense.
