I came in right at closing time, 9:00 PM, to pick up prescriptions for my adult autistic child, and Rhoda was so kind and helpful even though they were closing. Her manager even came over to say hello and was just as friendly. It seems like these days social media is full of stories about customers and employees clashing, so when you get genuinely great service, it deserves to be recognized. Rhoda, thank you for your wonderful attitude and for taking care of us right up until closing. This is exactly why I keep coming back to this Walgreens specifically instead of others. I don't have any income currently, and I am still waiting for SSDI to be approved. So, I came in with some apprehension on whether I would have all my medicines covered. I didn't get her name, but the pharmacy covering the register was very helpful in looking up my prescriptions to see which were covered. It did take a bit of time since I had a lot of prescriptions to be filled. I really appreciate her help and the pharmacist in going over which ones were covered by medical and / or if there was a restriction by medical. Unfortunately, this was causing the line to back up, and there was some complaining that I could hear from those other customers. That is unfortunate since the staff was giving great customer service. I wasn't rushed through or not given helpful assistance. I really appreciate being treated like a wanted customer. This CVS does, however, need to hire more pharmacy employees. There were only 3 staff members trying to process the prescription orders and checking out customers.

Oct 2 2020- they aren't enforcing customers to wear masks. Saw 2 men without masks/no masks visible…read morewalking around. They aren't cleaning self checkouts between customers. Only had self check scanners open today at 3pm. No option to use a cashier since actual register was closed and no employee in front. I hate self check out because it never fails that something happens and an employee is needed anyways. So I did need an employee because the self checkout computer called for one. The employee shows up scans his card and it starts working again. So I have no idea what the problem was and it seemed neither did the employee. This really sucks now. Also now it appears you need paper coupons because the self checkout asks you to scan them.

Sanitizer is available throughout the store too. The vaccine process is straight forward. Make your appt online, check in at the front of the store (show ID), wait in pharmacy line, get your shot, wait 15 minutes... then live it up!!! The lady that worked there,said come pay upfront after 10 minutes of waiting. then I will serve you ice cream. we go up front and we had to wait in a long line, it just made no sense. We were waiting for 10 minutes and she knew that. I just don't think she has good customer service skills. This was today October 2 at 5 PM. now we are on our way to Baskin-Robbins. I've been to this location several times when I'm in the area. I've honestly have not had a problem shopping here at least 10 times in the past 5 months. The shelves always seem stocked, the "on sale / promotional" items are usually tagged. There's always a clerk at the register in case you dont want to deal with the self check station. Store seems well organized and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. There's also plenty of room between the isles so even when it's busy, it doesnt seem that crowded. Outside of the store, the area and parking lot seem safe. Only problem I see is that they're closed by 10pm. Which sucks if you're planning on going on a last minute alcohol run. Where I'm from, there's a CVS that's open 24 hours that's about 2 miles from where I live & I'm usually hitting it up around midnight or 1am for 1 last beer run.

Having recently moved to the area and registered with a new doctor to get prescriptions refilled I requested to have them sent here as they're so easy to get refills. One simple phone call, make a couple of selections on an automated service and voila! All done and ready for you to collect within a couple of hours. So easy even a Monkey could do it. The guy that was serving today was awesome. He noticed that the preventative Asthma pump the Doctor had prescribed was not covered on our insurance (also not the one I was prescribed by my old Doctor) so he immediately suggested him calling them and adjusting it to one that was saving me $200! Now how many places are likely to do that? They also do Vaccinations here and is well worth coming for Flu Vaccinations every year. Appointments recommended but not always necessary.
