My son had taken a tired to Big O in Jeff and they told him they couldn't plug the tire that I needed a new tires. I called around and Discount Tires always has the best prices. They ordered the tire for me, but when I took it up there, I asked them could the old tire be plugged? He said they would look at it and let me know. Went to pick up the tire and they were able to plug it. This is why I continue to go back to discount tire, because they could've charged me for a new tire, but did the right thing and plugged it saving me more money. read more

This location is BUSY. Call ahead before you go to see about wait times, especially if you have kids. Also, am I not aware of the practice of putting your back tires on the front when only replacing two? I came in for two front tires and left with two new back tires and my back was put on the front. Other than this confusion, I was provided great service and a good quality product. I'm no longer at the gas station every few days paying for air and have peace of mind while driving my crazy kids around. I was a walk in and was still given the keys back in a timely manner. Bought my tires back in August. Great deal and great value for the tires. Came back this week with a nail in my passenger front tire (with no appointment), and was in and out in 20 minutes including the repair, and a rotation and balance. I thought I would have to wait to get in, and wait forever once I did get in, like several other places in the area, where all you do is wait. Nope, not here...and the service is quality as well. Over the years, I've purchased at least 5 sets of tires from Discount Tires in both Texas and now Indiana. I've always received excellent service and equally important, after-sale service. Loyalty is something earned - and while I always research best prices for tires, in the rare occasion I find a lower price, Discount Tire has never failed to match the price. My most recent experience at this Discount Tire was equally gratifying. I caught an online special for Michelin tires and took advantage of the savings. For some reason, the discount was only available if you order online ... so, I stood at the counter while the salesperson (non-commissioned, by the way), patiently waited for me to go through the process. I ran into a problem when my bank wouldn't accept the charge. Undaunted, the salesperson called his manager, and between the two of them, they figured out how to match the pricing without going through the app on my phone. Then, they added an additional discount as a courtesy. Bottom line? I got Michelin's top-rated tire for my vehicle for less than a secondary brand tire. Now....remember, at any time you can bring your car into Discount Tire for a tire pressure check or free rotation. That's $25 at a dealer or Quick Lube joint. If you get the protection plan, your tire will be replaced if it sustains irreparable damage. I was on the road in Kansas City when that happened, and I was on my way again in short order. My car kept indicating my tire pressure was low. It was 5:00 pm and I was worried about getting in somewhere before closing time. I stopped by Discount Tire because it was close by. I was greeted at my car by an employee (I wish I would have gotten his name). I explained the problem, & he had me pull my car around to the service bay. He said he thought it was a problem with the sensor settings on my car. He checked pressure in all four tires, helped me reset the sensor settings, & sent me on my way within 15-20 minutes. This is the only place where everyone does everything! Guys that work out in the tire Bay Area, also works the front counter! Once I came in with my father-in-laws tractor tire that had a hole in it! I told them to please plug it fast before my father-in-law came home and found his tractor missing a tire! They plugged it and threw it back in my truck in under 5 minutes and didn't charge me a damn thing!Then I get a nail in the sidewall of my 4 wheel drive tire! I didn't have opted for the road hazard warranty when I bought the tires and was looking at a tire replacement, as the tire with the nail was unrepairable! Instead of making me buy a whole new tire that was over $400.00, he let me buy the road hazard warranty on all my tires for just $310.00! Now I have road hazard warranty on all the tires from here on out!! And this isn't even my first review of this place! What ever is going on here, it's a good thing! Give them an 1.5 to do a tire rotation come back in to get it at the time they said it would be done They need another 45 minutes horrible will not be back!! Paid 619.00 for 4 new tires and one of the people working there stole the chrome value stem caps i called up there and they tried to say that the brand new valve stem caps where corroded. I went to Walmart and got the same ones they took for 2.49. If you plan to in there and have decent valve stem caps be sure to take then off or someone there will take them and put plastic caps on your valve stems. It's pretty petty though that one of them working there would just take them instead of putting my valve caps back on regardless of they where less then a week old and shiny with no corrosion. I'd go to a different location if i was you. It was over a hour wait until they got my car in then took my valve stem caps without even showing me anything wrong with them and regardless the caps i had on it where just fine it was just one of the young punks working there thought mine looked good and took them to put on his p.o.s car not knowing you could get them at Walmart for 2.49 read more

Three sets of tires from these people in 2 years. Not one set of tires lasted over 10,000 miles. They keep telling me my car is the problem yet I've had the entire front end rebuilt and I've been told it's fine by everybody else. All they want to do is sell me new tires constantly. I will never go here again and I cannot recommend you go either as their products are cheap, do not last and they just want to sell you more. read more

I had a screw in my tire and it needed repair or replacement. Justin checked me in, again outstanding customer service. Sent a link to my phone so I'd receive updates. Then, I settled into a clean, organized, welcoming customer service waiting area. It did not take long, the repair went quickly and expertly. Dominic closed out the transaction and gave me some recommendations on full-size spare tires that I asked for. I live in Louisville, but whenever I do need a set of tires. Noticed some tire issues (nails and scrap metal imbedded into rubber) 336 miles into our road trip. This store happened to be a minute from our motel. On a busy Saturday morning, they were able to bump up my appointment an hour and a half to remove the metal and do a tire rotation, getting us back on the road a lot sooner than expected.
