Homeservice Plumbers did great work for us on a clogged downspout drain. We had success clearing the first portion of the drain, but needed professional assistance with clearing the rest of the blockage. Eli did a through job up to 50' limit of his auger tool. Based on what I've recently learned with roots growing through drain pipes, I would opt for clearing drain pipes with a mechanical auger rather than a hydro jet since something is needed to cut out the roots. After the initial drain clearing, we paidfor an additional service to get a camera into our drain to see if there was any additional blockage. Hudson answered our questions about whether there were any additional blockages up to 100' (there were none), the path and slop of our drain pipe, and the location of low points in our drain pipe with a tool that identified the exact location of the camera. Though the cost of the appointment to use the camera was not inexpensive, I appreciated that we did learn useful information from the use of the camera. read more

Jared came to helps us assess if we had a outdoor plumbing leak.. Our water bill was extraordinarily high for July. He came promptly on time, and helped us find the correct outside water gauge, and did quick tests to determine it was NOT an outside. leak. Checked out outside spigots, and then checked our toilets to adjust the water levels on both toilets. Then proceeded by NOT charging us ANYTHING??? Jared was extremely nice, precise, and on time. So easy to book a service with them through Yelp. I didn't need them out quickly but they happened to have good availability. My drains are unclogged and the service tech they sent out was friendly and knowledgeable (I think his name was Eli). I was very impressed with the value I thought I was going to have to pay an arm and a leg for unclogging the toilets but they were just $99 each drain and only one ended up needing it. They could have charged me for both but are fair and trustworthy. I will be using them again next time I need a plumber! They also didn't drip toilet water all over my house so no mess was made in the process. Very impressed with this trustworthy company. read more

The three stars given reflects an average of three visits: two times when I received outstanding (five star 2x) work at a terrific price and one, more recent (one star) disappointment. In the first two cases they cleared a drain quickly and for just $75, in the other they just opened up an angle tap on a faucet and didn't charge at all! My recent disappointment was with a bathroom sink with a a slow drip at the hot water handle. The technician told me I needed a new valve cartridge (correct) but that wasn't possible to get spare parts for this manufacturer, Graff (incorrect) recommending that we replace the whole faucet for $762 in parts and $750 in labor. Before accepting the quote I looked into it myself and easily found that the parts available directly from the manufacturer with a lifetime warrantee such that the parts were FREE! So while the proposed invoice quoted about $1,500 for the job, the actual correct cost should have been $0 in parts and perhaps a few hundred dollars in labor to replace just the faucet cartridge. As this something I can easily do myself when the parts arrive I will in the end spend exactly $0 doing it myself. I'm going to accept that it was an honest mistake (the manager responded kindly to my complaint and assured me that the tech had tried to source the parts locally to no avail and simply made the mistake of not also trying the manufacturer) and thus I have revised my score up from its original one star rating. read more

They not only responded so quickly on Sunday and came out on the same day services, but also they didn't charge me saying that the issue was not hard enough to solve it. The technician was very kind to explain what might cause the issue and what they are going to do solve this issue.
