Great venue! We visited for the Chinese Lantern Festival and really enjoyed the show. Plenty of parking available, very friendly staff checking in/scanning tickets and running security. After entering, we purchased some food and drinks- all actually reasonably priced for an event space. I got a canned bubbly wine for $10 and we also got some onion rings and apple pie dumplings. Nice to be able to fill up without spending an arm and a leg. The light displays and live performances were great too, very entertaining. I would definitely recommend the lantern festival and I'd come here for a concert too!

Attending the Chinese Lantern Festival at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre was a cool experience. It was really neat seeing how they created different lantern structures from dinosaurs, to frogs and dragons! On top of that, at the festival, was also live performances of acrobatic dances as well as a traditional Chinese face changing dance called bian lian. Everyone that performed was super talented. Most importantly, you will find food trucks offering a variety of different foods (and even alcohol!). I highly recommend going to this festival!

Koka Booth is a beautiful outdoor venue. I have not attended a concert here but did attend the Chinese Lantern Festival in 2021 and enjoyed how spacious this venue is. I enjoyed some spiked hot chocolate from the concession stand and watched the traditional performances during the festival at the main stage. I look forward to attending a concert here in the near future.

Nice overall venue for concerts and other events. Tuesday was our second visit here, the first being in 2016 for the Chinese Lantern Festival. This time it was for the Robert Plant - Allison Krauss concert. Luckily, I wasn't the oldest person in the venue. My date (my wife) was like, "Robert who?" No babe, he was the lead singer for Led Zeppelin not The Who. Growing up we obviously had different musical tastes. No matter where you sit whether it be upfront or in the lawn area, you can still hear the music really well and see the stage. The concession area lines move really quick with fast and courteous service. On this night, there were four food trucks off to the left of the stage near the pond area. We patronized the Charlie Kabob truck. Parking at Koka Booth is fairly simple and easy. There is paid and free parking (while spaces last). The free parking is furthest from the entrance and can be a bit of a walk. Get there early and tailgate to avoid the traffic.

I love this venue! A first-class outdoor amphitheater with excellent sight lines and sound, which is very important for a music venue. The facilities are top-notch and very well maintained. Food and beverage options are terrific. The staff is very courteous and works hard to ensure that a good time is had by all. Of all of the outdoor venues I've been to, this is my favorite.

The Chinese Lantern Festival in Carey, NC is an amazing experience during the holiday seasons! Tickets on off days are reasonably priced with plenty to see. It provides a unique insight into the Chinese culture while also telling some of the Chinese most infamous tales; such as The Monkey King and other lore. They serve warm drinks and food at the festival if you get hungry. Overall a phenomenal experience and highly recommend for anyone to see.

TLDR: Good fairly intimate venue with average alcohol and food sections. Lawn still brings good views, bring a chair, skip it in bad weather. This venue is somewhat dependent on which event and companies are involved hence the negative experiences some people had at a recent popular event. I have only a few check ins here but have been many times for various events and activities. The majority of the time, the staff is organized and it's clear where to park and how to get around. Larger crowds are becoming more common everywhere you may go in the triangle and as such bring some patience and come early. There's very limited covered seating here so plan accordingly if the weather is trash. Okay to bring chairs and blankets. Usually have wine/beer available and a few other small food items. Sometimes events will have a food truck option but usually I've found they stick to the normal concessions. Overall I've always enjoyed the things I've seen here and made a few memories.

I invited a good friend who lives locally and enjoys the town's events, tonight I discovered why. Tickets were affordable at $7 with tax. Several poets and music artists came out to showcase their talents and it was well enjoyed. The popular triangle R&B band NIITO performed live and really tore the house down with their cover songs. This event was well organized and seating was plentiful. We grabbed balcony seats and really enjoyed having our own space away from the crowd. While parking is not plentiful, there are still a few lots and street parking to take advantage of. Come early, leave happy. I look forward to more events and possibly seeing a film here in the future.

There were several very sweet older ladies (likely volunteers) that I talked to about the theater and its history. The theater itself was the original in Cary and had been renovated a couple of times over the years. They have one screen that showed mostly art type films and have some live performances. I would go here if I was living here since it was a type of place that appeals to me. If you live there and haven't been I would recommend, if visiting and staying check it out.

Service was excellent. They played Christmas music which really was special due to it being Christmas Eve. I really appreciated that, and I feel like everyone else did too. When you looked around the restaurant, everyone was having intimate family meals for the holiday. It was really sweet, hard to explain. We ordered the: - Chicken Frances - very good 10/10 - Lamb lollipops - excellenttttt 12/10 - Beef Carpaccio - I didn't love this, the sauce overpowered it but just wasn't my taste. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on their menu.

The crust was a tad chewy, but it was still pretty delicious and paired nicely with the ice cream.

We noticed MacGregor Draft House within walking distance. Of course airline pretzels and stroopwaffles left us feeling a bit like the Donner Party but 10PM also says eat light or invite Stephen King into your dreams. Staff were all exceedingly accommodating and genuinely friendly. The space was large and with a good crowd watching Oregon wishing they missed their flight to Atlanta but pleasantly the noise level allowed us normal conversation without requiring screaming and me sitting on my wife's lap like a huge toddler. The bartender was quick and efficient whipping up a very welcome Paloma and a frosty beer. We ordered tuna (truly fresh like there was a dock nearby) nachos. While initial order input mistakenly delivered onion rings they apologized and comped the rings and quickly brought correct order. Very fortunate mistake as the rings were the right balance of beer batter to onion. Highly recommended!

So I wasn't in the best frame of mind, and I hadn't eaten anything except a handful of peanuts at the dealership. So I guess I needed some depression food. Enter the Big Ben burger. Three beef patties covered with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions & pickles all inside toasted brioche. It came served high on a layer of fries, only to be topped in front of me with a pour of bacon queso. Not a bad buy for 20 bucks. The burger patties themselves were pretty ordinary, nothing special. The bacon queso on the fries was really heavy, but when it's one of those tough periods, you don't really mind! Staff was friendly and engaging, they did a good job keeping our beverage glasses filled.
