They also when I went there made sure I got the type of appliance that I could use in a variety of ways for my situation. Then after my visit to the wound nurse and the doctor's office they gladly found the supplies I needed order them for me an expedited getting them so I didn't have to wait more than a few days. If I lived in the area I would be using their services all the time I can't say enough about their sensitivity in their knowledge of wound care. I submitted a claim with Medicare and it was denied since MDS does not have a Medicare Supplier number. Now I'm out a LOT of money! MDS does not "guarantee" that Medicare will pay, but what they should say is that they WON'T pay because they don't participate. If I had know this before I made such a large purchase, I would have ordered the exact same thing for the exact same price from Amazon, where I WOULD have been reimbursed (Plus Amazon would have delivered it to my door for free and not charged me a $200 delivery fee-which MDS does) Silly me for trying to support a local company!
