Hard to explain but like products seemed to be far apart which made it a little bit difficult to navigate. There are signs that hang off the end of each aisle but you really have to walk around to read them. Higher signage would be great. Pricing is kind of high and not everything was labeled. For example, I was in desperate need of some decent chapstick and found an aquiphor display shoved into an aisle. There was a 2 pack of lip balm, which was perfect because my daughter said she needed some too. No pricing on the display so when we checked out I was pretty surprised when it was almost $10! For 2 little tubes of lip balm! I bought them anyway and honestly now I'd pay double for the stuff because it's great, but long story short there was some sticker shock with that as well as a couple other items. This was a few days after Halloween and they had a big display of candy for 75% off which we def took advantage of- so at least there was that! Check out was quick- the store was pretty quiet so there was no line. Make sure you have a store card so you can get the sale prices that are displayed.

Wife had a vaccination scheduled and I called to set one up around the same time. After calling and being hung up on for over an hour on Friday, the woman finally answered and said I didn't need an appointment. Showed up at 12:30 PM. Was 3rd in line. Longer line formed behind me. All 4 people in the pharmacy looked at us and did nothing. The woman in the front waited over 25 minutes while the whole pharmacy ignored the drive thru and the line. After 35 minutes it was my turn. I asked for a flu shot, and they said they were going to lunch at 1:30. I advised it was only 1:05 and my conversation the day prior. She said the pharmacist doesn't want to do it today and to reschedule. I asked where. She said online. I went to Stop and a shop and got right in. Wife went later in day. Woman in front of her waited for an hour after her appointment to be seen. Pharmacist said they were "really busy". It was just the two of them with no one in drive thru. Wife waited 50 minutes for a vaccination. New pharmacist is slow and unwilling to factor bedside manner in with patients. Staff cares only about lunchtime. Will be moving to another Pharmacy after 30 years.

As much as the government wants people to get vaccinated, they seem to make it pretty difficult and time consuming to get it, especially for those choosing this particular vaccine. I'd about given up on getting vaccinated altogether when a friend mentioned she thought Hancock's Pharmacy had the J&J vaccine on hand. I called to see if they had it, and if so, to make an appointment. The pharmacist I spoke to confirmed they did indeed have the J&J on hand and in fact it was the ONLY one they offered. I then asked to make an appointment and was told they're doing walk-ins! Holy macaroni! That's almost TOO easy after all the BS I got everywhere else. I drove up the 7 miles, walked in, filled out a couple of forms, and abra cadabra, I was one and DONE! They kept me seated for 15 minutes to be sure I had no adverse reactions and off I went. If my part D prescription plan used Hancock's Pharmacy, I'd use them for certain. They even had a better selection of greeting cards than Walgreens or CVS! THANK YOU my local pharmacy! So she asked me to help her out, get some prescriptions and OTC stuff at this Walgreens, right near both our houses and drop it off on her porch. Sure, is Sunday afternoon, I'm not doing anything else. Go to the pharmacy, easy as pie. Bam, get the Rx. Time to get the OTC stuff via curbside to go and this whole trip will be 15 minutes. Park in the curbside to go parking spot, call the store, tell them who I'm picking up for, "OK we'll be right out." 10 minutes later, nothing. I text her, she says she'll call. 5 minutes later, "OK, they said they'll be right out." Another 5-10 minutes go by, I call again, and then they tell me I need to come in to present my ID. This isn't ideal, because I have a toddler, who hasn't mastered wearing a mask yet, but I could have made it work, if I had just known right away that I needed to go in (like if the guy on the phone had just told me the first time I called?). Also, why can't they just check my ID in the car. Also, if they didn't realize that they needed ID prior to hanging up the first time and didn't have my number to call back, just walk out to my car and tell me. And then, why lie/withold this information from her when she called too?? I finally went inside, and they didn't even care about the inconvenience. Would have easily been a 5 star review for the pharmacy, but the curbside fiasco, waiting almost a half an hour drove that way down.
