We called around to several shops before choosing Texas Sunshades and it was the best deal we found. ($200 for Llumar Air 80 tint on a 2023 Kia Sportage) Very pleased with everything and will go back with future vehicles. I will say, the lobby/office is not really a place you'd sit and wait for a few hours (small and very warm during our August visit), so plan to have a ride elsewhere. Yes, I said it - there was a man driving - that decided he needed to be before everyone, driving on the shoulder and pushing his way through as I was talking with my husband (hands free) on the way home - the man was so inpatient that he drove on the shoulder and I was the one who let him in and he decided to keep hitting his brakes and threaten me that I had to dial 911 and give them the tag number - so these cameras will come in handy to record the violent me first behavior on the roads that are now a permanent effect these days. People have become so rude and don't know how to communicate or show common courtesy to each other since the covid lockdown. Back to Johnny - wouldn't ask for a better person to do business with - he is top of his craft - actually my husband is going back to have his front windows tinted. Thank you Johnny

Lie #1 Dealt with Chris H, nice enough guy. But then you get Ryan involved and the bait and switch begins never honoring the price listed on the dealer website, in fact raising the price up and down 4 times this Friday, so we walked out said we will think about it. As we were leaving I reminded Ryan you have 34 Expeditions on your lot, I don't need to buy one, we explained this to you all in the beginning of the conversation. Spoke with Chris H.through text his last line read "We will not miss your business". So I texted him back and simply asked do you really mean that last line? His response (without reading back) I never say anything I don't mean". I replied, Really you meant "We will not miss your business". Took him a day but I guess maybe someone read it to him or maybe he actually go it - We went back in Friday - and Chris H.was busy so we started working with Elijah, always stating we don't want Chris H.to miss out and we don't want a 1K car payment, again enters Ryan to mess up the deal, First Elijah went back and forth twice then Ryan two more times, Ryan must think people are stupid and can't read, don't have a memory of the previous encounter or how many times he keeps changing the price on the vehicle. the vehicles were listed on their website as 65571 and 65759 (Remember these are both Courtesy Vehicles Considered Used 2024 with +/- 3K miles on them (advertised on their website with less miles) that was Lie #2. They jacked the price at one time to over 91K what the are they thinking. They say you can't have the website price and a low interest rate, I am calling Bull (you know what) these guys are full of garbage, bait and switch tactics at the highest level. A good salesman wants the sale and will make anything happen including listening and hearing your customer (which Ryan lacks in both aspects). A customer can have both - but when you are a greedy dealership - you just keep baiting and switching the price up. When I first met these salesmen (I use this term loosely) 1) no payment over 1K preferably 800 at max 2) Don't want this back and forth 3) I don't need to buy 3) I have a nice vehicle with new trim and tires less than a month old 4) I want the best interest, the website price, and willing to buy your Used Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it 5) the website price for the fact that it is USED / NOT NEW, again non listening is the name of their game. I phoned on the weekend to discuss and Elijah answered the phone in sales - I asked to when Mr. Bonnet would be working I would like to discuss the treatment, Elijah young man, needing the sale that Ryan screwed him out of, asked if I could hold a moment then he put I don't know who and I don't care who he was, I do know his extension is 5895 he called himself the Director of Sales (titles mean nothing to me - for they are just that a title). He said would you be willing to take another vehicle that someone turns is with Buyers Remorse, let's say 20K miles or less on it - I said you do realize I offered to buy your USED Courtesy Vehicle with +/- 3k miles on it - why would I want to go up in miles - I told him this - read the Art of a Deal (read something to help you understand sales) - Understand the want and need - I wanted to buy an Expedition, but I don't need the Expedition. You Need to Sell the Expedition, because at this point you now have 37 Expeditions on your lot all/or most with the 2024 Year on them. I ended the call for I was in the store and don't have more time to waste on this nonsense. I told MR. Extension 5895, I paid cash for my King Ranch Expedition, and my husband just made a 1M deal with a hospital system - my husband went to the table with a deal, they countered, he met them in the middle and bam he landed the deal - he had no need to go back and forth so many wasteful times and ruin it - So comparing this Southwest Ford and my husband - I guess my husband understand the Art of a Deal. Buyer beware before you step in the dealership, take photos of the paperwork they bring with the continual changes in price and payment, I think the Gilchrist family, should pay more attention to their customer treatment and ratings, simply because Ryan and Ext 5895 does not. I should have read here first with all the bad reviews, but we didn't and we went and wasted our time with the bait and switch tactic - I do not need a vehicle, I wanted one - so it is very easy for people like me to walk away from this behavior and bad treatment of customers. I feel everyone needs customer service training, mostly Ryan on how not to lose a deal. Original test drive January 26th, we walked out of, Chris asked us to come back Bell to Bell Friday, January 31st that he would make a deal - above is a combination of those two dates and the mess that occurred.

It took me 3 days of calling to finally get to leave a message. Once the fleet manager returned my…read morecall, I told him what trucks I was interested in and I would pick up the next day. He said he would get the deal put together and get back to me that day. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. I can only imagine how poorly they treat customers if they won't even reply to a company that buys dozens of trucks a year.

What followed was a 15 day ordeal like none other. 3/14 I received a price sheet for the demo Murano, and a basic quote for a 2023 model. The SUV for mom/gma is more urgent, so I schedule an appointment for 3/17 to see both a white and a gray Jeep Cherokee I had also found on their site. The gray one was a bit over $21k. Before getting to the appointment 3/17, I saw the gray Jeep had jumped in price overnight by about $2k. When I asked about it, I was then told it wasn't at their location, though it was on their site just like the white one. Fine, we looked at the white one, which was ruled out as gma's wheelchair wouldn't fit. But, we did find a 2017 Nissan Rogue everyone liked. We had two trade-ins, and I had gma pre-approved for BofA financing. They said we had to finish the BofA application in office. We left the truck trade-in with them, the Rogue was to be cleaned, have final inspection, and be delivered to us Monday 3/20 when they'd take the other trade in. Between 3/20-3-29, I was given varying stories about a part for the heater that needed to be replaced. It was ordered, backordered, delayed, an additonal part needed, service team backed up, new part backordered, wrong part installed, backordered, delayed, Nissan's entire system went down, etc... For 9 days. I also found out that credit was applied for through other lenders in my gma's name, and a loan was secured at a higher rate than what we walked in with from BofA. It was reduced when I found this out, in an effort to keep me from canceling the deal. They also said they'd cover the amount of the small down payment we were making, as a gesture of goodwill and apology. I agreed to wait until the 29th, when I was promised the Rogue would be delivered as they already had the new part. 3/29 - no call, no contact from anyone. I reach out to find out what time to expect delivery only to be told yet again, the part isn't even there. We had gone 12 days at that point with them having our trade-in, and us having nothing in return. So I had had enough, and I told them we'd come pick up our truck trade-in in about an hour and cancel the sale, which we did. We actually got some pushback when I asked to have the contract shredded in front of us, but they did do it. The 15 day experience had been a nightmare, but at least it was over. So we thought... As if there wasn't already enough to the story, the first time my mother went to drive the trade-in truck the day after getting it back, a piece of an interior door panel fell off. It had been removed, broken, and super-glued to reattach, but it didn't hold. (see pics) It cannot be reattached now as they broke the clips, as well. Additionally, she found the cigarette lighter missing. We then found another small panel, behind the hood release mechanism, had also been removed, and simply wedged back behind the hood release. I can't begin to imagine what caused them to do these things. I have never had such an incredibly ridiculous experience at any dealership as I did here at Gilchrist Southwest Nissan. They have lost my service business for my current Murano, the sale and service of a vehicle for my mother and grandmother, and the future sale and service of my new Murano. I would warn anyone looking to buy a vehicle to look somewhere, anywhere else, other than Southwest Nissan, or any Gilchrist owned dealership.

We started with testing driving an SR5 earlier in the day and then we went inside. I had mentioned that I wanted to test drive a Ford Ranger before we make a decision. I guess that is when Sales Manager Gracie Judy felt the need to push me to make a deal right then. After pushing me twice to get a deal done she could tell I was getting upset. Let the salesman do his job and quit being pushy. Salesman Joshua was doing a great job and let the product stand on its own. After that experience I told Joshua that he was the only person I wanted to speak to going forward. We left to test drive a Ranger. After talking with the wife we decided to look at the Tacoma more. Well that didn't stop Sales Manager Gracie Judy from having a condescending comment when we went up there to do some paperwork on a TRD Sport (a higher model truck). Nor could she resist from having a condescending comment when we picked up the truck on Monday. Gracie almost costed this deal. Then Finance Director Justin Bateman told me and my wife that her name would be added to the title of the car. However he didn't do that and only put my name. I wouldn't recommend this dealership and will probably buy my next Toyota somewhere else.

I talked to the assistance store manager which supposedly spoke to the store manager. The store manager didn't give a flip about the situation. I don't have any more time to waste with this ridiculousness! Consumer beware of this establishment!!! I was LIVID when I found out my 81 year old grandmother was charged $100 for an oil change on a 2008 KIA RIO yesterday at Take 5 Oil Change in Hudson Oaks!!! The "tech" told her the regular oil changes last about 2K miles & the premium changes 5K! BS! I tried calling the store. It sent me to some call center where a woman transferred me to that location. At the store, it went to some automated answering that beeped & had no ability to leave a message. I called back. This time, I talked to a man that claimed he sympathized with the situation & said he was transferring me to customer service & they can handle the problem. Y'all, I was placed on eternal hold for almost 30 minutes. I was so mad that I drove to the store myself while still waiting for customer service on the phone that was never picking up. I walk in the store & the man sitting behind the counter was on his phone. I promptly asked to speak with the manager & he said he was the assistant manager. Hands shaking, and trying very, very hard not to completely lose my temper, I explained how one of his employees basically stole from my 81 year old grandmother & I was pissed! I told him I hoped he didn't condone this behavior & explained what had happened. I asked for literature from which they explain the oil changes prices. He goes out into the shop area & produces a disgustingly filthy & greasy plastic pamphlet that is in SPANISH. He said that's the only ones that have to show customers. What!? I ask about the $55 oil change. He says those aren't currently available because who is responsible for ordering the inventory didn't order the items needed for those changes (interesting). I asked about the employee that lied to my grandmother about the 2K verses 5K oil changes. He just didn't know (BS again!). I told him I wanted a full refund for them taking advantage of her & the fact she's on a fixed income. At that time, he proceeded to call the actual manager. He returns & says my grandmother was explained about all the options & he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. Wow, ok! So, folks, I just want to warn you about the deceptive practices at this oil change establishment. Who takes advantage of an 81 year old grandma? Take 5 Oil Change in Hudson Oaks, that's who! I'm completely appalled by the entire situation. I took pics of the receipt, the eternal call waiting for customer service to pick up, the filthy pamphlet, the filthy window & the horrible conditions of their bathrooms. Not that I would ever use a Take 5 Oil Change to begin with, but I dang sure won't now! My mechanics response was "criminal."
