A fantastic little deli with great sandwiches and selections. They are quick and good. They also have a few salads to choose from. I got their Cuban, which was really more a panini. Not what normally comes to mind when I think cuban, but it was good. Usually i think more the deep fried style cuban with a little sugar sprinkled on it. It is NOT that style. Best sandwich shop with amazing value. Stumbled upon this place on the way to Siesta in Landings plaza. We ordered the Dagwood($10.99) and they had a full size pressed Cuban on sale on a Saturday for $4.59. Cannot beat that price anywhere. Served piping hot on fresh crusty bread, perfect amount of meat, Swiss, pickles and their homemade garlic spread, unbelievable deal for the price. Yes the Cuban was great but the star of the lunch was the Dagwood. Talk about huge, legit two subs for 10.99. Super fresh sun roll, sliced deli meat, fresh veggies so delish! The ability to buy half a sandwich of a ton of choices made fresh to order is another reason for the five stars. This is not an expense lunch and the sizes on the half are impressive. The pickle on the side adds to the details of experience, fresh too. I really enjoyed my soup and half a sandwich, but the best part was just sitting for a moment to enjoy my meal while listening to the top tunes of the 70's. Great experience. Noticed that they have daily specials at very reasonable prices too. Delivery is offered in the local area as long as you place your order by 10:30 am. Great! read more

My husband and I split an Italian sub. The meat and toppings were all very fresh. The bread was so soft that it stuck to the roof of my mouth. The man who took our order was indifferent and hardly friendly. It's Saturday morning. I called to ask if they would deliver. They said yes, with a $20 minimum and before 10:45am. I said, "Great! I'll take a look at the menu and give you a call back." I looked at the website (which also made the $20 minimum/before 10:45 delivery claim) and chose what I wanted to order. Upon calling back, they refused to deliver to me. They said they "only delivered to businesses". I told them that I was going to spend a lot of money and that I work from home, anyway. They knew that I lived in an apartment...and for that reason, they would Not deliver to me. I say They misled me and have a bias towards delivering to apartments. Big mistake. Bad for business. Wishy washy about their delivery policies....now I'm sandwich-less and upset. Let's just say, I will not take my business there again. read more

The Cuban sandwich is really good! Very fresh and yummy mustard/mayo "sauce" that is on it. Absolutely amazing. I tried the chicken & dumpling soup. It was good, but not what I expected. I thought it would be a creamy based soup, but seemed more like chicken noodle soup with dumplings instead of noodles. However the flavor was really good. After an internet search for "party sandwiches" I found and chose Corkscrew Deli for a platter to take for lunch with a friend who's been ill. The wide variety of sandwiches, cut into 1/4 pieces couldn't have been more perfect. For four of us we bought the small "specialty" platter and added a pound of cole slaw and another of potato salad. What a hit. Everybody could choose what was most appealing to them. There were plenty of leftovers to leave behind and more to take home for dinner that night. I recently visited the Corkscrew Deli for lunch, I love a good corned beef sandwich and a good home made soup. I ordered a simple hot corned beef on rye bread with spicy mustard and a cup of the soup of the day. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprise how good the corn beef sandwich was. The corned beef was very fresh, sliced paper thin and stacked on fresh, soft deli rye. The soup of the day was chicken noodle. I have been here on several occasions, this time I came in with my sister who is a mixed race. And she asked for no mayo on her sandwich but it came with mayo. During the complaint to the manager Janine, she rolled her eyes. Made some disparing comments about my sister. " you people" type comments. We walked out and my sister was in tears by the parking lot. We live in the landings and will never go back again. That woman Janine should not be allowed to talked to customers.
