Parking lot was clean, no trash in the carts, score! We were greated (it's funny how alot of retired people want that position). The produce section was sparkling with a great selection and fresh options. I saw guys facing (arranging products) the shelves for better presentation. When I walked by the cosmetics the woman complimented my outfit. It's actually a custom Magickal Angel "costume". Of course I had to scope out the candles and scents department. I purchased what I needed, Magic Spell wax. I was sitting out front waiting for my friend to finish her shopping and 2 employees walked by, one badge said COACH, I told him I was impressed by the store. Walmart Vista on University. I went to buy a battery this morning. I parked back near the automotive area so I would not have to carry the battery too far. There were people working on cars. I grabbed a cart and went inside to purchase a battery. I found the batteries, all locked up. I went to customer service desk at auto, nobody there. I pushed the button to summon help. I heard radios go off throughout the store customer needs assistance at auto checkout. I stood there and pushed the button multiple times for about twenty minutes. I gave up and tried to leave and found the door out of auto locked. I had to walk a long way around to even get out of the damn store. By now I'm mad as hell. I am done with Walmart. Today I cancelled my Walmart plus membership. This store needs to be shut down. There is not a single person working there that doesn't look angry. I wonder why. I got a decent price on higher quality product purchased elsewhere because your idiots can't run a store. Get new Managers. At auto Service for an Oil Change. It's my second time coming here. The first one i never had any problem but this time i have been waiting at the line for my 9:30 appt i came at 9:20 and it's already 9:43am and still no one come and check me in. I brought my daughter's car to get an oil change here and I just left and there's oil all over the steering wheel the door handle. There's a drip of oil on the door panel, my dash has oil prints from oily fingers all over it, my button to start the car has oil the steering wheel has oil on it. I got it all over my hands and my pants. Like what kind of training do they do there? I don't understand this. I had to go pick up a curbside pick up. It was not ready. It rescheduled me five hours later which does not work for me. I had to go in the store and get everything when I get to the front line. The lady was closing and told me to go to another line. Then a worker that was cleaning the registers told me to get out of there I felt like I was being treated pretty terrible for a customer. Sadly this place is no super center, besides the super space, their stuffs were lackluster, toys were missing pieces were stolen or opened, their entire hot food displays were empty, no rotisserie or pop corn chicken, just a blank display, I went to the deli hoping to get some food, but everything there also felt very old and small, not sure today they cooked more food or not, hmmm. Curbside pickup here is an absolute joke. Got messaged at 2:59pm that my order (2 items already paid 300$ for) was ready. I got here and checked in by 3:05. It is currently 4:56 and still I have been told that they don't have any of the items pulled and to rig wait in the car. Consistent delay time between coming out and helping then going in to be gone for 5-10 minutes before coming out again. Again. It's been an hour. I have 2 items. And got told to go back to my car and they'll have it when they have it. Great job, guys. You wasted my time. Oh also, tried to call over and over and it keeps getting forwarded after ringing. And honestly. This can be fixed with a notification saying there's delay and new eta is whatever. But you can have people waiting for 2-3 hours. read more

I have been shopping at this location since it first opened and continue to do so. Now my shopping looks quite a bit different. I readily use the curbside pickup because it is fast and convenient. I place my order online and pick up in store for free at a time that best works for me. The employees will even load or assist with loading the groceries to help ensure safety. I have also been inside the store multiple times since COVID-19 restrictions were put in place in March 2020. I am pleased with the current safety/precautions and additional steps they are taking for the health and safety of their customers/associates. The store is clean and there are signs and visuals that help everyone maintain proper social distancing. Masks required, wearing them properly! The store offers a variety of essential items as well as non-essential items. The shelves are usually well stocked. I use the Walmart app. I can create a shopping list and add products to a favorites list. In store, I can easily check price or product availability. Also, I can find aisle locations for items on my shopping list. The best part about the app, I can save receipts to the app so I can always access them. The worst thing is a lost/misplaced receipt. There are other great features, but these are a few of the most functional ones. read more

It's so frustrating already that basic medicines are locked up but add on to that and make us sit and press a button to wait. As soon as I pressed the button I could hear nearby walkie talkies going "customer needs assistance in cough and flu medicine" I saw about five workers walk by me, hear their walkie talkies say those words and not one of them offered to help me out. Staff giving me a hard time about a price on an item. I explained that the item was marked on sale and should be a specific price. She said she didn't have anyone to go look. I said I will go back and take a picture. She said I could not do that. After arguing for ten minutes she finally found a young man to go look. He came back and said, you did better. The price is lower than what you said it was. If you mark a price on the shelf, then make sure you mark the item too. Walmart has a bad habit of mismarking items and customers don't check. It all adds up. You may not think ten or twenty five cents should make a difference but if a hundred people don't question it they are raking in the money at the end of the week. I went to Walmart to get my ribbons and letter stencils and paper to make the letters. I had an amazing person by the name Nicole ask if I needed help. She was very helpful. I ended up getting everything I needed but ended up coming back the next day to get more ribbon. The silver ribbons were nowhere to be found as Nicole remembered me and helped me find two ribbons. She went up and beyond to make sure she found the ribbons. She definitely needs a raise and a promotion cause I have never had such an amazing customer service like what Nicole gave at a Walmart before. Thank you, Nicole !!!! read more

It's a super Walmart so you'll have a wide variety of food, clothing, shoes, books, electronics and so on. You'll pretty much get the same experience you would anywhere else. There will be employees who are really respectful and quick to help you. There will be those who are disrespectful and don't help you. There are times when check out is fast and other times where there's only a couple lanes open and the lines run into the clothing sections because they're so long. Car side pickup is an interesting experience. I prefer to use that for various reasons. Unlike Target where everything is ready within 2 hours, you choose a specific time slot that you can pick up in. But you're still able to pick up your items after that as well. You pull up to the right side of the building, choose a space, and use your app to put the number of the space into it so they know who to bring the items out to. They're usually nice, though sometimes they aren't and that's fine. They have a tough job and regular things happening in their lives so I understand why they don't always want to have a smile on their face and be super friendly. The one item that is consistently out for me is cilantro. They will always have it listed as an item for pick up but never actually have the item in stock. By the time I get there they say it's gone. One time they switched it out for parsley. Overall, it's a store you can go to in order to get many things you may need from toys, to sewing supplies and makeup. There's so much there in one place. You'll encounter the same issues you would at any store and have some of the same positive experiences too. read more

This Walmart sucks for grocery delivery or pickup. There must be a 7 year old for a manager because none of the departments EVER pick up the phone. Even Walmart's corporate can't get ahold of them. To quote the Walmart support rep, "It's sad how a company as big as Walmart can operate this way." I'm now driving to the store, just to knock on their door and try not to lose it when the employee acts friendly. Go somewhere else, I beg of you. Use Instacart's Walmart shopping service, anything but Walmart's grocery service on the site. I actually received the products that were shipped FASTER than the express delivery option from the store. Go figure. I went there the other day after arranging a pickup, due to all of the delivery problems I've had (and it's not driver's fault, it's the store). I asked them to do a Super Mario Kart cake (5 days prior to the party), and I was super impressed with the outcome! If i could give zero stars i would. I took my item for return and a screen shot of my order number to Walmart on University, in Vista. When presented to the returns clerk, she tried to use her casiers gun, used to reflect info from item bar code. There was no bar code. She and two of her associates said, ''we don't do screen shots.'' Thankfully 'one' other associate came to my aid. She, like any other time i have returned items, used the order number and completed the transaction. There are several ploys here. There is rudness, sloth or just uninformed. I believe this was rudness. I don't like the mission of these employees and would caution Walmart to be careful with their hiering choices and keep a watch on their attitudes and practices.
