Upkeep and maintenance the keys to keeping your Nissan happy!…read more We are new to the area, so after getting here the Nissan that we purchased in Vegas needed its required oil change. We are only dealing with the service department for this visit. Now the appointments here need to be made in advance. This service department is extremely busy. Make sure and have an appointment it's always busy and truly appreciated for your car to be serviced on time. Now in addition to the routine oil change the service department recommended daily driver up keep. We selected the service department ideas to keep the car at the best possible pace. While they were performing this routine maintenance a part failed and the service and department manager called to inform me of the situation. We actually needed the car as they had promised by the end of the day. But some times things happen, so they let us a loaner vehicle while they repaired our vehicle. They were so thoughtful. We were thrilled. Now when the Nissan needs its routine repaired maintenance or other wise it's going to come here. Until the next time Coyle . Thank you for making our visit so exciting. We were grateful for your kindness and support in ensuring our Nissan has the best possible outcome.

I came with the proper headlight, had auto zone look in the system down to the trim package. I Told Jennifer I'd be happy to buy vavolines if that was easier. He said they didn't have my light bulb in stock. Jennifer and the Vavoline staff took out my high beam light. I could see Jennifer signaling ("hand cutting neck") the young man who was under my hood to "stop". Lied to my face saying the person who sold me the light gave me the incorrect one. I looked online to verify. Ask Jennifer which one they took out as autozone and Google says the one he told me I needed was for high beam (which still worked) . His response "all of us have fat hands and can't access the low beam. It's really far down there." I said so "I do have the correct bulb." He closed my hood and signaled me out of the bay. I'm disappointed, I drive out of my way to patronize this location because I've previously loved this LaGrange location. But this is the second time I've come to this location and not been able to receive seamless service. First time they drained my oil and didn't have any oil filters to fit my vehicle. I can without a doubt say I won't be back. If they couldn't change the light, fine. But why lie? They're dishonest. Sad to say, this location is going downhill.

Monday morning shortly after 7:00 a.m. I called Wildt and asked if they would repair my tire. In a very courteous manner the gentleman who answered my call stated that if I brought in in then it would be repaired and ready for me to return between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the tire was taken -- my information given and that was it. At 10:45 I returned to the station. I was shown what was removed from the tire and presented with the cost of the service. The repaired tire was installed on my vehicle, the spare and all components carefully placed in required positions. The gentlemen treated me with dignity and respect along with what I considered to be a fair charge for such a valuable service. All of this also took place in over 90 degree heat. So based on this one service I will not hesitate to return when my vehicle needs future service.

I have used this Walmart Auto Care Center on several occasions. They are super friendly and give…read morereally great customer service. I feel confident in their automotive knowledge and I believe they operate with integrity. They don't try to over-sell, which I greatly appreciate. Recently, two nails punctured one of my tires. One large nail was inserted in the middle and a smaller near the edge of the tread area. I arrived expecting to buy a new tire. They ordered the tire to arrive the next day, but in the meantime they assessed my tire. It turned out they were able to remove the large nail and fix/close that area and the smaller nail located on the edge (the biggest concern) didn't puncture through. Therefore, I didn't need to buy a new tire. Money saved! The automotive department does an assortment of automotive work, including key making in the same area. I've gone to them for battery replacement, oil change, tire pressure refill, new tires, etc. So I've used them many times in the past and this most recent visit will cause me to continue to use them.

Walmart Auto Center on Grantline Road in New Albany, Indiana is fantastic!!!…read more We recently took both our cars for service. Kasey, Bret & Anthony are excellent...professional, knowledgeable as well as congenial. We had batteries replaced, fuel injection cleaned & 4 new tires (dry rot is not a safe thing!). Our cars were running so well that they didn't feel the same, so I called & went back to Walmart recently just to check to be sure. Kasey & Anthony checked the car & explained what they knew was going on. Bret shook his head in agreement too. Kasey recommended excellent suggestions & with the age of one car that I might want to ask a mechanic to check it out to be safe & sure. I took the oldest car to BYRNES Auto (on Vincennes & Lopp Ave/New Albany, IN...the folks at BYRNES are FANTASTIC too :). When I returned home I immediately called Kasey at Walmart Auto Center to THANK her, Anthony & Bret for all their helpful knowledge, advice & assistance with our cars. Additionally I told her that BYRNES explained what I was concerned about was normal for this older vehicle but now it's running better & not to worry I simply wasn't use to it yet. Both Kasey, Bret & Anthony were spot on. When I called to thank Kasey I repeatedly said, Dawn at BYRNES said this about the car, all I could say was, "that's what Kasey said, that's what Anthony did, that's what Bret told me." Confirmed that WALMART AUTO folks are not only nice people but they KNOW what they're doing! (So do the great folks at BYRNES!) We're seniors, we need our vehicles to run well & we need folks we can TRUST to do a job right & not pull any 'snow job' on the elderly! Age doesn't dull your 'snow job' detector...it sharpens with experience! WALMART AUTO CENTER (Grantline Road, New Albany, IN) & BYRNES (Vincennes & Lopp Ave New Albany, IN) are people we TRUST & HIGHLY recommend :)

They noticed that my back tire was wobbly (not the official phrasing but the gist) -- something they could not repair and that I should not drive on. I called a mechanic close to Costco, who kind of shrugged me off because they couldn't get me in that day. I then called ImportDoktor (should have been my first call!). They also didn't have availability but told me how they could tow it to their shop for $125 and get on it in the morning. They were so friendly and helpful that I went with them. From there, they were great about communicating with me, sending me quotes via text. They were able to finish it the next day and left my car ready for me to pick up. As much of a headache as this experience was, ImportDoktor made it as smooth as it could be. Now my car doesn't make the same worrisome noises that it was before.
