While I was pushing my cart they had a wet floor sign in one of the aisle I must've missed it because I fell on the ground and one of the employees walked passed me laughing not even trying to help me up. I laid on the floor for 20 min until another customer and wife helped me up paid for my stuff and walked me to my car. read more

I swear this is the worst Walmart in the country. I don't normally come to this one but it was up the street and I really needed two items so I stop in. Not wanting to walk the whole store, I asked a clerk where an item was, she said "it's right there" and pointed to the next aisle. Now, I knew I had just came down that aisle and didn't see it, but I went back. I walked up and down the next TWO aisles still couldn't find it so I asked another girl who took me to it, four aisles over and past the pharmacy. In other stores they would've automatically taken me to the item. And, why are these lines so long at 9:30 at night with only 4 lines open? This is THE WORST Walmart I have ever been to in my life. (And I've been to a lot of Walmarts). The carts at this Walmart never work. Never. I can try seven different carts and they all will have something wrong with them. They're just raggedy. The people working at this Walmart are always seemingly very confused about everything & they will knock you all the way the hell over to put something on a shelf without saying excuse me or anything. There are always big boxes and filled carts etc. sitting around in the aisles and such, and the lines!!! The lines are always backed up down through the clothing section in the front of the store. There can be three lines packed and stacked to the back, and they will NOT open another register. One time I went there last month, the lines were crazy long and they all shut down (the cashiers said they were off) and left one line open for everyone else. There was no manager on duty. Worst Wal-mart in the area. Its the closest to me, but I'll bypass it to go to Waldorf or La Plata any day. Caution: Waldorf is on its way to the same status if they're aren't careful. Target may be more expensive, but I will also shop there over my this Wal-mart simply for the cleanliness, well-stocked shelves and better customer service attitudes/skills. This store ALWAYS (no exaggeration) has clothing and products all over the floor, empty shelves, and long lines. There is no sense of pride here, so why give them my hard-earned $? I've been in and out of the Walmart in Clinton numerous times and complain quietly about the things that I don't like. My last straw was pulled when it comes to my mother. A senior citizen , she was rudely spoken to and treated by two employees at the customer service counter! Key phrase customer service. my mother happens to be visually impaired and handicapped she was treated so rudely she had to take her glasses off to show her blindness before she was even given a half apology by one of the counter persons. That store location has many many problems with organization, keeping items n stock, and Lord don't let me get on the pharmacy. however their local and convenient but a headache once you leave . Hopefully in the future better screening over the employees will happen before their place in their positions. read more

Giant store. Have strolled it but at 67 I think I'll be using their pickup features more. They have a manager (at least he should be) in the pickup department in a wheelchair who is exceptional to deal with. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to-and I've been to a few. It seems dirty even if it technically isn't . Lines are few and painfully slow. Shelves are frequently understocked. There's virtually no one to help you if you have a question. The only thing I'm impressed with is the vision center. The optician and staff were very good when my son got his glasses. I also like. They have a wide varieety of frames (I got mine from there, as well.) I've been tempted to write their headquarters and demand that they overhaul this store. It's Walmart. I havent been to this Walmart in a loooonnnnngggg time and upon entrance, I remembered why. People just wreck everything. Bless the employees, I'm not sure I could do it at this location. The noise level was just ridiculous. I said to myself "I don't recall Target being this loud". This particular Wal-Mart was a little nasty in my opinion as far as cleanliness goes although the people inside were real nice to me and I will forgive an establishment for being a little dingy any day of the week if they have nice people working there. I bought a GPS here and I didn't have to wait very long for someone to come over and unlock the display case and she acted like she didn't mind helping me....which isn't always the case at some Wal-Mart's,LOL. This walmart has to be the worst store I've been to ever. Waiting in line for a pick up and it took a manager over an hour to come back here. They only have two employee working back here and I feel sorry that they have to put up with such poor management. No runner or any type of assistance for these poor employer. They're trying to do the best in locating order but the manager is no wear in sight to even come back to address the issue. Guest are getting upset and rightfully so. Walmart you got to do better. Each time I call the Branch Ave location I'm on hold for hours. Only for the phone to hang up. I called Walmart.com today and it shows the items are at the store they just haven't pulled from the shelves. This review is for the Auto Service Center and the regular store customer service. I attempted to get an oil change at 4:30pm on a Sunday. The posted hours indicated that the auto center closed at 6pm. I was told that they had stopped doing oil changes for the day and that I could not get one. There were not any cars being serviced in the oil change lane and I was the only car seeking service. It was 4:30pm. Two workers were sitting on a bench in the back smoking cigarettes. They were the workers who told me that I would not be able to get one. I hope they are not being paid to work until 6pm because they are not working. The posted hours are false advertising. I drove away and called the main contact number for the store. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for several minutes. No one ever picked up the phone. I called back and the phone rang and rang. No one ever answered. I have now turned to Yelp to post this review and I am being generous by giving one star. This is a terrible location with poor customer service. read more

I placed an online order to pick up at store. I arrive at store at noon to pick up the order. They looked for it for 30 minutes and could not find it. This has to be the worst Walmart in PG County. They NEVER have anything. They are notoriously understocked. Rarely, if ever, will anyone help you if you have a question because they either don't know the answer OR they will "go and get someone who has the answer" and never return. This Walmart is in a great location and would be a great store if they had merchandise. Whenever I go in there, like last night, it looks like it's been robbed. Smh. Because of this, I will now travel to the Calvert County Super Walmart (down Route 4) because I know for a fact that I will be greeted kindly upon entering the store, the store will be neat, they will have merchandise and they will have helpful staff. It's further yes, but at least I will have a great experience entering the store. Please, avoid this Walmart at all costs but if you have to go and there is no other option, pack your patience. I ordered a dinette set with 4 chairs. The date the set was suppose to arrive, it didn't. I called Walmart and was given a new delivery date. When it did not arrive on the 2nd delivery date I called the store again. This time I was told that the set had not been picked up by fed-ex, but yet I was given 2 dates and a fed-ex tracking number. I cancelled my order and requested my money back. My money was refunded back to my card the next day. A few days later the set was delivered. I called the store to come get it. We have been going back and forth about them picking this set up. Almost 3 weeks later and the set is still boxed and setting in the middle of my living room floor. They even had the nerve to send me an email saying if I did not return the set within 5 days they were going to recharge my credit card. I called the credit card company and closed out that card and got a new card/number. They were suppose to pick the set up today, it's still here. I sent them a message that if it is not picked up by Saturday, August 11, 2018 I will be getting rid of it, and I will just see them in court. Never again will I order from Walmart. read more

I live 2 Miles away and I'm forced to go to southern md to shop. How is it that I have been living in this area for 8 years now and nothing I mean nothing about this store has improved. Just left this Wal-Mart, aside from it being extremely disorganized and cluttered, the service was nice. We went to buy the new NBA game but of course they were sold out and the attendant they had working in that section didn't seem very knowledgeable about the products as this is a HOT, new release that everyone not living under a rock knows about.
