Over priced. Charge an extra fee on special oil filer which is ridiculous. Front desk has good attitude. But I am not convinced by the ridiculous charge on the oil filter and more than 10% of basic charges shop supply fees. read more

We've always taken our vehicle here and we sent our son to have his tires rotated and an oil change. We got an $641 bill because they told him he needed brakes and rotors. This was disappointing that they didn't check with us first. Yes he is a young adult but this charge was ridiculous without checking with us first. read more

Location was so convenient for after work repair, but my experience here was so awful I will never go back or recommend anyone to this location. It took them 45 minutes to pull my vehicle into the bay. While this doesn't sound bad, when I arrived there was only 1 vehicle in the garage and they finished and pulled that car out and parked it in the lot 15 minutes after I checked in. The technician brought the customer the keys and the customer went into the garage with the technician and wasn't seen again. After that, all the employees seemed to have gone somewhere or took a long break at the same time As no one was visible in the garage anymore and the desk clerk disappeared too. I watched a gentlemen come in and wait at the front desk for service for 10 minutes and then leave since no one came to talk to him. My repair only took 30 minutes and when they pulled my vehicle out and parked it he placed the paperwork and keys at the front desk and the girl couldn't find them. I asked, very nicely, why it took so long to pull my vehicle in when the garage was empty and now they're bringing multiple vehicles in and the desk clerk got very defensive and rude. Telling me they're short staffed- there were 3 people in the garage plus herself (first she said they had 1 tech then it was 2 techs and they're supposed to have 5 techs), all appointments are told they will take an hour and a half (I was told at checkin be finished in an hour) and she said they might have 3 cars in the garage now but they're only going to work on 1 at a time and those other cars won't be touched for at least 45 minutes even though there was someone at each vehicle, the same 3 guys that were there when I checked in. read more

* My car has been showing me for the last few months that tire pressure is low. It happens on days when the weather is all over the place. I recalibrate the tire pressure settings and the message goes away. On this particular day, I actually went to fill gas and decided to fill my tires as well. That's when I realized after filling 3 tires, that the 4th was not filling at all. It looked flat honesty. The place I was at filled the tire for me, but the next appointment for that location to look at it was 7 PM. The tire discounters was in the area. I went there to have them look at the tire. No appointment needed. They took a look at my tire and advised me of the situation. They gave me three options on what to do to take care of my tire. They didn't not charge me for the evaluation. I advised I would review and consider and then decide. So I left. It gave me time to review the options, research and determine what would be best. I grabbed some lunch and reviewed the options. Thanks to the internet and particularly Reddit, I found this would be a good option to get tires. The swaying factor was that they are readily available and do not require appointments. If you are traveling and something happens, then they are able to help you and assist. That helped me with my decision. I was going to get my tires there. I went back to the location and they were very kind. I got to hang out in their waiting area. They had water, coffee, and outlets in case you needed to charge a device. I appreciated their space. After charging my device, I ended up going out for a walk since there are stores close by and sidewalks. They texted me updates, so I knew when my car was done. As a result, I made it back to the Tire Discounters to get my car. The staff was very kind and they had taken care of my vehicle very well. I was very thankful for what they did. My tires are working well. I have not had any issues with the tire pressures since! Thankful. read more

Paid slightly more than my 'usual' service company, but they were able to fit lemon same day and got me in and out in an hour, so I'm happy paying a little more. Team was friendly and they did a great job with my car; they also checked all my tires and did a free alignment. I'll return again! read more

I never leave reviews but I just felt super disappointed with their service. Staff were friendly but I waited 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. That's with a scheduled appointment! I have always gone back to this place because unlike some other places they never pressured me to buy things I didn't need. But 2 hours for an oil change with a scheduled appointment is insane. Especially when this man came in before me got the same exact thing, same exact appointment time, and left 35 minutes before I did. And even then that's still an hour and 15 minute oil change. This place used to be 30-45 minutes. If they can't accommodate that anymore they need to tell people up front. Very disappointed and unfortunately will be finding another place to take my car. read more

I can't speak to the quality of the service because they told me not to come in when I called. It was too close to closing time. I callled Discount Tire and had a totally different experience. It was also close to closing time for them but they welcome me and stayed open an extra 30 minutes just to make sure that I could drive my car. I will go there for any future tire issues. read more

My daughter and I stayed one night in Louisville on our way to Detroit, coming home from Nashville. Getting in our car in the morning, I realized one of our tires was about flat because I'd driven over a screw. I googled "tire stores" and this was the first one that came up near us. I walked in, obviously without an appointment, and Ryan told me it would probably be a while, but that he would see what he could do to squeeze me in. Whatever he, James, and Jo did to move things around, I'm not sure, but they were so friendly, so efficient and I was out of there and on our way home in about 90minutes. I was so grateful for them! My 21 yr old daughter went in to get one new tire, as she had punctured one. They wanted to replace all 4 tires, that didn't need replacing, obviously at a much higher price tag. When I instructed her to let them know she just needed the one tire, they said they did not have that one in stock and it would be the next day, and they would call her and she could come in at that time. One week later, no phone call. I spoke with them and they didn't seem very interested unless they could sell her all 4 tires. The guy is probably paid a commission for upselling. I'll just move on to a more reputable and professional company. read more

Had the misfortune of two nails in my tire two consecutive months on 71. The first was trickier to spot and second was a clear huge nail. David and technicians remembered me, quickly helped with both, and you could tell valued the customer relationship long term over a quick sale. I am very happy with my experience here. I called at around 8 am to ask if they could do an oil change/tire rotation the same morning. They said sure and I got there around 8:30. My car was ready by 9:30 (I find these things usually take about an hour). Overall it was very convenient and the staff was friendly. We have a new hero in tire discougter on 9710 von allmen ct.!!! While on a road trip, we experienced vibrations. Tire discounters identified the hidden problem that was not visible on the road, but while on the balancing machine, it was obvious that our tire had a separation starting from a blown belt. Paid to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Luckily I watched the guy do my car. Took my car outside without rotating my tires. Ask if he rotated my tires he said no then got back in my car to rotate them. Makes me wonder if they put the oil in you pay for to. Bought 4 tires that was supposed to include tire alignment ($100). My tires were arriving there at 10am. I drove by at 12pm on my way to lunch and my car was in the same spot I left it. Walked in the store at 1pm and they just put it on the rack. TD mounted and balanced all 4 tires. When I asked if them if they aligned the tires the manager said he thought so. I told them that I watched them mount and balance the tires but not align them. The manager went out and talked to the service tech. He came back and told me that he aligned them earlier that morning. I told them to give me the alignment report. The manager said he didn't do one. Before I got in my car I asked the service tech if he aligned them he said that he didn't and he wasn't sure who did. I really don't feel like I can trust TD. Normally when other shops align the tires they produce a report and complete the alignment AFTER the tires are mounted. If you do get service here you might want to watch them throughout the entire process. read more
