I stopped in yesterday and decided to pick up hotdogs and rolls. I ate a hot dog and roll. As I went to put the rolls in the fridge I saw blue-green mold on multiple rolls, which meant I likely ate one with moldy bread. I tried to call the store to let them know so they could check others and throw them out. But the number takes you to a 1-800 number where you can't talk to anyone. They tell you to reach out to them on the website. I went to the website and I could only leave feedback about the website. And I wasn't driving back to get a refund. I usually don't shop here because there is typically only one person checking people out and the line is ridiculous. I won't be back anytime soon to this or any other location. read more

This location recently opened in Crofton, I dig because it is Uber new and hasn't been corrupted by the masses yet. The store is larger than the Bowie location and what appears to be more organized. Staff are super friendly and there is more parking. So far this has been my new go to read more

I had to think long and hard before writing this review because I wanted to assure I used the least offensive terminology regarding this Aldi. Here are some descriptives I've come up with: sloppy; disorganized and lacking in essential items. This Aldi is a prime example of how the same chain can differ greatly depending on the surrounding areas socioeconomic status and general demographic. I hope you all see what I'm getting at. The produce was all over the place. There was no spinach. Boxes everywhere. People basically piling on top of each other just to get frozen fish/ veggies. The prices are marked higher than Aldis' is more "affluent" neighborhoods m, such as Alexandria, where berries and other items are at least $1 which is significant. I get a pineapple guacamole that usually 2.89, it was close to 4 bucks at this location. Odd, since this area has a rather low median house hold income and high rates of public assistance. Regardless of any of the factors mentioned--Aldi's as a company needs do stay on top of their stores. Some stores shouldn't be neglected because of where they are. This is clearly a huge staffing/training issue. I thought I was saving sometime coming here, turns out I wasted more time walking up and down the aisles looking for my normal Aldi finds. If this is the only Aldis' you've been to, my review may confuse you. Try driving out to Arlington or Alexandria and I guarantee it will all make sense. read more

This is going to be short and sour.... This is probably one of the worst Aldi's I have been to. The produce was everywhere. Items were a mess. The staff is rude and standoffish. The store is just extremely unorganized! I literally had to say "Hello" to the cashier three times before she would even speak up. Wanted to return 2 Candles that did not burn properly. The Manager told me 2 lies. Stated that Aldi's return policy was no returns after 30 days, the receipt was dated 6/26/2021 and this was around 7/30/2021 and also that they cannot accept used items even if defective. I asked her if the policy was in writing for 30 days, she said no, that's when I knew she was making up her own Policy. I went back to this location the following Monday, a different manager tried to make excuses and wanted to see the Case # before giving me a refund (Wow). She stated that no candles burn all the way down. I have purchased about 20 of their candles in the last 2 years, this is the first time I had the wicks burn faster than the wax and they kept going out. I will be going to Bath & Body Works to stock up soon, more expensive but never had a problem with them before. I also returned my last unburned New Candle a few days later at different location due to this situation. Called Main Cust Service the next day and checked the website, they do not have a date limit with a receipt unless is is electronics which is 90 days. The Cust. Serv. Lady stated she would send an $8.00 Gift Card, I have not received it yet, may be in the mail, idk. read more

Another day, another review.... Aldi use to be my light at the end of the tunnel, but not anymore.... I could go there with $20 and come out with enough food for dinner for three to four days. But since they remodeled about a year ago I noticed the prices have doubled. As much as I hate giving my money to Walmart, they are now cheaper to shop for groceries. I still shop there for their home goods, you can find some much needed items at reasonable prices. read more

Aldi is an acquired taste. You either like it or you don't. I'm a fan of the low prices on staple foods. I don't do all my shopping here but can score great chocolate, cheap butter, half and half, baking supplies and soy milk. A few items have been misses but they do offer a refund on all Aldi brand items so you can't lose! read more

They have great prices on the their products. Once you shop here, you start to realize that you really don't need those high priced products at the other grocery stores. The only thing that I'm cautious about is the their meat. The meat refrigerator looks like it needs some work. read more

I like Aldi because they sell inexpensive but quality products but this particular Aldi never seems to be stocked properly. They always seem to be out of essentials today it was broccoli. It's also not as tidy and kept as the other Aldi. Although this is the closest Aldi to my home I come here only as a LAST resort. read more

Aldi is a great little grocery for the budget conscience shopper looking quality products but uncaring of brand names. Mind you they have special buys of the big brands from time to time, but if you are looking for all the brands you see on the TV, skip it. If, however, you are like me, and looking for quality grocery items at reasonable prices, this is the place. Think of it as private label, since most of it is. Yes, you have to pay a 25 cent deposit for a shopping cart, but you get the quarter back when you return the cart - bonus: the parking lot isn't littered with those annoying abandoned carts that hog up spaces and roll around and bump into your car. Yes, you have to pay for your bags (10 cent each I think) unless you bring your own reusables, or if there are empty boxes around the store you can use those to load up your haul. Yep, you have to bag your own groceries...but is that so bad? I've never had smashed tomatoes or broken eggs when I got home, and had I, I would have only have myself to blame. There is a large counter after the check-out area to accommodate the self-bagging process (please be mindful that this is a shared area), so even the self-bagging is no issue. Last trip I paid $1.39 for a dozen eggs, $1.79 for a quart of half-and-half, $3.29 for a lb of their premium sliced lunchmeat, $2.39, for an 8oz of parmesan cheese, $0.59 for bag of baby carrots, and $1.19 for a 184ct of facial tissues - no sales, these are the regular prices...good luck doing that at the stores that are all brand name stuff. This location opened a few months ago, so it's clean, fresh and generally well stocked. You need cash, EBT, or a debit card as they don't do credit cards, but that's a minor inconvenience. I've been an Aldi shopper for years and have no plans to stop. read more

Not anymore; it is dirty, filled with pallets on the floor, and empty boxes on the shelves. Please go back to the way you used to be. We have enough poorly run establishments in our area. I love this store. I hear complaints from non-fans that you have to rent a cart (25 cents but you get it back when you return the cart), have to bag your own groceries, and it doesn't have the "name brand" foods. Renting the cart and bagging your own groceries keeps the prices down, so that's a HUGE plus in my opinion. As for the name brands.....so their brand of ketchup looks, tastes and smells exactly like Heinz but is 1/3 the price of Heinz. I'll save my pennies and buy the ketchup from Aldi. Some times they do have "name brands" and these are a bit cheaper than the ones in other supermarkets. Not only that, Aldi has European goods like real bratwurst from Germany. I especially love their European chocolates and specialty cakes/breads (the German stollen and pound cakes are wonderful! So is the brioche---man is that good!). The produce is great too. Again, the prices can't be beat. Anyhow, I like the Aldi in Camp Springs better than the one in Brandywine because the Camp Springs store is larger and the traffic pattern is better. So whenever I'm in the Clinton-Camp Springs area, I shop there. The Brandywine store is right off that series of traffic lights on 301 and it's a pain in the you-know-what to take that right turn to Waldorf. read more

I'm a frequent shopper at Aldi but I was highly upset at this visit. It's becoming a thing at Aldi only one or two cashiers checking shoppers out. I began to place my food on the belt the young man told me he was closed I can go over there. I said where there were no other cashiers present. He said 3 I said ok I moved over to 3 and waited and waited and waited meanwhile more people came behind me. I asked for the manager she came out eventually I told her we needed to be checked out and he closed she said he's getting ready to get off. She didn't attempt to check guest out at that point she said they typically have walkie talkies and waited for the cashier to come off the floor. At this point there were about 10 others waiting in line. The cashier came checked me out the young man ended up staying and the manager opened to get the line down. Never should you tell a customer you're closed and make them walk away when you're still on the clock. Never should it be the customer responsibility to tell the customers behind them you are closed. It's a shame this old rule that provides excellent customer service isn't passed down to this retail generation read more

Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I had a horrible experience with a cashier by the name of Khadijah. The store itself is fine but the cashier was VERY rude. She threw all my items in the cart and ended up smashing the chips and bread I just purchased. She had a horrible attitude. It took me all I got to not slap the attitude off her face. read more
