The service was incredible. I was told at an oil change that I had a tire with a slow leak but nothing was found in the tread. At TD a nail was found on the side of the tire. Doug explained that a patch wouldn't work, a new tire was needed. The needed tire was purchased from Costco and had a warranty The tire was removed and a spare put on. There was no charge. My husband died last year and he had always handled all car matters I really appreciated that Doug didn't do any high-pressure attempt to get me to buy a tire from TD. He was not in the least bit condescending despite my lack of knowledge. Doug could not have been any nicer or helpful. They first said it would take less than an hour but it ended up being 2 1/2 and I was the last person who walked out and it was closing time. Purchased tires from TD 5,500 miles ago. Free rotations every 5k and within 6,000 miles or 6 months of purchase, they'll fix a damaged tire FREE! Fast forward to now, 11/13/19 15:15. It pays to have good customer service and this place doesn't! Quoted me a price to have a damaged tire fixed and rotation, $45. No big deal, I'll wait in line and figure it out. So I questioned it knowing their policy, paperwork in hand, and Big Biff the employee stomps out of his cave in the back and says, well we didn't know you bought them here. Ever heard of asking the customer, "did you purchase your tires here?"That's where good customer service would be highly effective. Maybe she's carrying tire discounters paperwork for A REASON! I was fine up until Biff comes out questioning everything and acting like he's bothered to deal with it. Condescending, rude and not organized at all. 4 bays open, long wait times. Won't come back to this location. No other customers when we arrived for our SCHEDULED appt and are told it will be an hour. I should have known! It's a plug and rotate, not nasa space shuttle launch codes! Almost 2 hours later, still here. 2 employees in the bay arguing over who's doing what. Both walking around sipping Red Bull's like it's cocktail hour. Employees "friends" pulling up for air in tires and they just walk away from the job their doing to help a brother out. LAZY!!! Not two months after I got a new set of tires, I drove over a nail and hit the sidewall of one of my tires. Not fun. I made my way over to the shop and was seen quickly. The bad news was that my tire was hit in such a place that it could not be repaired; I would need (another) brand new tire. Thankfully, I had purchased the extended road hazard warranty on my tires from Tire Discounters a few months ago. This meant that my new tire -- and the labor to put it on -- was free. The only cost to me was an additional road hazard warranty on the replacement tire, a cost of about $10. While the courteous guys at Tire Discounters got to work, I finished sending my Christmas cards in their comfortable lobby, with refreshments of complimentary Ruffles potato chips and bottled water. Being a teenage back yard mechanic (a long time ago) I generally don't trust a mechanic, especially when we are talking about an expensive repair ($900+). Matt walked me through it and then took me to the mechanic. I knew that he knew what he was talking about almost immediately. Nobody tried to talk me into the expensive repair as they just presented the options and I made the (informed) decision to order the repair. It would have been a 5 star rating as the repair was done well and when scheduled but the parts house failed to include 2 pieces necessary for the installation thus completion was delayed by a few hours until they got the part. read more

I had scheduled an appointment at Tire Discounters but when the customer service rep typed my name in she couldn't find me. Turns out, I went to the wrong location. Even though they had a long line and other folks with scheduled appointments who were in front me of, they still got me taken care of. I got 4 new tires and it only took about an hour and a half. Good luck with this place. Not enough mechanics and the customer service is poor. I had some work done and needed to swap in a new battery and they wanted to charge $55 to swap the old battery with a new one that I paid for. They said "some battery's are more difficult to replace". While I was there, they couldn't get the nuts off two different cars and let one woman leave with 4 of 5 nuts. read more

After inspecting my tires, Andrew informed me that they were in rough shape so I opted to get all new tires. I was thrilled not only with the service but the price as well. Brought my car into Tire Discounters for an issue with one of my tires. They were busy so I had to wait a bit but that is nothing against them. Once my car was brought into the shop my issue was quickly dealt with, I ended up needing a new tire which they had in stock, they changed the tire out for me on I was on my way. I was there for about 2 hours but like I said they were busy at the time and most of that time was waiting for my car to be brought in. The facility is very open and inviting, the waiting area is very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back for my tire needs. read more

Worst customer service and service policy I've ever encountered. Went in yesterday morning at 8 when it's supposed to open. The sign said it was open and the lights in the garage were on, but the doors were locked and no one answered the phone. I called back later to make an appointment for today. Showed up at the scheduled time, 10:30, and told them I needed to be done by 11:45. They didn't even start looking at my car until 11:35. Apparently, appointments mean nothing in the face of walk-ins. However I tried to walk-in first thing yesterday and since no one was there that didn't work either. read more

Clay, the manager of this location, always takes great care of my vehicle and tires needs. I also go there for all my oil changes so I can get my tires rotated at the same time. Saturday we discovered a nail in my tire around 3pm. We immediately headed to the Tire Discounters closest to us. We arrived at 3:15p and the employee working was short and rude telling us there was no way they would have time -- and just left us with no options. My husband called the next close tire discounters and that's when we spoke to Matt the Manager. We explained what happen and he said -- if you all have the time, we have a few cars in front of you, we can make the time. From the moment we arrived he made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Trust me this is not how we planned our Saturday afternoon to play out but Matt made sure we were valued. He was honest, realistic and hopefully about the tire. Beware if your going to get a oil change! This place sucks so much! Josh asked me when was the last time I had a Oil Change I told him I don't remember because I took the sticker down and my Oil was low I think the guy did not put oil in it. This was just a convo. Really I had it done not even 5 months ago. 45 min later he calls said they found no oil in the truck so they have a policy not to change the oil if that is the case! WTF! They are full of shit!!! I'm a women I have no idea it's not my car! It's my husbands Lexus and they would not show me the policy! She said I have to pull that from our books. Sure you do. I went here because they did work on my husbands car before. Well they won't get our business and if I can help it any of my friends too. They suck! Yesterday was a notch above. Brandon was the face of the business that day and I really appreciated his attitude, friendly conversation, and attention to detail. My service came at the end of a busy day where I was exhausted and not looking forward to doing another errand to get my car taken care of. I was told my tie rod had extreme play by this tire discounters and that my car needed brakes. i then drove the car to a mechanic who reported "there was no play in the tie rods and brakes could wait. I also made an appointment in advance was told I would be there for an hour and I was there 2.5 hours!!! read more

I made an appointment in advance for 1:45pm on November 28th to change out 4 tires. I was told it would take an hour. From the time I walked in the front door until I left (the first time) it took 2 hours and 10 minutes. In fact, it took an hour just to get my car hoisted up on the rack. From my observation, there were not enough people in the garage working. There were multiple cars but I only saw three people. In addition, there were also 3 Tire Discounter employees that handled customers in the reception area. There was absolutely no sense of urgency or professional courtesy to tell customers when they would get their car. I had to ask in order to get an answer and was told more than once, "soon." When I finally was told that my car was finished, I was informed it would be $85 (which seems expensive) but I paid it anyway. When I asked about a charge for a $7.00 part on the invoice and what it was, the employee said, "I don't know, it could be a valve stem but I am not sure." NEVER CHARGE A CUSTOMER FOR SOMETHING IF YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. After driving away in the pouring rain, my tire pressure monitor light came on and I had to drive BACK to Tire Discounters and have the tech re-set the Tire Pressure Monitor, which should have been done before I left. I have been here before and have purchased two sets of tires, one at this location and one for my mother in Florence, KY. My prior visits were much better so I have to conclude that it was a bad day (a very bad day) for them. However, they didn't work as a "team" to take care of their customers in the way you would expect. With that said, I still think that professional courtesy should have been extended to both me and others who had exorbitant wait times. I am not sure if I will be back as their customer service record with me is "spotty" at best. What I do know is if this place wants to be a success, some fundamental changes must take place beginning with staff who are unable to say, "I'm sorry for your wait" and explain parts charges to their customers. read more

I needed 1 tire changed on a Saturday at 1 PM. I already had the wheel off the vehicle. It would be a simple swap. (Takes about 10 minutes) The guy at the counter said they close at 4 PM and there was no way he could change 1 tire before they closed. I would need to come back MONDAY. I looked at the clock behind him and pointed out that it was 3 hours until closing. He reluctantly said he could change the tire. I brought the wheel in and the tire I needed installed. When they saw I had my own tire and would not be purchasing one of theirs, they said they couldn't do the job. I have always brought in my own tires to have changed and it has never been an issue before. I will NEVER be going back to them. There are way to many other places that will welcome my money! read more

Location Manager, Clay provided me a quote for a set of tires and assured me that he would document said quote in the system with my contact information. When I contact the location to make sure they have the tires in stock and to set up an appointment Clay conveniently does not recall our conversation, nor does he have anything documented in the system. I voice my concerns and frustrations only for him to be on the defense, meanwhile making many excuses for himself. His behavior during this conversation was beyond unprofessional. He had no desire to make any resolution for the problem. After listening to him talk in circles and defend himself and his error, I asked that the Regional Manager, Dale give me a call. Days later, still no call from Dale. I tried contacting him through the main number for the company, received a call from the Marketing Dept, no idea why they called me. I spoke with them in detail, provided all documentation I had from the original conversation with Clay to include a photo copy of the notes I had written as I had spoken with Clay when receiving the quote. They assured me that Dale would contact me asap, still nothing from him. I reached back out today, only to be informed that they were not willing to do anything to resolve this matter. I have now typed up an email to send out to my entire company letting them know how terrible this establishment is, as this company is listed on our employee discount and preferred list. I am very disappointed in the manner of which this has taken place. read more
