CVS is our go-to pharmacy to get our medications. I like that they are refilled automatically each month, and they notified us when they're ready. Any questions I have on medications, I ask the pharmacist, who is always very helpful in answering my questions. I also come here when I want to print some of my photos. We really don't do too much shopping here because we find them to be pricey. You can find a little savings using their app, and no matter what you purchase, you can always count on receiving the world's longest receipt. read more

So many errors. Worst, my med given to someone else, when notified NEVER backed it out. Tried to fill it told I already signed and picked up. Nope. Another client signed and picked it up. Long fight ensued. I transferred my profile to smaller pharmacy WHO DELIVERS, CVS does not and said I would still be using them for 24 hour, emergency etc. Critical care pulmonology called script to CVS, my new smaller pharm not open. I was never notified CVS received it. 24 hours later and an ER visit later CVS pharmacy said you moved to another pharmacy. Neglect, negligence and retaliation. Then I get message, to save their asses, there is an order issue. Mind you now 26 hours later told by another pharmacist insurance issue Dr contacted. Can they say lawsuit? Doh reports, licensing complaints? CVS played a very dangerous game and now they will pay for it. read more

Very hostile and unhelpful leader of pharmacy services. Told me this is not a reception line when he could've easily made it work for me, after he refused to serve me and told me my psychiatrist was wrong very coldly (I'm the customer). Even if the issue desk couldn't process my single order that I went back to the store twice on my day off for, he could've had the nerve to look me in the eye and tell me he doesn't care about those he "serves". Doesn't deserve to remain employed another day and wreak havoc here, wouldn't be surprised if I'm his last review of many poor ones. Glad that's behind me and I hope others stand their ground. read more

This store and company are terrible. The store in particular is understaffed, disorganized, filthy. Now they are doing this DUR thing, where they won't give you your meds until the pharmacist has lectured you about it. Since this bs started, I will be switching pharmacies even though I'll have to drive further. read more

I can't count the times my prescriptions have not been ready. The people are friendly. The store is clean. The front registers are sometimes a nightmare. I've switched to Caremark their mail order division. At least I can get 90 pills at once. I would think it would be the opposite but I'm happy with the mail order. My advice. Sit down and put a plan in place for the pharmacy to get rid of the chaos. Hire one or two more people back there. read more

Don't even think you can phone the pharmacy. You will need to answer a thousand prompts and then be told to leave a message.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. More mistakes and screwups have happened here than at any other pharmacy I've ever used. Don't waste your time. RiteAid is across the street and there's a different CVS at the other end of town. They lose your prescriptions, misspell your name, (and then tell you that insurance isn't valid) and call the wrong doctor's office. It would be funny it it weren't that you needed your medicines. They also have some very snippy/rude counter help (techs?) Seriously, something is very wrong with how this pharmacy is run. read more

Used the minute clinic at this location and it was just absolutely awful. The person "taking care" of me was rude and unwilling to help in the simplest way. I have had good experiences at other minute clinics, so I would just go to Waterbury or north haven instead. read more

I am very disappointed in this store. This isn't the first time the pharmacy has messed up my medication brand. I have been on the same medication for many years. They filled one of my medication save the day. I'm not using the specific brand that has always been called in by my doctor. I got home open the bottle and noticed it was not the right one. I immediately called the pharmacy I was told to hold onto my medication I have received, Until my brand was available so I started calling at least every other day to see if the brand and manufacturer was available. Today I called and they told me it was still not available but I spoke with the pharmacist named Doug who was extremely rude to me, now telling me he will not take my medication back even though this is not my fault once again! So when I run out of the current medication I am taking with the correct manufacturer, what would CVS like me to do?? You don't mess with peoples medications! A text message or phone call or even telling me at pick up that it's not the right manufacturer would have been great, so it could have been sent to a CVS that has it. read more

Service is awful. Call in for a refill at 9am and it's still not ready at 4pm. Frustrating to deal with!!

If you want "stupid and stupidier".... go to this pharmacy I am a 70 year old senior citizen I went to the mini clinic I had been 3 days earlier They refused to give me a test because month was incorrect ( off by one digit) I sat in line for almost one hour until they administered Even the head nurse ...Eartha....refused to give it to me They had my ID... My Chart info...and still refused and told me to come back I am going to the State of CT and all the executives at CVS and mini clinic executives They go out of their way to hire the STUPIDEST and incompentant workers read more

I'm a college student and have been using this pharmacy throughout the semester and every single month when I come to pick up my prescription there's some issue and they're so rude. I totally will not go back to this place again. Total incompetence and miscommunication when I was told to wait 20 outside for scripts and after over an hour they were still not done. They took every car other than mine and didn't talk to me again until i started screaming. They said miscommunication, they thought I'd been helped, but then said it would be another 20 min! Breathing issues in the heat in a car - I lost it and told them to transfer to a different one I'd never be back again. I am just catching my breath now after nearly two hours. Never again - useless!!!!! read more

I think I am getting older but I do enjoy going to CVS! It's a great place to find some deals on some holiday decorations or candy or some grocery items. They also have a great selection of over the counter medications. read more

This minute clinic is awful. Zero integrity. I arrived at 5 having read they were open until 530. A mother and child went in before me, and as I went to sign in, the computer stopped allowing arrivals at precisely 5pm. The mother and child left at 515 and I asked the nurse if she could take a quick look at me. All I got was " Sorry, they beat you to it." Really? This is medical care? If you're in the medical field you shouldn't turn people down especially when it would take all of five min to look at me. And don't say you're open until 530 when the computer stops allowing patients at 5! read more

This place...ugh. I have had several issues with this place over the course of a few years I have been going. Unfortunately it is the closest to my home, so I get stuck going here. I had to file a formal complaint against the Tech that works there named SARAH who happens to be the rudest and most deplorable human being I have had to deal with in a long time. My husband is diabetic, and we sent in for a refill 1 week before he was going to run out. It looks like they needed "authorization" and said to him numerous times they were "Waiting for the doctors office to respond" not knowing that my sister in law WORKS at the doctor's office. They had already provided CVS with the necessary info they needed to fill the RX. Then when we went to pick it up, they kept lying and saying it "wasn't ready yet." We went there 3 times in 3 days. On the 4th day, it was time to speak up. At this point, I was about to loose my mind. Short of a meltdown, I asked why it was not filled yet. Sarah made up some ridiculous statement that maybe it was an issue with our insurance company. I said that we have state insurance and that we are fully covered by diabetes medicines due to the HEP program, she rudely interrupted me and said "you have state medical that is why" insinuating that we are on WELFARE. I explained to her that our "state insurance" is because we are STATE OF CT EMPLOYEES and we do not have welfare. Then I went on to explain that she needs to fill it and fill it now, since it is a very important medication that we need for his diabetes. She is so rude. The only saving grace of this entire place is the head Pharmacist named Connie who goes above and beyond and makes you feel welcomed. HE was not there during this issue, but once I filed my complaint with the CVS HQ, they promptly called me to discuss and he pulled me aside to talk about it. Now, every time I go they know my name, and everybody is super nice. It should not take this type of issue in order to get good customer service. Connie makes you feel like you are at an old time store, and he knows everybody's names. I like that. Other than that, Sarah should get fired. read more

Today was the epitome of what customer service should embody. Cashier Brandon was such a delight! He had a warm smile on a dreary day, and was extremely pleasant. More importantly, he was quick and accurate in the Pharmacy. I was in and out in under 4 minutes! No hassle, no problems. Brandon has restored my faith in this CVS location (in reference to my other visit/review). read more
