Have used Jiffy Lube since the location opened years ago. Last oil change, the guy in the bay next to me in the same model car, pulled out with his engine shield dragging. Told JL rep they need to call their customer to return as they didn't secure the shield. Was told "They don't need it anyway". I leave after oil change and find mine is missing (I'm two blocks away), which was absolutely there as I just washed the car and wiped it down. Call location first thing the morning, told "you don't need it anyway". Call owner, Stonebriar Auto Services Group, recall the issue w the manager who response was "his right, you don't need it". Sent registered demand letter for reimbursement, no response. So Groupon aside, add $150+ or so for the replacement parts once you leave. Small claims process underway. read more

After an oil change with them, I noticed oil marks left under the car. I went by there twice and was told that was normal? Finally pulled in and insisted someone look at it, I was told there was too much oil in the car. They were the last to put oil in the car! Then they said I needed a new valve gasket cover! They gave me a quote of $300+. I took my car elsewhere for this repair, and was told I should go back to Jiffy Lube, as too much oil is most likely why I needed the new valve gasket cover! I reached out to corporate who said they would not do anything, they would not. Be wary here! read more

My wife and I were taking a Jeep ride and the front left caliper seized up. We Googled brake repair and happened to be in the area of this shop. I am very capable of changing my brakes and have worked on vehicles for years. We agreed on a price for rotors, pads, brake hose, and a caliper. Was twice as expensive as doing it yourself, but that is to be expected. One thing led to another and they talked me in to the other side caliper. We waited for over 3 hours for the employee to have me come look at a bolt that they stripped as it was not before they started. At this point it was closing time and they told me the only option was to replace the steering knuckle at nearly an additional $400 on top of the almost $800 already quoted. They said they couldn't get the part until Tuesday. This was Saturda. We were about 2 hours away from home, and we have jobs. I told them to put it together the best they could as the bolt was the only issue and it did thread enough to stay in. I paid the nearly $800 for an incomplete job and they told me I would have no warranty. we made it home and the next day I went to fix the stripped bolt hole which I did with a hole coil for about $50 not $400. I noticed they installed the inside brake pads upside down and on the wrong side. They also neglected to install the clips or apply any ceramic grease to the pads. I immediately contacted the customer to which day my concerns onto the general manager, Todd. I spent the next three days sending pictures that was requested of me showing the incorrect installation. I received a text message stating that because I left with no they will not refund any of my money. told them I would pay for the felt that the labor should be reimbursed as it was incorrectly done. I felt that that was a fair compromise for my time and having to purchase an additional new set of brake pads so that I could have the installation hardware. I do not write a lot of reviews however I feel that it is my obligation to write this as I am sure that I am not the first nor the only customer that has been treated this way. I like many would've assumed that the pads would've been installed correctly. Had I not had to take off the tires to look at the stripped boat hole. I plan to tell my story to any and all that will listen and I vow to never for the remainder of my life. Give my money or time to anything with the Jiffy Lube name on it. I do not feel that I'm an unreasonable person or that I am asking or have asked for anything that is unreasonable. If you choose to go to this establishment, I wish you the best of luck as I would say my experience was about as bad as it could be, and I greatly regret my decision to pull into this shop. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service! Been going here for years, but NEVER again! I had a question about new fees and was told that I was hostile and screamed at and told to leave the premises for asking questions! The manager Tyler was leaning into my car screaming at me to the point I had a panic attack. There was not an ounce of kindness in any of these men from the moment I rolled into their shop. Three men screaming and ready for a fight for simply asking for clarification is not what I wanted on my Saturday afternoon. Never have I been treated so poorly by any service "professional". I witnessed an unfortunate event at Jiffy Lube and had a great experience, both of which will keep me coming back. I was waiting in line to get my oil change. Was told it would be about 40 minutes. No big deal. There were two cars ahead of me, and the attendant was going to ask them to switch so one driver, who arrived first, could be served first. The driver who had to wait became apoplectic. He threw a drink at one of the mechanics and started screaming. He then threw multiple objects at the mechanics until they threatened to call the police. I found out later that he had threatened them with a gun. The whole time, the mechanic who had been assaulted kept his composure. He was professional and polite to the driver. I also tried to calm the driver down, and he yelled at me. The mechanics were extremely attentive and concerned, making sure I was okay. My oil was changed very quickly. They sold me an extra treatment because I was overdue and my lines were dirty, but they did not try to sell a cabin filter change. One thing I struggle with as a single woman is that I am often talked down to by mechanics, and often they try to get me to do extra things I don't need. For this reason, I'm quite picky. The professionals at Jiffy Lube treated me like a grown woman who knew how to take care of my car, and they only called me "hon" when they were making sure I was okay. I felt respected and valued as a customer. One thing I really like about Jiffy Lube is that they will top off your oil between changes. They explained that the cleaning product they used would cause my oil to burn off more quickly, and to stop by in two months for a top off. Even though it's a bit more expensive than some other places, I will likely use Jiffy Lube for future oil changes for the convenience and due to the outstanding service and professionalism at this location. read more

Pulled up 3 cars are being serviced, no line and I was acknowledged and told to move behind the Buick. I did as I was asked and moved. A car pulled up where I was originally and was told to pull up and in before me. I am frustrated and I know it comes off childish but I was here before them. Now I have been waiting almost an hour and have not been acknowledged since. The team seems to have no sense of urgency or thought of the customer. This is my go to place for an oil change! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They checked everything under the hood and topped off the fluids possible. They did mention my air filter was dirty and mentioned how much it cost, but did not push the issue when I declined. I stopped by on Friday morning and I had no wait. The gentleman who helped me verified that all my lights (turn signals, high beams, break lights) were working properly along with changing my oil! The gentleman that I spoke with was wearing a mask each time we interacted and the majority of the time working. There was another gentleman who was working on my car without a mask, but we did not have any interactions. I was okay with that and still felt very safe at this business. read more

Their work order shows the break down: they charged their regular rate, applied a $25 Groupon discount, then applied what I paid for the Groupon as a "Gift Certificate." I owed the difference. Further, there were services in the Service Checklist on the work order that are marked complete, but were not performed such as clean exterior windows, check tire pressure, and inspect wiper blades. Finally, they said I needed a new air filter, but on the work order, it is marked as "good cond." I do not trust them and will not return. read more

DO NOT USE JIFFY LUBE. just to start off when we went the workers were clearly irritated bc of the amount of customers they had, and they were VERBAL with that. BIGGEST THING being that My husband's 2016 Volvo S60 caught fire not even 48 hours after them servicing it!! the day it caught fire he kept getting a strong smell of gas- so he checked his car out and just to find out they never screwed the oil cap on !!! first red flag was right after we got the oil change the car was visibly shaking the workers noticed as well so when we asked about it before leaving the man proceeds to say "oh it's normal the oil just has to flow through" we knew something was off then, but he insisted it was normal so we go on and the shaking did stop that same day so all was well. However the very next day the car caught fire while driving. Thankfully my husband is physically okay, however we are now out his car giving that it is completely totaled and burnt up! not to mention also paying for this car for atleast 2 more years all because jiffy lube improperly maintenanced my husbands car. read more

I took my car in for an inspection and the manager and another employee quickly told me my brakes would fail the inspection because my pads were too worn down. It struck me as odd because a month earlier I had my tires replaced and that company told me I had a good bit of brake pad left on all four wheels. I told this to the guys and their response was that the other company had definitely lied to me about that. This Jiffy Lube offered to fix my pads for $469 which would enable me to pass the inspection but I told them I wanted to think about it. I scheduled a different inspection with a different company and they said my brakes were in good shape and gave my vehicle a passing score on the inspection. You can draw your own conclusions but I'll never go back to this place. It's really unfortunate because they're taking advantage of peoples' ignorance. I just happened to have enough information that day to thinking it didn't sound right but any other day I would have trusted them and paid for something I didn't need. read more

They were busy yesterday as everyone seemed to come out at one time after the snow and prior lockdown. They were ready and had a full crew with a district manager supporting too. I like this place because they've had some of the same guys working there for 15 years or so which says something about the mgmt, owner etc. A gentleman named Garret went out of the way to make sure I was satisfied as Russell kept the line going. I only came here because my girlfriend got me a Groupon for an oil change and a rainx windshield application. I'm just going to say that I'll probably make this my primary spot for oil changes. The dudes working were great and one even offered to vacuum the floor of my car, not sure if that's something they normally do but that literally caught me by surprise. The two guys working there kept the pace and process running fairly quickly and knew exactly what to do and didn't give me any issues with my Groupon. They got me in and out very quickly, and were extremely professional and to the point. No extreme chit chat or anything, not that it's a bad thing but sometimes I'm just in a zero talk kinda mood and today was one of those. I absolutely loved this place and just how laid back but professional the employees were. I'll definitely 100% be returning. read more

Even though I have options closer to my house, I always drive about 20 minutes just to get my car's oil change at this location. Service is great, everyone is very friendly and pricing is competitive. I also love how there is always a coupon available online! An added bonus is that in the lobby where you wait while your car is being serviced, they have cookies and cold refreshments! I am giving this place 3 stars simple because the oil change was accomplished. However, I wont be returning again. I ususally go to Valvoline for my oil changes bc its easy and convenient. Living social had a special going on for this location and I figured why not, plus they are open on the weekend. I had just gotten back in town from Nashville and decided to stop before going home. I had called a couple of weeks ago and they confirmed that I didnt need to make an appointment beforehand and could just drop by. I made it in at about 3/3:10p (they close at 4p). The entire time that I was sitting in the bay, one of the guys was complaining about having to do an oil change. Another car pulled in and the complaining guy started complaining more because she was using a voucher as well. And this was while he was wiping her windshield. Overall, the service was accomplished but the staff experience was miserable. read more

Do not go here! I took my car into this Jiffy lube for an oil change last week. I had never been there before but needed to get it changed before a last minute road trip. He filled the tires and said my break pads were at a 3 and he could see the indicator strip on one of them and that he could change them in the shop in a couple hours. I knew they were getting low but the dealer 6 months back changed my oil said they were a 6. The only reason I started to believe this guy is because I had been on some major road trips this summer with the car. I hesitated and decided to take the car to the dealer instead because they offered the same price to change the pads. The dealer called me and said the pads were still at a 6, that I was lied too and not to worry, and the dealer didn't charge me for the inspection. I am pretty mad though because Jiffy Lube was obviously trying to take advantage of me and I wasted a lot of time. I also realized Jiffy Lube overcharged me for the oil change by at least 30 bucks. read more

I visited this location to get my tail light replaced. from the moment I arrived Currie and the team were very professional and attentive. Currie in particular was very quick to get my issue resolved. He replaced my light in 5 minutes. I was in and out in less than 10 min. That is very impressive. I had a wonderful and quick experience from this location. It was my first time to a Jiffy Lube in Ky, formerly a TN frequenter. Tristin, Russell, and Jonathan were very helpful, upfront about pricing (additional needed over 4 qts), and friendly! I didn't feel pressured to buy additional services, nor was I talked down to because of being a woman. This has happened at other oil change places in the area. I will be back for the service, friendliness, and price overall for the full synthetic oil change required for my vehicle. 7/10/2017 - After driving 6 hours North and letting my car sit for a week, as I was on vacation, there was oil leaking on to the driveway where I was parked. Upon further inspection it appeared that the plug was loose, and might not have been screwed in completely and leaked oil all over my protective barrier under the car (2013 VW Passat) and the driveway. I did call to speak with John the Manager and he was very apologetic, giving me a full refund for the service since it wasn't completed to standards. He also said that when I get back to town I can come back in for further inspection to check to make sure everything is right. Still a very frustrating situation, as I trusted the job to be done correctly, and the persons helping seemed friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. Mistakes can happen, but this could have been a very costly one. Not to mention I am still in talks with the homeowner about possible cost to replace the place on the driveway where the oil leaked. :( read more
