I am used to Atlanta Publix. It's different. I will forever say that Florida has everything you can imagine. The variety in their stores are much different than those I Georgia. This store was on the smaller scale. Aisles are narrow however this place packs a punch. Everything is neat and fresh. You have an abundance to choose from. The deli was busy. Aren't they always? They got us out of there in a good amount of time. No worries. The staff was nice. Big kudos to them for having a lot of handicap buggies available. That is so important. Everyone should have access to food shopping. Thank you Publix. Where shopping is a pleasure.

The deli counter is always a disappointment majority of the time. I had the worst experience today…read more During the dinner time rush, no one was at the deli. The person working noticed that there was no one behind the counter. After 3-4 min the employee decided to go behind the counter to help. They clearly saw me standing there, while another customer showed up after I did. Clearly I was there first but they decided to help the other person!!!! The deli is poorly managed because even during lunch and dinner the level of service declines dramatically. The staff tends to be friendly for the most part. However, I have been in Sarasota 5 years and this particular Publix has been a disaster and does not seem to be improving......0 stars in my opinion.

Be very careful before considering to do business with and guidance from AgeVital. My experience…read morewas traumatic and frustrating. First, I was mismanaged to the point of having to go to the emergency room from a combination of recommended doses. Second, little to no follow up after trying to reach Dr. Jenny. I finally received help from a doctor who was associated with AgeVital but saw me in private practice due to co cents of mismanagement. Finally, I was significantly over charged for services not asked for, not prescribed and not even requested by me. The result, significant time trying to recover credit card charges and to no avail. Dr. Jenny refused to cooperate and denied actions and would not reimburse me. Be careful; consider your options before trusting your health to this wellness place!

This Walgreen's had what we needed and solved our problem. This was your typical Walgreen's with the same basic layout, so I didn't take a bunch of indoor pictures of the aisles. I had a bad toothache so therefore I need something to ease the pain until I could get to the dentist in Atlanta. Did I mention I was in Sarasota FL? Yes big dilemma. This review is specifically for the actual pharmacy portion of the store…read more I have always found pharmacies unpleasant the way some people find, say, the dentist unpleasant. But last year I had to start taking medication regularly and CVS my closest pharmacy. Everyone I ever spoke to here on the phone or dealt with in person was really pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It made the experience painless. Recently CVS has made a policy change (?) that increases the cost of my medication by about 5x. Since then I've been dealing with other pharmacies not answering phones, poor attitudes, not being prompt with service and a whole handful of other issues. Thank you to Kevin + the other associates here. Wish I didn't have to go elsewhere!

I understood that the pharmacy did not open until 9 thanks to a male answering the phone who also misgendered me. I called back at 9 AM and they were STILL sending calls to voicemail. You'll have to forgive me,I am in excruciating broken tooth pain trying to figure out the extent of my prescription. As soon as a woman answered the phone she said please hold. She put me on hold for a while and then she got on the phone I said hello I've been trying to get a hold of somebody for the better part of 20 minutes. She quickly cut me off and gave me the excuse of the fact that they just opened (it was 9:07AM) I was trying to say I'm aware of that that's not what I'm saying meaning after it was open and I called I still couldn't get a hold of someone. But she kept cutting me off and repeating quickly like a robot we weren't open yet we weren't open yet we weren't open yet. And then I said please stop cutting me off. What is the matter with you? She said let me put you on hold and get somebody to help you. Apparently she lacks the social tools to answer basic question without hostility. Deplorable animal. And then she put me on hold again for longer. A woman named Patricia answer the phone warmly and kindly I asked her what was the name of the black woman I was just speaking to. I am also black, I recognize our tone of voice. I know when I'm speaking to my own. She knows exactly who I was talking about and told me her name is Ashley. She is extremely unprofessional. And I will not stop until I make sure a manager knows that Ashley needs a talking to on basic human respect. And phone etiquette. Humans can hear your attitude through the phone. I have a background as a dental receptionist and I was trained to smile as soon as I answer the phone because people can hear it. ASHLEY needs training. She is unhinged. And she is a disgusting way to enter your store first thing in the morning. She is an embarrassment to the North Tamiami CVS. She belongs in the health department at best. What an arrogant jerk you have in your pharmacy completely devoid of compassion or customer service.
