It seemed like a minor scrape, so we continued to Mike's. The damage was a bit worse than a mere scrape, so I asked Mandy, Mike's office person, if she had a bandaid. She took one look and got out the big first aid kit. She cleaned and bandaged the wound and urged me to visit urgent care on my way home. That is service far above the expected, and just shows the caliber of people associated with Mike Smith Firestone. Mike has even fit in emergency service on the car of a friend who was visiting from another state, making her car safe to drive home. Many years ago my car was leaking oil in the parking lot at work after an early morning oil change. Mike himself drove to my place of work and fixed it on the spot. Instead of being somewhat reasonable they decide to call the police because the customer wanted to take their car somewhere else to be looked at (keep in mind the car was driven to the shop just fine) but apparently the shop broke something which made the car unusable. They were essentially forcing the customer to pay for them to fix the problem that they caused and got upset when the customer declined. Yes this was a racially charged escalation and it's sad that people still do weird stuff like this instead of being half decent. I personally won't be doing business with this place and I would HIGHLY encourage others to do the same ESPECIALLY if you're black.

I had a really solid experience with Tony's and honestly don't understand some of the negative…read morereviews they've gotten. It was completely no BS from start to finish. I dropped my truck off, and they called me shortly after with a clear explanation of exactly what was wrong; which matched perfectly with what I already knew going into it based on other shops/family friends I had taken it to beforehand. No upselling, no runaround, just straight to the point. They quoted me a very reasonable price for all the front-end work I needed done to get it ready for an alignment. Other shops would've easily been closer to $1600-$1800 for the same job, and they got it done for under $1200. That alone speaks for itself. On top of that, the parts they put on for me come with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty, which shows they actually stand behind their work and aren't just trying to push you out the door. Overall, they were honest, efficient, and fairly priced which is exactly what you want in a shop. I really don't get some of the reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. Just remember; most people don't go online to leave a good review when things go right. Don't let a few bad reviews stop you from giving them a shot.

I…read morebrought them 2 vehicles for service with different needs. 2018 Honda Fit the dealership said was due for front brakes, and a 2021 Toyota Supra I was bringing in for alignment after lowering. The price quoted for the Honda's brakes was not as far from the dealer quote as I would have liked but they said they needed to do a full brake inspection first (despite having the dealer inspection paperwork). Their inspection said the front brakes didn't really need replaced but the back drums needed a much more expensive replacement. I opted out of any work done on that car. They charged me $45.00 (I had a coupon for free brake inspection printed from their website that they did not honor despite phone confirmation) The Supra had the alignment completed, or at least I was billed for one being completed. They did not provide any of the normal telemetry data for before and after alignment. They noted on the bill that one wheel had slightly too much camber, but was not adjustable. If they had said something about that during the process I would have bought a kit to adjust it (instead I will have to have someone else do another alignment on that part of the car). They did not either notice or tell me about the bands in one of the tires being busted to the point where the tire was tearing itself apart. They also did not apply the coupon I left for this car. Summary: Didn't get the work I wanted done on the Honda. Didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. Diagnosed a more expensive issue than the dealership. May have gotten the work done on the Supra. Didn't get standard documentation, didn't get told about an issue with the alignment, didn't get told about the safety issue, didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car.
