This Kwik Kar Lube location is so superior - I actually enjoy going there! It's a drive thru so you don't even have to get out of the car. All the service techs are professional and knowledgeable, work together, and have a ton of 'hustle' to get you in/out. They check everything without being asked, tire pressures, fluids, reset dash light, etc. all while the oil change is happening. Watch for regular coupons they offer to save a little money too. I went in for a state inspection. 20$. If you get your oil changed with them though, (as I had prior) they have a "top off" policy which includes checking (and filling) other fluids as well as tire pressures. Free of charge. I went for this inspection on a 35degree day just before the snow hit the following day. These guys did not skip out on any of their services despite the miserable conditions outside and were super nice. They said they'd recently changed owners and I can absolutely tell!! The best service I've received this year and I've had some great experiences. After my oil change in Louisiana, I noticed my car was leaking oil a week later. I had done lots of traveling within that time and we had three days of 20 degree weather so for whatever reason, I had an oil leak. I read the reviews for Kwik Kar in Benbrook and decided to stop in. Initially, I was afraid they would turn me away since I had just had the oil changed and had it done somewhere else. I pulled up and was met immediately. I explained the situation and the mechanic just nodded his head and said, "Would you like me to check that out for you?" I was surprised at his willingness to check my car out without an appointment or customer history. He noticed that my registration sticker was sitting on the dash waiting for me to remove the old one and install it and asked if I'd like him to see to that, too. Wow, yes! Thank you, sir. Within 10 minutes, the broken gasket was changed as well as my registration sticker. I drove away smiling. Great service, honest, respectful, professional. Ask for Adam. read more

Not impressed with this oil change depot. Went to get my oil changed they charged me $106 for my Tahoe which is $35 difference from what I usually pay at the moRitz Chevrolet. I called to question why and they said because they put synthetic in my car however they didn't ask me if I wanted synthetic. Blake the assistant manager apologized and told me to come back in and he would readjust and give me the refund for the difference. I went in a week later to get my refund and the store manager argued with me but couldn't tell me why the difference was so high. And continually argued with me. Very disrespectful. Great place to get State Inspection done. Staff is friendly and courteous!!!

The owner of this Kwik Car may want to see the wiper blades that your inspector failed me for. Safety Inspection says ya they are really bad and broken all along the blade so he says he can sell me some new blades or fail it. I looked it over and told him there is only a small place on the far right side of the passenger blade - 1/2 to 3/4" tear but he says sorry, I cannot pass it. I called my brother who has inspected cars 25 years and he said state law says tear must be 1" or more to fail. Consumer advocates warn us about these oil and lube centers and their upsell tactics but acting all dramatic about such a minor flaw that IS NOT outside inspection standards, it's just petty and rude. I left my car and ran across the street to auto zone and got one new 15" blade and replaced it in the parking lot so he had no excuse to fail it anymore. That's 3 cars and 2 motorcycles I own that will no longer get inspected here and my neighbors will hear about this too. read more

Of you need an honest mechanic for your vehicle, please go there! Chad is a throw back in that he is honest and easy to talk to! They work with efficiency and good communication! I went there for some window problems (my power window wouldn't go up or down). All repairs were completed in less than 2 hours, and that included an oil change and some headlight changes too!! The team seems to have good camaraderie as they chatted, worked, and laughed while working. I cannot say enough good things about working with them. And just one more nugget! I drove well over 25 minutes, and passed numerous mechanics on my way there! The attendant came in with my manual. He showed me where my first oil change was at 7500 miles. I have only 2100. I was so impressed pressed with their honesty in showing me it was not time. I've been coming to this oil change place for a few years now and have brought in 2 different vehicles. I think between me buying a Scion xB and then later upgrading to a Toyota Camry, they went under new ownership because none of the same people are there anymore. I did love the old crew! This new one isn't too bad, I suppose. Here's my issue with the place now: The time before last that I had my car serviced, there was next to no one in the line or waiting room. I pulled my car in to the designated spot and went to wait. 45 minutes pass... nothing. The waiting room ends up filling up and emptying out 2 times over before I start to get really annoyed. I went to ask about my car, as I had been approaching the 2 hour mark. THEY FORGOT IT WAS THERE. They hadn't touched it. Obviously upset, I asked how much longer it would be. They immediately grabbed my car and had it done in 10 minutes. Because I don't like the other oil change places in town, I brought my car back today. Out front they have a sign that says "No wait for an oil change!" to which I laughed and told my husband about the last time I was there. We pull in to the back, waited 2 minutes and no one came out. My hubby went up to find someone, they eventually come back, and we hand the car off. I asked, "What's the estimated wait time today?" "At least an hour." -_- C'mon, guys. You can't advertise no waiting when the wait time is AT LEAST an hour. Luckily, it wasn't the full hour, but about 45 minutes. False advertising is not awesome. read more

I had my oil changed yesterday and asked that they check to see if my rear brake light was out, it was. They replaced my bulb, changed my oil and I was on my way. Then I noticed that several warning lights were on; I drove back and they checked it, but the lights were still on. Long story short, the mgr. called a garage that specializes in my type of car and found out why the warning lights were on. Nothing they did, but he pulled the bulb out and the lights went off. He also referred me to the garage that let him know why my warning lights were on. He went way above and beyond to help me and I found a great place to take my car for repairs to boot!
