Most of the seats are individual seats as opposed to backless metal bleachers. They have lots of concession stands and while I'm not a Duke fan it was pretty cool they had an area where Duke fans could ring the victory bell to celebrate their win over UNC. They also have a ton of restrooms so there's not much of a wait. The stadium is mostly outside so it works well on a clear day but I imagine it could be a mess in a heavy rain. I didn't sit there but for an extra charge you can sit on the party deck where I think you get some free food and a cash bar and a side of an awful DJ. Be prepared to wait for an Uber after the game. There's not really a designated place as far as I could tell so we just walked a ways away on campus and ordered from there. They should think about fixing that. The stadium works for what is, a smaller ACC venue and I'd come back here if FSU plays here again sometime.

We came on a Monday night and had quick and easy access to everything - no lines for Santa & Wool E. Bull photos, letters to Santa, the inflatable slide, and s'mores stations. We easily spent a few hours walking around with our kids enjoying all the lights and activities. It was the perfect evening! The kids also did a scavenger hunt and turned the paper in for a prize. The staff member working gave them an extra special prize that my son had adored - a replica of the 2022 championship ring!

The play equipment was fun and in great shape. The walking paths were very pretty. The building has bathrooms inside which is great, although more than half of the stalls were lacking toilet paper. The grounds consisted of native plants, lush trees, magnolias, open green spaces with benches for resting and incredible buildings of Gothic architecture. The chapel was open and available for viewing. I highly recommend taking a peek inside this huge iconic chapel in the heart of campus. What a lovely place.

The stadium has updated it's field...and the Eagles and the Marching Sound Machine look great as they play and perform. The stands are comfortable in the sense of stadium seating. Concessions at the stadium range from potato chips and popcorn to fish and chicken platters. You can even get funnel cake if desired. Security is always great!! And views of the surrounding campus areas is really nice. Especially the new practice/soccer field. The track is very nice! I used to be a runner, but only wish we had such high tech fields in the past.

As I waited in line, I witnessed a student who was trying to follow the proper rules for having a spouse receive a card. English was not this person's first language and I witnessed the card office employee 1) speaking very rapidly 2) speaking loudly and generally NOT trying to facilitate the transaction that their office is supposed to handle. I had a similar experience with being turned away from having my child receive an id (for the family gym membership that we've been paying for) because we hadn't jumped through the various hoops (which take DAYS to process) THEY NEVER INFORMED US WE NEEDED TO DO. Physically going to the office is a massive pain: there's barely any parking and there is usually a line---so being turned away for not doing something that we weren't told we needed to do---is frustrating.

There are also some large fans to help move some air as it gets hot and humid in Durham. The tickets are reasonably priced and it is good baseball. Parking can be a little tricky.. if you come from the right direction, you are pushed right into the parking garage. If you come from the wrong direction, which we did, you run into a lot of closed roads, etc. But it worked out. Definitely buy tickets ahead of time. We showed up once two years ago thinking(like most minor league games) you could get a ticket before the game... They were sold out. So we bought tickets on line. Also, if you want to get a spot in the garage, be there at least 30-45 min early. I am sure there is free parking somewhere that locals know about, but I just went with the 7$ parking. They also sell Durham Bull beer there which isnt half bad!! This is a great park and was a good time!

That said, the experience is fairly modest and doesn't take long to see. The facility feels more focused on serving local baseball than catering to tourists, and while you can still picture scenes from the film, visitors expecting a polished attraction may come away a bit underwhelmed. In a funny way, maybe that's part of the authenticity. The worn-down feel and lack of frills almost provide an honest glimpse into what minor league baseball was like for generations of players....long on character, short on luxury. While that perspective gave me something to appreciate, it wasn't enough to make the visit a destination in itself. For fellow Bull Durham fans, it's worth a quick stop if you're already nearby, but I wouldn't dedicate a significant portion of your trip to it. If you're attending a game or actually getting the chance to step onto the field, I suspect the experience would be considerably more memorable.
