Mari that worked at the photo area today was very rude for no reason except maybe I wasn't Mexican. I was the first in line in front of 3 other women and she had told me that she'd be right with me, instead helping the other 3 women first. Then said my online photo order wasn't paid for even though the app asks for payment, as I'm trying to find my order receipt she tried to push me to the side again. Pretty sad experience as Walgreens is already facing plummeting sales. read more

I was worried trying to pick up a prescription here because of the reviews and they're all correct. The pharmacy is inadequate as far as pharmacists, professionalism, and useful help goes. I called 3 times to avoid having to come here. Each time my call was disconnected after being transferred to pharmacy. I HAD to come in unfortunately. I've transferred many prescriptions very quickly and easily before and have had them in hand within an hour or two elsewhere. First interaction with what I assume to be an tech. Friendly but ditsy.. I told her I'd like help to transfer my prescription to this location from San Diego. She said yes we can do that then we just looked at each other for about 15 seconds of uncomfortable silence. She said one sec and then helped 3 cars in the drive thru. Talked to a pharmacist, came back and said "you have to have your doctor change your prescription location" ............ Here we go........ Tell me you guys are lazy without telling me you guys are LAAAAZZZYYYYYY. Blonde older pharmacist then comes over to investigate why I'm so stumped only to cut me off mid sentence while she incorrectly assumes what I was going to say and gives off handed answer. Surprise surprise. Now they can't find any info on me whatsoever. I just picked up a prescription from my normal Walgreens within the last 2 weeks. I walked away mid sentence following her conversation etiquette. They just need to close the pharmacy down. read more

Went to Walgreens today for a Covid test appointment and was denied! Managers reason was because I had tested the day before. I explained to him that I am traveling overseas and I need two tests (one for departure and one for arrival - more than 24hrs apart). I have to prove the samples were taken within 72 hrs. This 2nd test is one I desparately needed to board a train at my destination. Now I have no way to book another test as today and tomorrow are all booked! My only hope is that the airport I land at will have an available slot for a Rapid PCR test. If I want to be tested everyday, thats my business - not yours!!! Many people are tested constantly - it's called being proactive! No one should be denied healthcare! I will be talking to legal services soon. This is not over. Stop making up rules!!! Incompetence. Ignorance. Ill intent. The pharmacist named Cathy is one of the most disgusting, incompetent people my family has ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My chronic illness is causing me to slowly die and she raised her voice at me on multiple occasions, called me a drug addict, accused me of trying to trick her or whatever when I get confused trying to sort my 423742384 meds out (which happens often) and has ILLEGALLY withheld meds on multiple occasions, which we found out about later is absolutely not allowed. She has refused to fill meds well within the acceptable date, just because she has decided she doesn't like me (I "look weird", according to her). She has made it known over the last few months in particular that she takes great pleasure in inflicting pleasure and stress upon me and I implore people to avoid such a psychopathic individual if you're already dealing with the stress of, you know. A horrible death and excruciating pain the rest of your life. The other Asian pharmacist is wonderful and I have nothing but kind words for her and one or two of the techs. The rest of them.. jesus. Tanya, the pharmacist, is genuinely interested in her patients, is friendly NS professional. She goes above and beyond to find the correct drug company who make something you need, gives very kind counseling for a new drug and follows through. The gal at the drive-through was very helpful. I am absolutely annoyed. I made an appointment for 10am today for a Covid test. I come all the way to Vista to get tested because that's the only place that had openings and when i arrived with my confirmation email the girl at the pharmacy drive thru tells me that they don't even have my information or my appointment set up so she has to just call me back later to let me know when I can come. Are you kidding me? I have an 81yr old grandmother at home, this is important. The girl did not try to have me wait a bit to try and fix it or get a manager to see what they could do. This was just my experience but I went in to get the flu shot and it took 35 minutes for them to process my initial paperwork. Another 40 minutes for them to get me to the second stage of me getting the shot. That's when I left. The clerk that was running the pharmacy at the time didn't seem to be at all interested either. The pharmacy there is where I have always gone to get my flu shots but I will not be going there if that's how they're going to be treating people. The front of the store, however, it was a whole different story, courteous as ever cashiers were just as quick as always. read more

I can here for a COVID test, since one of my coworkers had COVID and I was going to be traveling soon. Walgreens advertised getting results next day, which was important to me. I took my test on Monday at 9:00 AM, and it's currently Wednesday at 4:00 AM. I still don't have my results, and I've made a dozen phone calls trying to track it down. This has been a huge headache and has ended up costing me hundreds of dollars and now my girlfriend is mad at me. Covid testing is more of a disservice that Walgreens provides. read more

After going to 2 other local Walgreen's Bobier had the item I was looking for. I had a previous store call ahead and hold it at the front. Although this location is somewhat newish I'm thinking corporate renovated many of them because My old thoughts on Walgreen's in general was pretty lackluster. What's weird is that from afar Walgreens with their lighting and windows looks nice, but the parking lots are usually a mess. A lot of times it's not much faster to come here versus larger places for things because the customers are either slow, distracted, pre-occupied or the cashier service is poor. There goes your convenience. It's hit or miss, some employees are a dream, but most are not and it's sometimes not their fault, but the procedures of management. I like the register island in the middle, but usually what happens is 1 line is super long and people don't fall in. perhaps they funnel them to better serve those of us who don't hold up the line. They have a pretty snazzy new cc payment machine and good lighting, and of course decent tobacco selection. They stop selling alcohol at a certain point which I was told prior to their 10pm close. The pharmacy and drive thru are confusing, but if you go inside, it's always almost the entire back wall or corner and usually before 8 it's busy. What's nice is they don't have as many trinkets at the front, but the cashiers are generally a few minutes late to the fray during rushes. The prices can be a bit of a mess, but seems that every problem I've seen at one store is solved at others and problems there weren't issues elsewhere, so I find it hard to blanket this location. read more

I have never really gone into a Walgreens Drug store before but after today I will not be going to Wal-Mart, CVS, Rite-Aid or any other Pharmacy! We have had our struggles with different stores as we all do but today Walgreens was my hero! Our Doctors office keeps screwing around and up with where our perscriptions are sent and I was at the end of my rope. When I went to pick up my husband's medicine, which the Doctors office said they sent it to and low and behold it wasn't there! Dam. Very long story made short they (Walgreens) contacted the Doctors office and got the perscription sent to them! Amazing rigjt? Not only that but not 30 minutes later I received a call saying it was ready for pick up! I should have started off with supposedly the perscription was sent to them 2 days before but the doctors office never did. I have to say I have never had such superior service before! read more

I'm not sure why the low ratings for this store but for my experience the staff both in the pharmacy and the main front counter where professional and very friendly. My 10 yr old son received a flu shot at 7 pm with the nicest pharmacist and front technicians you could hope for, even at that late hour. Thank you ladies for caring for his needs. read more

This 0 star (1 star since I can't do 0 stars) is for the Pharmacist TANYA S. who I encountered at the Drive Thru Pharmacy. A little background, we are in a global pandemic right now (COVID-19) and I made a quick run to Walgreens to get some allergy medicine for my husband. Upon pulling in to Walgreens I saw a "Drive Thru Pharmacy" and thought to myself, "maybe I can save a trip going inside and keep social distancing." I waited in my car in the drive thru line, two cars in front of me and then decided to call the pharmacy to see if I could buy it there just to make sure, if not I would've pulled out of line. I waited for a few minutes, the first car in line drives off and then someone answered the call. I asked if I could purchase allergy medicine at the drive thru, they kindly said yes and said I needed my ID. The last car drove away and I proceeded to pull forward and about to wrap up the call. As I pulled forward I noticed TANYA S. on the phone and I said, "Oh! Am I talking to you on the phone?" She immediately, looks at me and in a displeased voice says, "Are you seriously on the phone with us while you're in drive thru??" She then put the phone down and walked away. Never asked me my needs, how she can help, nada. I was left so confused. Did I do something wrong? I simply called to see if I can purchase through the drive thru? And in a global pandemic you'd think people would be a little nicer? What happened to "Were all in this together?" The lady I was talking to on the phone then approached the drive thru window and helped me- super calm and collected. I asked her if I can get the name of that lady and then she left and decided to call her over to me. Tanya S. then came back to the window and said, "Did you have a question for me?" To which I replied, "Yes, You were being very rude to me early. I'd like your name please." She spells her name out to me and gave no apologies, ha! Wow. And just walks away acting super entitled. I have no idea what amount of stress/issues she was going through but to take it on a customer for no good reason was completely uncalled for and unprofessional! read more

My complaint has to do with the employees that work in the Pharmacy and not retail. First off I get to the pharmacy counter and the lady working in the pharmacy says she will be right with me she keeps me waiting for 15 minutes then a car pulls up to the drive thru and she goes and helps the drive thru customer when I had arrived way before and she had me waiting a while. I don't think it's right that the pharmacy is giving preferential treatment to drive thru customers over walk in customers especially when the walk customer (me) had arrived alot earlier than the drive thru customer. Please inform your employees to treat all customers fairly. Really poor customer service in the Pharmacy. read more

Coupons. The store does not take responsibility for the coupons they offer. Instead of simple coupons Walgreens has always have a complicated system that has difficulty functioning at the counter. In this case I logged into the same app I always login to and it let me add coupons to my account but I check out it would not show the coupons on my account so there was no way to see the coupons. It was easy to see the coupons I clipped and it wasn't that much. The store wasn't willing to just simply discount by the amount showing clearly on their app. It would've been that simple just to add the discount. But instead they were willing to spend a half hour with two people and a register tied up because they were so correct that there was nothing they could do about it. But I didn't write the app. Every setting in the app was correct so there's nothing I can do about it if you have me spend time shopping in your store putting things in my basket at a rate that you state but you won't sell it for the rate that you state. Historically this place is great because the pharmacy is so much better than the CVS we switch from a decade or more ago. I don't want to say much more about anything except all the people are very friendly. Walgreens needs to fix their coupon system and honor their discounts because that's the ethical and correct thing to do. And it wasn't an Internet connection as they guessed because the Internet was connected at the whole time. If you think your store app is not functioning because you have bad Internet, then simply put in wireless Internet since you're moving to a application for coupons. It's an app design problem. I'll use my receipt to get the amount discounted either from the store or corporate and when that's done I'll go back to the good review they normally should deserve. read more

I had a terrific experience today when I went to buy an adjustable walking cane for my husband because of a recent surgery. The new store manager, Chuck, really helped me out today. Even though I couldn't find the exact color cane that was for sale, he matched the price of the one I had chosen. Not just anyone would do that and he did it with a smile! Would give zero if possible. Left photos to be developed on August 5th. We were told it would take a couple of weeks. Since we understand things are taking longer because of covid, we waited 3 weeks and called to make sure they were ready. No....not yet. Every several days we called and tried to find out what was happening to our photos and most of the time, the answers were "I don't know ~ they're still processing". Other times, "I can't find your name." So....this goes on and on and finally one person said they were sent to the wrong facility for processing. Whatever that means. "Give it one more week" Three weeks after that, they're ready for pickup. So 2 months to the day, October 5th, I arrive in the store and find the 4 pictures they developed are blurry, unrecognizable of any person or animal. The young lady kept insisting that I pay my $10 (for 4 bad pictures) and kept telling me "you get a CD". The manager came and said I didn't have to accept them which I didn't. How disappointing for this to happen ~ a very special family trip which will never be duplicated. And all this took 2 MONTHS. Perhaps Walgreens should get a new third party film developer. Won't be returning for photo developing. read more

I only really come here to get pictures printed but they have always turned out better then my Rite Aid or Albertsons pictures. The one down side is they rarely have anyone at the picture counter so I usually have to wait 10-15 minutes before being helped. read more

We have gone here for years never had a problem until we decided to get my brother a netspend visa debit card that walgreens sells, Says on the instructions just activate online or over the phone my brother and me bought the card the clerk never said if we could get a refund or not if the card didnt work my brother gave him$75 to place on to the card, When we did the over the phone activation it said card was locked. We then called netspend to ask why it was locked but they were closed by the time we called right after trying to do the simple activation over the phone , So i called at 8 am the next day the representatives that cant even speak english really well saying we had to mail them a copy of my social security and drivers license along with a document saying of where i lived if not they would not release our money we gave to walgreens to place on the visa debit we purchased, I then called walgreens and explained what was going on they also spoke to the netspend rep and he said well there is nothing we can do we are a third party on this. We only sell the cards, oh but they do take our money i kept calling netspend the wouldnt even transfer me to a supervisor they would place me on hold and hang up, my issue is that the manager spoke with them and all they said it was weird that they would ask for our social security number and identification its like scams online only walgreens is selling the gate way for them to do it i called customer service same thing so i told them okay if walgreens sells something that doesnt work or is broken u come back with your receipt and u get a reimbursement and what is even worst they talked to netspend representatives and they told the manager yes the card was locked unless we send them our personal information. Ill say it again even the workers at Walgreens said it seemed like a scam when they talk to netspend but cant do anything about reimbursing our money so pretty much Walgreens keeps a percentage and so does netspend . But this wont end here i will see to it that we get the money back. Its not about the $75 its that we cant even trust our local stores in selling scams id never tought i would see this of this franchise horrible . read more

I suggest looking at the prices when they ring things up. They don't always match up to prices when checking out. Associates aren't even smart enough to do a price check.
