This is Wallace Wade Stadium. We were walking around duke university and came across as well as Wade Stadium. I guess he is a culture athletic Director for Duke back in the day I don't know but it's stadium is just OK.

I have seen a few games in this Stadium and I haven't had a bad seat yet! I love the location, right next to Cameron Indoor Stadium. Easy access with lot's of gates at the entrance so no long waits. Sections are all well labeled, seats are normal metal benches. You are allowed to bring in seat cushions...or be a season ticket holder and you get one permanently at your seat. I have been down by the field near the students section, super entertaining and loud. Usually I prefer up near the top with a great view of the entire field. Lot's of food and drink options with all the concession stands throughout the concourse. I had fried oreo's for the first time here...interesting. Since their last renovation, they have improved the restrooms. Also a nice club seat area with a even better dining area. Merchandise is available in a few tents to buy your normal fan items, t shirts, footballs and flags. Leaving the stadium is easy and again no crazy lines. You can't beat the price of tickets here either!

Every year, Duke gives free tickets for their employee appreciation game at a home football game. Not only did we get free tickets, but free food vouchers, as well. The BBQ sandwich was very juicy and tender, and the line quick for the food. Many opportunities to win items and enter giveaways. The crowd was lively and we were able to get good seats. I've went to several games here and you can see fairly well from all angles. Love the fireworks during touchdowns. Security was quick, as was check-in for the game. The bus situation doesn't get five stars, but that has nothing to do with the stadium. Great experience!

Wallace Wade is a proverbial living fossil. It's scheduled for major renovation after this season, so if you've never sat on backless steel benches while watching an actual NCAA FBS game in what amounts to nothing fancier than a concrete bunker carved into a 2-acre hole in the ground (but with modern bathrooms), time is running out. No club seating, luxury suites, cup holders. Capacity is 33,941, meaning a full house at Ohio State could fill this joint three times and still have people left over. And the Duke football team is bowl-bound and 7-and-freaking-2 as of this writing, still playing in front of the weakest crowds in the ACC. Forget Touchdown Jesus or Howard's Rock or Death Valley. Kids, come see where your great grandma watched the Rose Bowl, and enjoy the same gnarly tailbone pain she enjoyed. Go Devils!

Nice renovations to a historic stadium! My dad played football here, and I enjoyed hearing his stories. I've been attending games here for years, and the stadium is more comfortable now, with decent concessions and improved bathrooms.

Wallace wade stadium is this beautiful looking football stadium. Why only 3 stars you ask? well...there is a few reasons for that. 1) parking is horrible! unless you are an 'iron duke' or someone who is willing to get there hours upon hours early...then expect to park in the far out parking lots (my lot was near erwin road / research drive). while walking up (since the bus lines were really long), there were a lot of lots that were closer, however people used the extra spots to tailgate in. 2) the stadium doesn't create a 'circle'. therefore the Food court area is all the way near section 20+. if your seats are like mine, (section 12), then you have to walk all the way to the food area, and then walk a while back to get to your seats. if the sides connected, i could just go around the backside and get to the other side of the stadium without any issues 3) the only bathrooms in the stadium (from what i saw) were near the food courts. so, that means if we needed to use the bathroom, we had to hustle all the way from section 12 all the way to the food area (which is always packed) in order to use the bathroom. 4) its a completely DRY campus - this includes the stadium, so no beer will be served! 5) security is more of a 'joke'. They have people checking bags at the front, however they are 'kids'. As i sat down on my seat, i overhead the guy next to me laughing. he said that he forgot to take off his gun from work, as he is a security officer. He told the stadium security, and they said he could go through. nearly every other stadium i've been too would have denied him entrance. That caused me and my kids to relocate our seats. On the positive side...The food that is served at the food court was pretty good. My kids ordered a hot dog, BBQ sandwich (looked like pulled pork) and i ordered a veggie burger. Surprisingly, the BBQ sandwich was great, as was the veggie burger. With the seating...you can buy a 'general admission ticket', which takes you to an area that has bench type seating. This is where most of the students go. Then there are 'actual' seats, where you can pay a lil' more and have an actual seat.

Once upon a time I was an undergraduate here, but it was the 1970s so I can't remember much about, well that whole time really. I was told to leave after about two years (well two years in duration, I had earned only maybe 5 credit hours of passing grades) by a wise engineering dean who told me to get my act together and return to college someday. He said one day I would return with a Ph.D. to visit and think about his advice. I passed right by that building on my way here and remembered that. Parking is a ways from the stadium but it's a pleasant walk depending, I suppose, on your memories and if they haunt you. The stadium itself is underused, this basketball school doesn't seem to have the heart to support their football team. What a shame, they trounced my Northwestern Wildcats and purple almost outnumbered Duke blue in the stands. Lots of faculty and graduate students I suppose. Security is professional, the usher staff was friendly and efficient, there were no lines for concessions and even in the bad visiting team section my view was quite good. I'm not sure all of this would be true if they were even at one third capacity, turnout was dismal. I like that the stadium is low, sunken so that there's a view all around of the taller campus buildings surrounding. It's really a lovely setting.

Good Ole' Wallace Wade. If you know anything about duke you know its a really old and really traditional school and campus. They have recently done a great job with not losing the old feel while adding some modern flare and thats how Wallace Wade feels. This outdoor stadium is ver traditional for a football field. Great big jumbotrons for all replays and advertisement. You get a great view of the screen and the field no matter where you sit in the stadium. The only thing I would add in are heaters because during winter games it gets pretty cold out with no relief from the weather.

Hate to say that the stadium kinda sucked before the renovations, but after 3 years of renovations and a brand new Blue Devils Tower, amongst many other additions, Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium is beautiful and exciting. Only complaint I would have is the parking, Duke University needs to figure that out quickly. Duke Football fans now have a stadium to be proud of to go along with their team.

Situated amongst the academic halls, the stadium is a bit of a walk from nearby parking. The arena essentially has been the same since its construction and has a capacity for 9314 spectators, making it one of the smallest venues for NCAA basketball. That makes it a tough and expensive ticket to get. I was there last Saturday for their game against the SMU Mustangs who are / were ranked in the top twenty five, so of course the crowd was extra lively. Also, they honored the '01 championship team and Coach K was in attendance. It was a great experience. This arena is "hallowed ground" amongst the fandom of college basketball. The history and tradition of Duke University and their basketball program is unmatched in my honest opinion. I'm lucky enough to have attended two games here, the last one being in '18 against my Alma Mater St John's University who got blown out that day. The amenities here are enough to keep you happy. They have the usual arena fare. Smithfield's has a sandwich cart and there are a few Mexican themed carts for nachos and tacos. I think Alpaca Peruvian Chicken has a cart as well. The concessions offer candy, popcorn, burgers, hot dogs etc.. Nothing extraordinary. You can purchase beer and wine. You are here to watch great basketball and not necessarily for the A+ concession offerings that people expect these days.

Las Vegas, Boston, Atlanta among others. There's something different though seeing them play in Cameron Indoor Stadium that I hope every true fan can experience! Been to a few games there now and there's nothing like it. Staff is very friendly and helpful in every way from scanning your tickets to finding your seats. With less than 10,00 seats here, to watch one of the best programs in the country play, this place gets insane! The Cameron Crazies and all the fans get very loud in here. The energy is unmatched. Make sure to come and check out the campus prior to the game, it's absolutely beautiful. Also go check out the campus stores for all your Duke gear/memorabilia needs. I have a man cave in my home with all Duke stuff, which mostly came from here. There's one right across from the stadium. DDMF!

There are also some large fans to help move some air as it gets hot and humid in Durham. The tickets are reasonably priced and it is good baseball. Parking can be a little tricky.. if you come from the right direction, you are pushed right into the parking garage. If you come from the wrong direction, which we did, you run into a lot of closed roads, etc. But it worked out. Definitely buy tickets ahead of time. We showed up once two years ago thinking(like most minor league games) you could get a ticket before the game... They were sold out. So we bought tickets on line. Also, if you want to get a spot in the garage, be there at least 30-45 min early. I am sure there is free parking somewhere that locals know about, but I just went with the 7$ parking.
