Came here to see the Richmond Kickers play here memorial day weekend. A very nice stadium for a usl league 1 team. This is MLS quality. They could use more drink options for non alcoholics but otherwise no complaints.

I really appreciate this space for sports. It's incredible that the kids in the community get to use this facility. Sahlen's stadium - got to watch an NCFC game there. Pretty neat seats and amenities around. For most of the games, you can purchase parking in advance. Check out the map to find the right parking lot for your event.

Love this sports venue! Every seat in the place is close to the action. Ample safe parking with easy to follow parking attendants. Parking was $10, but we had an electronic parking pass. Our tickets were also electronic and were scanned from our phone. Security and staff were super friendly and seemed very laid back. Limited food and beverage choices. We had Michelob and Shot Gun Betty--cold beers cost $7/$8 each and local peanuts in the shell. We watched the storm clouds darken and roll in dumping lots of water as we ran to shelter near the concession stand. The clothing sales booth conveniently sold rain ponchos among other team shirts, tervis cups, hats, scarves and more. Great talent on the well maintained field. Once the rain passed, we dried off our seats (yes I bring a beach towel) and enjoyed the cooler temperature.

Pretty decent venue for professional soccer in the Triangle. It's a big complex with several pitches (I guess for tournaments) but also a stadium where the local professional men's and women's teams play. You have to pay to park but I also noticed several cars parked on a side road across the street. The women's team right now is better than the men's and features some World Cup players (both for the U.S. and other countries). I believe their crowds are larger than the men's as well, unless the men are playing a friendly with a foreign team -- then it can be packed. There are lots of families and soccer teams here, and a fun section of loud fans cheering on the local teams. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

This was my first time at the soccer stadium which I was really looking forward to experiencing since I'm originally from Texas. I came to see the Houston Dynamo vs North Carolina FC in a open cup match. I loved the path that led to the stadium because it simply was beautiful. I am a supporter of RGV FC which might have the best USL stadium but this one has a much smaller community feel to it. The game was great and the crowd was a great group of friends that support their local team which is always great for the growth of the sport in this country. I hope they continue to grow and that they one day can be part of major league soccer. I recommend coming to the stadium to watch a match to anyone that might be in town because it sure is a great experience!

A great place to enjoy watching a soccer game. Parking is ample and the distance between your car and stadium is a breeze. They are currently expanding the seating, so watch the signs for the best of the two entrances to use based on your seat location. Most seats are only accessible from the lower / second entrance that just down the front side on the right. I personally sitting in the main stadium section because it puts your back to the setting sun... much easier on the eyes!

Yes, that was the team I played on, mind you, I had about 4 pretty tough guys playing with the two of us ladies that were on the team. I managed to "dodge, dip, duck, dive & dodge" the ball as the pre-training from the movie "Dodgeball" emphasizes. It was a fun time with a great group of people, if you're so brave as schedule yourselves in there and play dodgeball or anything in a team atmosphere, go for it, its an awesome place.

You can register a team for a fee and they organize the match-ups for a season's worth of games (a few months). But be warned that some of their games can be scheduled as late as 11pm.

We arrived 1.5 hours early, and we were very surprised to see hundreds of people already there. We got to our seats and then decided to grab some dinner. We had looked at the website ahead of time for our options. However, some of the options were not easy to find- for example, the hot dog place is actually inside where the seats and arena is, instead of around the concourse with all the other restaurants. The mac'n'cheese place was on the third floor and a bit confusing to find. However, the bratwurst was delicious, the nachos near section 103 were tasty (the chicken is a bit spicy), and the burnt ends mac'n'cheese is a very generous portion and stays warm all the way back to your seat. The entire arena was very clean, including the bathroom. The attendants everywhere were all nice and very helpful. Getting out was actually really easy as well. There are tons of parking attendants ensuring traffic flows well. We were quite impressed at how smooth the entire experience was.

The Wake Competition Center is a big sports campus including the Invisalign Arena that houses the ice rinks and cafe, as well as other centers for gymnastics and volleyball that I saw and large fields for outside sports (see their webpage for details on all aspects of this multi-sport complex). Those outside sports fields were packed with people when I went in, as it is mid soccer season. The sports fields were very well kept from what I saw, very nice. I ventured inside Invisalign Arena and saw the ice rinks (one Red and one Black, for the Hurricane team colors). There was a bit of rink action going on while I was there, and not only can you sit in the stands to watch but also there are seats with tables lining the rink like a work area (see pic). This place is a pretty impressive ice sports rink facility and the arena was as packed inside here as the outside fields were, this is a bustling place! There appears to be ample parking but again it was near capacity when I visited on the weekend. I think this sports complex is pretty nice and has a lot to offer for an active sports area like the NC Triangle, I dig it!

Through the years the University has done an adequate job adding, enclosing, building, and ultimately enhancing the fan experience. Concessions have come a long way too, with the addition of food trucks and alcohol service. One caveat, be prepared to pay with credit, no cash accepted. On a personal note, I attended with one of my BFF's who I had not seen since he attended the Demon Deacons game in November '18.
