But last year I had to start taking medication regularly and CVS my closest pharmacy. Everyone I ever spoke to here on the phone or dealt with in person was really pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It made the experience painless. Recently CVS has made a policy change (?) that increases the cost of my medication by about 5x. Since then I've been dealing with other pharmacies not answering phones, poor attitudes, not being prompt with service and a whole handful of other issues. You'll have to forgive me,I am in excruciating broken tooth pain trying to figure out the extent of my prescription. As soon as a woman answered the phone she said please hold. She put me on hold for a while and then she got on the phone I said hello I've been trying to get a hold of somebody for the better part of 20 minutes. She quickly cut me off and gave me the excuse of the fact that they just opened (it was 9:07AM) I was trying to say I'm aware of that that's not what I'm saying meaning after it was open and I called I still couldn't get a hold of someone. But she kept cutting me off and repeating quickly like a robot we weren't open yet we weren't open yet we weren't open yet. And then I said please stop cutting me off. What is the matter with you? She said let me put you on hold and get somebody to help you. Apparently she lacks the social tools to answer basic question without hostility. Deplorable animal. And then she put me on hold again for longer. A woman named Patricia answer the phone warmly and kindly I asked her what was the name of the black woman I was just speaking to. I am also black, I recognize our tone of voice. I know when I'm speaking to my own. She knows exactly who I was talking about and told me her name is Ashley. She is extremely unprofessional. And I will not stop until I make sure a manager knows that Ashley needs a talking to on basic human respect. And phone etiquette. Humans can hear your attitude through the phone. I have a background as a dental receptionist and I was trained to smile as soon as I answer the phone because people can hear it. ASHLEY needs training. She is unhinged. And she is a disgusting way to enter your store first thing in the morning. She is an embarrassment to the North Tamiami CVS. She belongs in the health department at best. What an arrogant jerk you have in your pharmacy completely devoid of compassion or customer service.
