We came from Cleveland to Detroit for a concert and wanted to take the opportunity for my partner to try authentic Colombian food for the first time. For that reason, the disappointment was all the greater. We ordered three empanadas, two buñuelos, and two hot dogs. Unfortunately, the food fell far short of our expectations. The empanadas had a thick, raw dough; the buñuelos were undercooked, heavy, and tasteless; and the hot dogs were not only disappointing compared to the pictures, but also in taste, which was nothing like what one would expect. However, the most unpleasant part of the whole experience wasn't just the food, but the way our dissatisfaction was handled. We were told to call the owner, but instead of receiving a professional response or at least a willingness to listen, we were met with a defensive, offensive, and completely inappropriate attitude. We were given the impression that we were the kind of customers who just want to eat and not pay, a disrespectful and inappropriate comment, especially considering that the food was practically untouched due to its poor quality. And to be perfectly clear: the problem isn't paying $87. The real problem, in any business, is having to pay for something that was inedible because it was badly prepared. Every customer expects to receive a quality product for their money, and that simply didn't happen here. Reading other reviews and, above all, the owner's responses to negative comments, it's clear that this isn't an isolated incident, but rather a consistent pattern of unprofessional and completely uncritical behavior. As tourists, we left with a very negative impression of the place. This restaurant doesn't represent the quality or flavor of Colombian food, nor does it reflect the warmth and respect that usually characterize our people, and it definitely doesn't offer acceptable customer service. It is, however, extremely MILD. There is just enough seasoning to let you know what you're eating, but it doesn't go beyond identification. For example, i went home and added fresh minced garlic to my garlic sauce so that it tasted like garlic. If you're venturing into Mediterranean food, this is an excellent Starting point.

Mind you I paid 35 bucks for 2 burgers with 1 side of fries. I was not at the drive through of Mcdonalds. Anyways all of these things can be ignored if the food was upto the standard. The chicken piece inside the burger was over cooked, fries in the burger, pale and no flavor, bacon, smaller then a french fry, store bought cheese like it was slapped on top with zero love. I asked for mayo and it felt like they ran out of mayo and just took the last scoop and smacked it on my burger, kept looking for mayo, couldn't find it. The side of french fries was good. No sauces on the burger either. I am highly disappointed and I hope the management reads this and fixes these issues, as I would love to stay a regular customer and change my review back to 5 star.
