I stopped by after having a sudden fuel leak from the tank on my motorcycle and she found tools I could use immediately to fix it. I stopped at one before this location simply asking for an adjustable wrench and the manager literally told me "we don't have tools for motorcycles," so I definitely wasn't the happiest, but Nikki made it easy to know which location I'll be coming back to if I ever need anything else. read more

This place made me mad! Some time back, I needed jumper cables - they had three price levels. I figured getting electricity from one point to another, 3 or 4 feet away, is pretty basic, so I bought the less expensive set. Cold day, car won't start, cables don't do the job! My neighbor's cables, more heavy duty, work immediately! Fair enough! (Admittedly, months later, as weather was bad, and receipt was long gone) I went back, intending to get credit on a more expensive set of cables, but the store would do nothing! I said "So you don't stand behind what you sell, at all?" And the manager just shrugged! Other than that, store is ok, nothing to write home about. They stock a bunch of car stuff - probably will have what you need. They did come out to parking lot and install a battery. (I just hope it makes it through the winter!) read more

This store may very well meet the needs of customers who know exactly what they want. But I come here instead of buying online or somewhere cheaper like Walmart in hopes of customer support. I have been here twice - once with a question about hubcaps and another for wiper blades. Both times they have an excuse as to why they can't spend time with me. Most recently I asked for advice on wiper blades and help installing them. They said they were shortstaffed and couldn't help - though there were two folks there (one looking bored) and only 1-2 customers. I will not be back. read more

This is one of the better AutoZones I've been to. ( I've been to a ton ) As a " car guy " this is my new go to in the east end. I'm always tinkering with parts and it's easy to order them here if they aren't in stock. Just call and they can have it transferred quickly. I just got some news brakes, fluids and filters for an Acura build I am doing. It was all ordered up in a timely manner and I got a discount on it all too. Sweet. I put on all of the parts and she's driving great. Everything bolted right up with no hassle of getting the wrong parts. ( happens often elsewhere ) This location is on the larger side too which is nice. Plenty of options for oil and cleaners. I'm super picky about what goes on, and into my vehicles. If you don't read anything else about this review, know that the customer service and professionalism of the crew at this Autozone on the 9000 block of Westport (not the one closer to the interstate, the other one) was 5 star yesterday. That being said... If you know me, then you know that me and mechanics don't mix. This is not a purposeful lack of skill, I give it the ol' college try, but I generally pay for my oil changes and such just because I, frankly, know my limitations. So when I went to Autozone looking for a head lamp for my car, I knew I was probably past those limits before I even stepped in there. There were 4 or 5 employees standing around a quiet store and I quickly got the part that I needed. I went out to my car and worked in earnest to get my hood open. I did, I tried. After an appropriate amount of time giving me the benefit of the doubt, someone (Jordan) came out to help. He didn't make me feel bad for not knowing how to do it myself, which is huge for me, just honestly offered to help. He popped open my hood (and confirmed that Buicks, indeed, are tough to open. thank you very much.) and changed out my light. When it was the wrong part he went back inside to exchange it for me. When I followed him in to pay for the exchange and locked my keys in my car he let me use the phone to call AAA. Problem solved, an hour later and comedy of errors aside. A while later when my headlights came on and the left side was still dark, I raced back there right before they closed. The employees recognized me and we figured out that I have more than one light and the wrong one had been switched out. Another employee (I wish I remembered his name) worked with me to switch out this one. It took nothing less than the owner's manual, a set of socket wrenches, a flashlight and pliers. I held the flashlight, and read the manual. I am a very good assistant, if nothing else. All of this for what ended up being $40 in sales. I was treated respectfully, and honestly helped when I needed it. I will go out of my way to come back to this location. They deserve the business. read more

These amazing Autozone workers are amazing. This Autozone Rocks! I had a scary experience last night and they replaced my windshield wiper and properly installed it from having a previous Autozone in Huntsville, Alabama incorrectly install. I stopped at Autozone in Huntsville, Alabama at 9:30pm on my way headed back to Chicago because my dad warned me about some bad storms. They threw my old windshield wiper away and put a new one one but they had a lot of trouble figuring out how the old one got off and decided that one of the pieces that came with the new one didn't fit my windshield wiper and omitted it. They were very friendly and I trusted that they wouldn't send me out into the storm without being absolutely sure, but I should have seen the signs when the older man was saying "wait let me try this" or "let me double check this" - there was heavy rain, strong wind, and lightening and just when it started to lighten up, my windshield wiper flew off my windshield .... so I didn't have a windshield wiper for 3 hours of my 4 hour drive. I explained the situation to this Autozone and they took care of it and were so friendly and taught me how to install the windshield wiper myself next time. They educated me and were so kind and considerate. This was truly a moment a above and beyond service. So grateful for them. read more

I could not have asked for better customer service. I was traveling from out of town and had to Uber to get here, as I broke down in the Target parking lot. They tested my battery, helped me get a solid and economical replacement, and then even ran drove to Target to put it in. Way more than was expected, but definitely appreciated. In the end the battery was bad, but so was the starter, so it wasn't as quick and easy as I thought. Still, I really appreciate the help and service. Highly recommend. read more

Terrible. Just terrible. The guy who helped me wasted 45 minutes of my time to just tell me they got the wrong battery for my hybrid and they can't help change the battery. Then returning the battery was another 30 minute shit show because they had no idea what they are doing. Needless to say I won't be coming back here for parts. read more

Recently I was looking at buying an older German car and ask thier opinion....they pulled up various items that I had purchased over the years and compaired them to what it would cost for the German car. I bought some tail lights form this store about a year ago, and had a tail light go out. I drove to this location and they assisted me with putting the light in no questions asked. I figured I may have to buy a new light for them to help me, but when I explained the situation to them they couldn't have been more helpful.
