I will say that my hub cap was not properly installed after I was given my car back, and had I not noticed it would be on the side of the road, but I was quickly able to fix it. Jiffy Lube in Jeffersonville caused over a hundred dollars worth of damage to my husband's car yesterday. When we first called about it, the customer service person ask for us to send a copy of the receipt for the repairs. We haven't done the repairs yet, because the car is at the mechanics, but we were going to get our hands on an estimate to send to them for the repairs needed. In the meantime, the manager, Bill, arrived back at work and left me a voicemail letting me know in no way, shape, or form would they refund us. He did invite us to return to Jiffy Lube and have them "service" our car again. Since their "service" included not only damaging the car, but as our mechanic put it, "They did not even change the oil. It's black--it looks like it came out of a diesel," can you imagine the hutzpah? I just called and spoke to Bill at the Jeffersonville Jiffy Lube on 10th St., and told him that we received his message, a'we do not trust them to service our car, and that they will get the review they deserve. Bill's response? "Very good." And that is the story of Jiffy Lube on 10th Street in Jeff near the new Kroger. Your experience with them may differ, but why risk it? Tim has to cover an unexpected expense and be without his car--possibly for the entire weekend and longer. Definitely not a "quick" or inexpensive oil change.
