The worst customer service there is. If you call about a prescription, you can expect to wait at least 1/2 hour before a person answers. If at all! I just waited 1/2 hour and finally just hung up. Increase your staff or get another system to assist customers. I think I'll switch to CVS read more

It was so hot in Sarasota that we needed to stop at Walgreen's and get some water in the evening while we were sightseeing. Yes, I was sightseeing later at night when it was cooler and dark. Unfortunately, some of the places I wanted to see were closed already, but I got to see enough of them. Most were very well lit up. This Walgreens pharmacy is so screwed up it's amazing. I received a letter from Walgreens telling me that they would no longer accept my insurance. Ok, fair enough. But I continued to receive numerous calls offering to renew my prescriptions and do reviews. I stopped at this Walgreens because I needed to heed the call of nature. The bathroom was a horror, given that they're supposed to check them every hour and it was dutifully checked off, neither stall had any toilet paper in it, and there was no paper towels in the handicapped stall. It made taking care of business difficult. I also wanted to find a particular shade of lipstick, they had one, but not the other, so I bought it and mentioned the bathroom status to the Manager on duty. I love Walgreen. The Walgreen store it's fine but the pharmacy not that I expect! This is my first time using their pharmacy service. Seems like they don't care much about patients. I went to have covid vaccine. Before I went there I made appointment, put all information online but when I got there I still have to fill out all information on the paper again! So what the point to do online! After I got shot they said I'm good to go. The next day I realize that they did not give me any paper to prove that I have vaccinate. I have to drove back to ask for the paper so they gave me vaccinate paper and they even spelled my name wrong. If they pay a little more attention to the detail will be best. read more

They claim to honor good RX but that's a lie! They charge you as much as they possibly can the receipt shows no reflection of the good RX discount which they claim they gave you and yet I paid close to $40 for 20 pills and I have a picture that I will post that shows good RX says I should be able to get it for $10 at Walgreens but Walgreens claims to not be responsible for that but let me ask you a major corporation like that wouldn't you want to keep up on things like good RX and make sure all the discounts were correctly posted so you didn't take peoples money like highway robbery like I could've went to Walmart I could've went to any other pharmacy where they actually did what they said they would do Which is honor the good RX read more

This place...I am just trying to get the medications that I have to have in order to function and have a life that is tolerable. But for some reason, Walgreens wants to make it as difficult as possible. The technician and the pharmacist were incredibly rude to me. They have no customer service skills. I guess they think they're the only pharmacist's in town. Yes, it's going to be a pain to transfer my meds to another pharmacy but I'm done with Walgreens. Frantically looking for specific items to relieve my son's pain I asked an associate stocking shelves for help. He pointed across the store and give possible directions on where it "might be". I said, "please, don't point, show me, my son is in pain". He then slammed his restock items into his cart with irritation, which surprised me in a customer service environment. I said I'm sorry to have upset you by asking for help, never mind" as I looked for another associate to which he responded with "I'm sorry if you didn't like the way I set my things down".... Really???. Sensing conflict I headed for the checkout with what I had, turning to offer him another chance to help, but he literally ignored me. The checkout clerk seemed concerned of the incident but with a line couldn't help. I'm old school so I believe people aren't OWED jobs. Either they earn their place in society, contribute, and represent the company that employs them, or they find something else to do. Incident: 8:30p 10/30/2020. So disappointed. I have always found Walgreens to have excellent products at very competitive prices. This one is no exception. But, the customer service here is abysmal. I stopped in at 2 PM on Wednesday Sept 3, 2014 and took about 15 minutes to get 4-5 items. I went to the front register, which had one customer only. The woman at the register proceeded to have a long conversation about an item that the customer thought cost $9.99 while the register woman said it cost $15.99. This went on for 5-10 minutes while the line behind me grew to 6-8 people. Eventually the register woman said she would refund the money and that took another 10 minutes. When I got to the register, she asked if I found everything okay. I said that it took longer to get checked out than it did to shop and that I would not be back to this Walgreens. She said that "her Walgreens" was the highest rated in the county. I said that is a surprise to me but I didn't care, just check out my items. She then proceeded to tell me that it was slow because there were a lot of old people and that I would be one of them sometime. (FYI, the people with the refund issue were not old!). I told her that maybe I would be lucky and die early, probably from a heart attack due to stress of having to wait online. This is a terrible employee who has lost a customer for this Walgreens. Maybe I will look for other Drug stores as that market seems to be very competitive. read more

I go to this walgreens a lot! Its a block away from my house.I have had problems with milk since the first time i have gone there. It tasted sour and i just threw it away the first time. A month later a got another gallon of milk there and it was sour too. I took it back that day. I got the same person checked me out and gave me cash back. About three days ago i got another milk and it was sour. I took it back and the girl gave me attitude like it was my fault. She was so rude to me in front of lots of customers. Said i used to much. It was one bowl of cereal that i could not eat. She finally said fine go get one and stormed away to the back. It was a aweful experience! read more

If I could give a zero I would. Went to the pharmacy drive thru on Saturday to drop my sons medication rx off. The lady who came to the window (blonde hair..didn't see her name tag) Was extremely rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience when I gave her the rx. She walked away and came back a few moments last and sent the rx back through the window. She said there's nothing she can do they don't have this medication in stock.. Never have I ever dealt with this when I've gone to any Walgreen's. Normally the pharmacy staff is very helpful and asks if I want them to check any other Walgreen's close by to see if they have it in stock. I asked her if she could check and she said no we don't do that here. Didn't even ask if I wanted her to order the medication. I will no longer be using Walgreen's as my pharmacy for my kids or my meds. We will take our business some place else where we don't feel like were an inconvenience...this is for the walgreens on Central Park way not sure why it didn't let me post for that location read more
