Initially, Sterling told me that there would be no one available until Monday morning, but offered me info on another company if I wanted to check with them instead. But then, within the hour, they figured out a way to get the last of their guys who was still out in the field over to my place for a diagnosis. Guy was here in under an hour. What's more, to make sure everything was well and truly addressed, the boss himself stopped by on his way to a birthday party to offer a little oversight, hands-on assistance, and some on-the-job staff training. Sterling ended up pumping my tanks, which was fine, but there was no charge for the extra service call, which was even better, and everything was resolved by 6:00 PM. These folks could have easily said, sorry, can't do anything until Monday, and I would have understood. Instead, they went the extra mile for a good customer - and now they've ensured that they'll keep that customer for many years to come. He had the covers up and was assessing how full it was in the meantime. The 2 guys from the pump truck were very friendly. They all work well together. At the end I went over the charges one at a time bc if I'm spending thousands on my home, I want to understand and approve of the numbers. He didn't mind at all. One said it would cost $1000K+ to fix, the other recommended replacing our 6 year old water heater (which is working fine btw).
