Yes, that was the team I played on, mind you, I had about 4 pretty tough guys playing with the two of us ladies that were on the team. I managed to "dodge, dip, duck, dive & dodge" the ball as the pre-training from the movie "Dodgeball" emphasizes. It was a fun time with a great group of people, if you're so brave as schedule yourselves in there and play dodgeball or anything in a team atmosphere, go for it, its an awesome place.

There's ample parking, a snack shack, and courts to the right and left. When I've attended, pretty much every court is in play -- soccer, hockey, and volleyball. You can register a team for a fee and they organize the match-ups for a season's worth of games (a few months). But be warned that some of their games can be scheduled as late as 11pm.

The Durham Bulls have the benefit of being the background for the famous movie with Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon, so they definitely have the gift shops with the merchandise. 2 of my buddies bought "Lollygaggers" shirts. The beer selection was also impressive with at least 3 local breweries being served; Wicked weed, Noca, and Foothills. The ballpark is beautiful and the perfect urban minor league stadium,

It's never too busy which is great as the worst thing is to get psyched to play and to go to a public court only to find the courts all taken and having to act like a beggar asking how much longer each court plans which can annoy a lot of people. Drowning out parents' chants of support for their kids? Childish. UNC should be ashamed to allow their supporters to drown out the sounds of proud chants and call-outs for the visiting kids, and then follow it up with mocking the visiting team's players. Mocking student athletes sweating their heart and soul out on the field? What the hell kind of parent does that? UNC parents do. At least one UNC fan sitting on our side yelled out "show some class!"
