Sausage links and a biscuit! Oh and coffee..
    Adonis P.

McDs line was waaaaay too long this morn so I was looking for another stop for coffee. Having made the 7-11 mistake before I wasn't planning to stop at a gas station since there's no Wawa or Speedway on my way to work. But then I saw Rigers. I had forgotten it opened. Still looks brand new so I decided to stop in. First impressions... WOW. It looks GOOD. Sparkling clean. Everything looks brand new. First thing I noticed was their large HOT FOOD counter, but my mission was coffee so i headed there. Thier coffee machine was a slick touch screen model. I was impressed. Easy to use. Everything was easy to find and use. 5 stars for coffee presentation. 3.5 stars for the actual coffee. It was a solid decent. Back to the food counter. A sweet little senior lady was manning it. All smiles and grandma vibes, which totally worked with the country breakfast goodness they were serving up! Grits! Fresh eggs! Sausage, links AND patties. This huge heavenly cake-like gift of culinary delight they call a biscuit! Did I mention GRITS! Suffice to say I will be back to try more. I kept it simple and had sausage and a biscuit. DELICIOUS. My boss was jealous. Oh yeah they also sell gas here. I mean, if that's your thing... i guess.

    Small s'mores latte is delicious!

Five star experience from start to finish, great recommendations from the server and all proves to be fantastic. We started with wuevos rancheros, ordered a croissant sandwich with egg cheddar, bacon, avocado, and sprouts, and also a blackened chicken salad. The food is fantastic and it was so good that we ordered a second plate of the rancheros. Thank you for being such a beacon of joy Tracy and thank you for the incredible meal. We will be back anytime we come back to siesta keys. It's off the beaten path, so make sure that you find this hidden gem best meal for sure

The Myakka was eggs benedict sausage patties, tomato, on a grilled biscuit and smothered in sausage gravy. The Max's Bliscuit was a huge buttermilk biscuit, two eggs, cheese, and bacon..the eggs were ordered over-easy but I think that they were just a bit passed that point but Terri said that it was still very good. It's a very bright and friendly decor inside and out...definitely one of our favorite places in Siesta Key Village!

Best place we found for breakfast in the 4 months we were in SRQ…read more The menu is full of so many different combinations of deliciousness. The staff is a real team effort and so pleasant! GO GO GO great way to start your day. Lunch also looked incredible but didn't have a chance to go.

Here is a review that captures that classic, deeply disappointing diner experience…read more Avoid This Place Like the Plague Rating: (1/5) I don't usually write reviews, but I feel a moral obligation to warn anyone thinking about getting breakfast here. If you're looking for a good start to your day, keep driving. The Food: I'm pretty sure my breakfast combo was cooked in oil that hasn't been changed since the turn of the century. The hashbrowns weren't crispy--they were just a heavy, grey sponge dripping with lukewarm grease and dark burnt. I ordered bacon, but what I got looked and tasted like carbonized wood chips, when I asked for crispy bacon, it was rubbery. The Eggs: Supposed to be cheese omelette with mushrooms, but they managed to be simultaneously rubbery on the edges and swimming in a puddle of mystery oil. Burnt toast, burnt English muffin. Everything felt heavy, oily, and completely un-editable. Save your stomach and your money. There are a million breakfast joints out there--don't risk it on this grease trap.
