It used to be Joanna's Fabric but they went out of business. With this inflation it's always nice when you don't have to pay for parking. While checking out, I used two paper bags and was confronted by an employee who essentially forced me to add the bag charges to my bill. While I understand there is a Washington state bag law, the employee's approach felt completely aggressive and unnecessary for a 24-cent issue. Metropolitan Market already charges premium prices, and being policed over paper bags at a self-checkout is an incredibly uninviting customer experience. I will definitely think twice before coming back to this location.

I circled the block about three times and decided to park on the street around the corner. A clerk inside the store said they have a parking garage - enter from 17th ... UHG! I'll look next time. Since we don't have Trader Joe's in Hawaii, I like to bring snacks home, but I focused this time on those canvas bags and even got some mini canvas bags and the olive green insulated totes! It seems that fresh strawberries and blueberries were a popular item at the time. A clerk came by to replenish a lot of them in an almost empty refrigerator case. Price is always right, service from all clerks and cashiers are very consistent whenever you visit any Trader Joe's in any state. What I didn't expect to see was crowds and crowds of customers during my shopping visit, and the store clerks were extra friendly. Trader Joe's is always a must go whenever on the US Mainland.

The limit for the new green handled tote bag is 4 per customer. I also got some mini totes in the original colors of red, yellow, navy, and green handles. They're just $3.99, plus tax. The limit is 2 of each color. As usual, I looked at freshly cut flowers, greeting cards, and snacks. Everything is reasonably priced and the employees are very friendly and helpful! I decided to shop here while staying in a hotel in Downtown Seattle, luckily it was fully equipped with a kitchenette. It's a pretty well sized store, with a good amount of inventory. A few departments that drew my attention was the deli, and the alcohol aisle. I basically had a good 15 minutes to thoroughly scope out the entire store to get a feel of what they had on special, where everything was located, and how small and condensed it is inside, safe with a security guard keeping customers and store staff safe and secure.
