Always long wait times and inability to keep prescriptions in stock. Absolute garbage, find somewhere else.

People are very kind. They have everything you would expect from a Walgreens. The interior is very modern they just remodeled.

I know I can find much of my wants and needs there. The manager, Warren, is super friendly and runs a tight ship. The store is always neat, orderly and clean. They were following covid guide lines well. The first time in store after 5 months, I spent over $100. And went home with bags and bags and bags as opposed to the couple I would have had anywhere else. The chain can be frustrating. Some goods are insurance liquidations. Inventory varies from store to store and state to state. One day you find it, the next time, gone forever. But, they do carry a staple inventory of items in housewares, cleaning and food. Portage finally got a frozen section. Watch weights and prices, because if one adds how many packages to equal a grocery, it comes out the same. Hint, those frozen donuts rock! At the same time, it is way more convenient to shop Dollar Tree. Easy in, easy out and fast. The chain has expanded the craft section more and more. They offer seasonal items. How frustrating to see some item I paid a few dollars or more for elsewhere, show up at Dollar Tree for a buck!! The Lime Away toilet cleaner beats all others to clean iron stains. The Awesome brand of cleaners is also great. I can never find a broom outside so at a dollar, I can buy several and scatter them around the house. Scissors is another item I can never find when I want it. So again, buck a piece and buy them 3 at a time. If they get dull, can even sharpen them. They are not flimsy. I have not been in any other stores in town this past year even though thinking on it. Keep driving past and head to Dollar Tree. They are fast becoming a department store and the fun is never knowing what they were able to obtain. Thick carpet squares, t-shirts, kids clothes, name brand cereal, high end cosmetics, tons of fake flowers, party stuff, holiday items...the store is a must stop. It is also my only bookstore and DVD store. I dare your to walk out empty handed. As a hunter/gatherer the store is mega fun. What will you find!? Stationary, writing instruments, candles, toys, tools, picture frames, dishes, glassware, pet supplies...should call it "got it all". And the best..it is ALL a dollar.

Let me start by saying that before I started my orthodontic treatment with Dr. McReath, I visited 5 different orthodontists in the Madison area, where I live. After meeting Dr. McReath and his team at my first visit, I knew I was at the right place and well worth the drive to the Sauk Prairie office for my appointments. Both Dr. McReath, the front office staff, and the ortho assistants are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful. Dr. McReath takes the time to explain the treatment plan and allows you to be a part of the plan. Let me add, that I am a very picky individual when it comes to my teeth. This is my second go-round with ortho after having braces as a child, and I am not the easiest patient to please. Dr. McReath has been patient with me and has listened to me explain how I wanted my teeth to look and discuss what was doable and what was not. He then worked with me to develop a plan to move towards that goal and to adjust the plan accordingly as we went along when it was needed. When my daughter was home from Sweden over the holiday and I wanted to see where I could get her a retainer made in only 2 days time, Dr. McReath's office scheduled us in the SAME DAY, and created a retainer for her. While we were there, they gave us recommendations of where we could eat lunch and shop in the area as well! These people are amazing. I don't know now how they have curated so much value in one ortho office, but they have. In short, the downside is that there is only one Dr. McReath! -Tammy in Madison, WI
