I called a bunch of different places and they were either too pricey or they didn't know the car brand that well. I called A1 Autosports and he was willing to fit me into his busy schedule last minute and was very reasonable on the price. He was very thorough and a very nice guy. His shop is small but he does a very good job and is very smart with cars, his other customers vouched for that as well. I would recommend to anyone who needs an opinion on a car/ or car issue. 5 stars! :)

We've all had that mechanic who was looking for the bottom of our wallet and didn't give a SHIZ about us. Most of my experience here has been with Chris. He's the best! We have been loyal customers of this Big O Tires location for approximately 20 years, so today's…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing. One of our tires developed a screw in the sidewall. We were told they would not replace the single tire and that we would have to purchase four new tires, even though all four tires were purchased from this store just 13 months ago and were under warranty. Naturally, we questioned why the warranty would not cover the damaged tire. Our call was handed off to the manager, David, who was clearly angry that he had to take the call. He immediately became argumentative, raised his voice, interrupted us, and showed no empathy for our concerns. He was dissmissive and told us we could get tires elsewhere. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, I calmly explained that while I understood the policy, I felt his approach was unprofessional--especially toward customers who had been loyal to the store for approximately 20 years. He became angry again, spoke over me in front of other customers, argued about how long we had been customers, and threatened to delete our account. When I told him I was shocked by the way he was speaking to me, he responded, "I am not just the manager, I am the owner and you get what you give!" He then told an employee, "Air up her tire and get her outta here." I understand that sidewall damage may not be repairable and that there may be legitimate warranty limitations. My concern is not being told something I didn't want to hear--it is the disrespectful and unprofessional way the situation was handled. After approximately 20 years of loyalty, I expected much better.

And they destroyed the studs on my exhaust manifold from a simple bolt on magnaflow exhaust that should have been no more than 2 hours and a few hundred dollars. It left that shop leaking and loose, right rear cat failed and magnaflow honored the warranty and shipped me a replacement. Brought it back to have them swap the part and fix the leak. It leaked even worse and the owner told me straight to my face that it was not leaking and it didn't fit perfect cause it wasn't OEM. I finally find Eric with performance automotive and come To find out he even used to work at ams, so he knows what he's doing for sure. After spending 3 hours removing the old stripped studs and putting in new hardware, the magnaflow exhaust all went into place perfect like an OEM part . Had some other parts that needed to go on before a trip back to California and when I went to drop off truck my alternator was showing signs it was going out. Got all the parts together and he managed to swap that, installed my traction bars, do my carrier bearing on my driveshaft, and airbag cradles. Truck drives perfect now and while his shop rate may be "high" to some people, he actually is working that full hour and doesn't just sit around. I'd rather pay more per hour and less hours and ensure it gets done than some of these other shops in the area that charge less per hour but bill you more hours and mess things up like what I experienced that he had to fix. Overall you get what you pay for and simply put, He's the only shop I would ever go to out there.
