Carol is absolutely amazing, she deserves a raise for all of the hard work she does while still maintaining excellent customer service and patience. I watched her manage a large rush of folks at the checkout counter while still multi-tasking multiple photo orders. She greeted every customer who came in, asked if they needed any assistance / if they were finding everything they needed, and was just a breath of fresh air in a world where kindness is not often found. FEMALES BEWARE! I was at this CVS earlier this week, I was approached by a seemingly helpful employee named Jason. He proceeded to follow me throughout the store and make extremely inappropriate comments and trying to get my number. He kept saying odd stuff, inappropriate and oddly personal ( talking about his late mother etc). I was so uncomfortable I actually put my items down in a random isle and started to walk outside the store. I then realized he followed me and was asking me to come over to his truck. I was honesty about to call the police but he retreated back into the store, when thankfully a group of men in the parking lot seemed no notice my expression and my face. Needless to say I will never return to this location. CVS you really need to do better and screen your employees! Females beware!! read more

I have to agree with all of the comments about Carol and would like to add Courtney to the list of praise worthy staff. I actually stopped my prescription delivery service so I could walk in to this CVS and be greeted with smiles and funny banter. read more

This pharmacy appears to be VERY busy at all different times of the day. That said, waiting it line it appears the technicians are efficient, so I say "I'm a fan." Twice I've had prescriptions transferred down here and they have been able to fill them for me. read more

Town on vacation I was not familiar with layout of store nor the procedure to exchange my propane tank but as soon as I walked in the door the assistant manager asked me if he could help me - oh boy he asked the right person. Absolutely have to say that Carol is by far the most friendly, most helpful person I've ever found in any drugstore anywhere ever in the history of the existence of drugstores. What chaos! The cashier basically accused us of providing a false discount via a bar code that CVS sent us. We left our purchase and began to walk out but the manager stopped us and told us that CVS was told not to accept their own discounts via smartphone that very morning. What crap! We will peruse this at the corporate level. However, the manager was willing to give us the 25% off our order...which we took...with attitude. We're not that stupid. read more

Carol is the best. We're here on vacation and we've stopped to see her twice now. We might have to make an excuse to go see her again! The first time she and my fiancé had a riveting discussion about their favorite Pringles (she helped him locate them in the store). He came out to the car smiling ear-to-ear about his experience. Then, we went back for some sunscreen and she asked where were from. Turns out her husband is from the same area--northeast Ohio. Got us talking about the movie Major League and she even sang "Wild Thing." I mean, c'mon! Carol is the best. Have her train associates across the country. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - SARASOTA, Florida

As all retailers are dealing with the Coronavirus our trusted pharmacy is asking people to sign the credit card pad with their pen that people, some probably sick, have been using all day. Why? Publix Supermarket doesn't require a signature. Home Depot doesn't require a signature. No body signs their real signature anyway they scribble. You would think that a pharmacy would take all precautions to insure their customers safety. read more

This is literally the best CVS experience I ever had. I have been to many locations since they first opened in different states. On my way back to Tampa Bay from Naples I stopped in just before closing time on Easter. I had a coupon to use. Cheryl is absolutely the friendliest and most caring cashier I EVER met at any CVS or any competitor. She helped me look for a product, had a positive and friendly attitude, and even offered to put away the cart for me. Instead of having her be a cashier make her a nationwide trainer. If all workers acted like this there would be no need to go to the competition. Outstanding experience! Clean and organized store too! Happier than I have ever been in the past at any CVS. I have my own business and might come back to offer Cheryl a job. Bravo! read more

This CVS pharmacy doesn't answer the phone so you have to go to the store. Then you have to wait in understaffed line where they take 15 minutes to even begin the process. Aweful. Felt like I was being punished. Every time. read more

This is the best CVS ever. Carol at the front counter is a doll. She makes you smile no matter what kind of mood you are in. CVS should give her a raise as I know for a fact many folks who shop there just to talk to Carol. She knows her sale items and is just da bomb. Okay, in the pharmacy is Sara..what a lovely lady she is. My other fav is Lori. She is a tech but knows her stuff like a true pharmacist. I hope this helps consumers as well as the staff! I have been using the CVS on Macintosh and Bee Ridge for over a year. I was attacked and almost killed leaving me with a broken neck that had to be fused in two places, broken ribs next to my T spine that resulted in a bone spur sticking into my spinal cord that is the equivalent of having a lodged bullet next to your spinal cord that is inoperable and my skull so beat in that I have a lesion on my brain and now have memory and focusing problems along with seizures. My regular store was out of my hydrocodone (I used to be prescribed oxycodone but asked my doc to put me on this because of the trouble I had filling them) so they told me to go to THIS store. I spoke to the head tech Courtney and even though she had all my information and called my store she said no because I actually should not have needed them until the 5th.(I filled on the 4th the month before and get up at 6am so this made no sense.) I returned on the 5th and she came up with another excuse that my doc was out of the area and she didn't "know" him. Really? Are our pharmacies supposed to be intimately connected to all physicians they fill for? Anyway, that doc was the closest one to here that took my insurance at the time. I offered for him to call her, she already called my regular store, and with Florida's database, she surely would have seen my meds have been coming from this doc and this doc ONLY for over a year. I have a perfect pain management record, my doctor does routine urinalysis and keeps their track records as well. The head tech at this store has a serious God complex and enjoys to make people suffer I guess, so if you try to use this store because you are an unfortunate victim of pain, be prepared to have people look at you as though you are a drug addict and become another victim of the worst kind, judgmental prejudice. If you aren't 80 or in a wheel chair or God forbid on medicaid (maybe even prettier!) for whatever reason besides the facts you will be walking out feeling like a PARIAH!! read more
