A very good deal In my first review several years ago, I was impressed with their Caribbean sandwich, so that's what I tried again today. Still impressed. It didn't seem that small this time and was still full of flavor. To recap, it is a hot pastrami with provolone cheese, romaine, red onion, pepperoni, and their mayo based Caribbean sauce, on an onion roll. They offer lots of signature sandwiches, all but a few under $8, and even daily specials under $5. This place is a very good deal. My timing was bad, it was busy when I arrived just before noon with the line actually extending out on the sidewalk for a few of us. That was the busiest I saw it while I enjoyed my sandwich. They have some tables inside, I got one of the two-tops along a narrow hallway to the back door. They also have some outdoor seating. Being busy, the sandwich construction specialists were for the most part heads down putting out food. Busy places are often good places, and this was a good place. read more

I asked if they were our sandwiches the register lady said yes, I tried waving to you but you didn't see me. How hard could it have been to walk 5 ft. and give us our meals that we tipped for at the counter. She was not apologetic. Poor service (neglect) sours any meal. We will not be back. read more

I would like to give this place 5 stars but I can't because of 1 person. It's a shame that my experiences with this worker has made me not want to give a stellar review. The older gentleman who works the register is so unfriendly. He doesn't answer questions and seems blah about everything. The first time I came in a younger man was working the register and wow, he was friendly, happy, kind, helpful, and answered questions. Maybe the first experience with the younger male really tainted my experience with the elderly cashier but it's like night and day. They run out of soup and act like whatever, too bad. No explanation, just we don't have any and it's still on the menu board... I said bummer and told him that's the reason I came today was for the soup. He says nothing no reaction. Just weird. So I guess I will figure out the soup situation and ask questions when the younger man is working the cashier. But I won't be in nearly as much as I would like to since I don't know what kind of mood I will get if the older man is working. read more

This is a small privately owned and operated deli that offers daily specials. They offer delivery service if orders are placed before 10:30 am. and there is a minimum for delivery. They also offer a loyalty punch card for ten purchases earns you a free meal. They offer some really great catering options too. There is a wide selection of sandwiches to choose and what tends to happen is you find the one you love and no matter how many times you order, you seem to gravitate to the same one. For me, it's the Paisano sandwich, which has salami, black forest ham, provolone cheese, tomato, onions, pepperoncini & garlic spread on a hot pressed roll. I get mine, extra pressed and it comes with a pickle for about $6.70 plus tax. On Wednesdays, the Paisano is the special so get that for under $5. There are soups and salads, in side or entree portions, too. The deli itself has a couple of tables inside and a couple more outside in the front and back. Place your order on the phone, and get ahead of the line, with their pickup counter, you simply pay and go. During the week, the lines can be out the door. Good to know the food is moving and will always be freshly served. Plaza might be under construction but plenty of parking is still available behind the deli with the rear entrance makes it a quick lunch spot. read more

We stopped in for a late weekday lunch while in the area. This shopping center is under construction so this and Sweet Tomato were the easiest places to access. The menu was pretty large, which always gives me menu anxiety and makes me indecisive. My husband had placed his order already, so I panicked and went with the daily special. I got lucky that it was something I actually wanted to eat, lol. My husband went with a small Italian for $5.19. On this particular day, the $4.49 special was The Bounty (turkey, lettuce, cucumber, onions and ranch). The service here was not very friendly on our visit. The man taking our order was indifferent, though not flat out rude. However, when my husband picked up the sandwiches and thanked them, the two guys stared at him silently with blank faces. Jesus, how welcoming. I liked my turkey and the rye, but several of my cucumbers were bitter and they forgot the lettuce! I removed the bad cucumbers as I came across them and it was quite tasty. My husband's Italian stacked up to the many others he has eaten. The prices seemed great until you realize how small the portions are and that chips and a drink are separate. What we spent was average for us getting lunch, not a great deal, and we weren't full after. Really, the sandwiches were good!
