I feel like because it's not as close as Largo Plaza 10408 campus way people forget about it. I love that for Me tho because I could get in and get out!, ppl had on masks, you can move around freely without bumping into someone or having to slide your cart over type Ambiance. The Food to Me is always fresh seafood or packaged! , it's always very organized like this store keeps up on care of their presentation! IMO!!!... I love getting Boars Head Lunch meats whenever I'm wanting a cold cut! , the customer service is Just as great as the Management. This is a Huge store also very spacious in the Aisle as well!! This is my preferred grocery shopping location in the Upper Marlboro area…read more The Giant is huge - it's not the prettiest or fanciest but it's huge. This has been nice during the COVID times where I wanted space between me and the next shopper. There have been very few occasions when I was looking for a specific product or brand that they didn't have. The few times this has occurred, I've been able to find a substitute so my recipe is not impacted negatively. The produce, meats, and seafood have all seemed fresh, well stocked, and ordered neatly. I'd also like to give them a shoutout for how they've adapted to COVID and new regulations. There are always associates cleaning the aisles, racks, and conveyor checkout belts. For much of 2020 and 2021 there was also an attendant at the front of the store offering to wipe your cart down before using it. Over the years, some of the employees have started to recognize me and chit chat while I shop. I appreciate the friendly service.

Weis to the rescue for some delicious fried chicken! I…read moreusually order fried chicken from Walmart or Shoppers BUT I wanted to try Weis since it was closer to where I live and they didn't disappoint - well almost... I called and placed and order for 40 pieces of chicken a day in advance I get there and I was given 2 buckets that felt rather light. I looked inside and I spy, 40 wingettes!! I actually kinda screamed- noooooo!! I was expecting folks at my house in an hour and wingettes are not gonna do! So I say to the woman who gave me the buckets: I wanted chicken chicken not wingettes She looks at the order and apologizes for the mixup and tells me that it will be 18minutes Needless to say, I left out with 40 pieces of chicken and she gave me a discount for the mix up The chicken was piping hot and delicious

Also, I received a Weis Rewards card when I went to the store, but when I tried to sign up for an account on the website, I had two nasty surprises: 1) the website rejected the Weis Rewards card that I received 2) I see the store, located at 4535 Fairway Village Pl, Waldorf, MD 20602, is not listed at all on the website, so signing up for an online account was not possible. That store is walking distance from my home, but if the website won't let me register, what do I do -- anything? I expected to sign up, but the website doesn't allow it. Also, the website doesn't let me see the entire list of customer reviews -- is that on purpose? I think someone needs to do some work on the website because it's hardly a Welcome to Weis Markets as it is now! The proximity promises to make it my main store, but the website doesn't seem to welcome me at all!

I'm always here for my shopping needs, whether it's a quick run or a haul they always have what I need. I've never used the seafood dept, so I can't speak for it, but all of the other departments are great. Never had an issue with quality or customer service. I gave this review 3 stars because the bathrooms are always disgusting. There's always trash overflowing, the door sticks, and the stalls are gross with sticky floors! Although it's not a huge part of my shopping, it would help that when I did have to go, it was neat & clean. Worst of all, it's at the front of the store. Better janitorial staff could go a long way!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this location involving both product availability…read moreand customer service. The store has been out of the Simply Nature coconut water case for quite a while, yet the $6.99 case price tag is still displayed. Since the boxed cases are unavailable, customers must purchase the individual bottles at $1.50 each. I asked if buying six individual bottles could be honored at the case price, which is a reasonable accommodation many stores make when only the packaging is missing. Instead of receiving a respectful explanation, the manager, Jazz, spoke to me in a raised tone, repeated the same incorrect information, and became visibly irritated when I asked for clarification. When I ultimately asked to remove the items from my purchase, he rolled his eyes and responded with frustration. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. After this incident, customer service reached out to me and assured me they would look into the matter. They made a point to calm the situation and promised follow‑up. However, every time I've reached out for an update, I've received no response. The lack of communication only adds to the disappointment. I understand supply issues happen, but the way this situation was handled--both in‑store and afterward--has caused me to lose confidence in the customer service at this location. I strongly recommend improved training for management and better follow‑through from customer service. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful treatment, even when the answer is "no."

It's located at Ritchie Station right next to TJ Maxx, so there's a massive parking lot. But on a weekend, you still may not be able to park close. It's a busy plaza! Upon entering, the aisles are easily labeled and the shelves were quite stocked. I found the juices I came for with no problems at all. Staff were super nice at the register and everything was seamless. There's nothing about this location that makes it stand out from the others -- I do wish that they, like the locations closer to me, had self-checkout. I'm a self-checkout king and I miss it when I don't have it, lol!
